I think I'd be more frightened by a dogman than a sasquatch.
Me too Mark! I seriously think I would have a heart attack on the spot---they seem to be a whole other level of evil and dangerous.
I think I would too!
I have had 4 different close encounters with Sasquatch. 2 of the times the Sasquatch was only 25 - 30 foot away from me.
The first time it took off running from me. I couldn't see it because, it was totally invisible. At 25 feet I could not see it. Only the grass & leaves were moving, a long with a thundering boom, boom, boom, boom. The thing sounded like it was as heavy as a full grown horse. It scared the crap out of me! This happened to me on my first time exploring the woods in Southern Illinois after moving here from Southern California.
I was only able to figure out it was a Sasquatch because, a friend of mine and I went back out to the location 3 hours later after I told him the story of what happened to me. We found around 100 ft tracks that were 18 inches long & about 7 1/2 - 8 inches wide. Each foot had five toes just like a human.
I had another Sasquatch ( I'm guessing?) Follow me down a very dark Highway one night through the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. I had to walk in the dark, from 12:30 a.m.-3:30 a.m.( not by choice) it was an emergency situation. Something followed me alongside the road for 3 and 1/2 MI. I would stop, it would stop. I would scream at it but nothing would happen. I stopped & screamed at three times! It would just keep following me. It was way too dark to see. The thing finally quit following me when I had to walk across the Crab Orchard Lake bridge. On route 148. I got dropped off at the I-57 & route 148 intersection. At 12:30 am. I had to walk North bound through the Shawnee National Forest on Route 148 until I came to State route 13. Someone finally picked me up at 3:30 a.m..
I have had people tell me they have seen dog man 20 miles north of me at the Rend Lake area & people swear that they've seen them beginning 20 miles south of me, all the way to the Mississippi Ohio River.
I pray to God I never see one!
My Cherokee ancestors believed in both. We know they're here, and they're real.
I've seen two Sasquatch, not ten ft from me , one a youth , but I wasn't scared , just amazed . ( I was in a car ) but a dogman ? I'd be terrified .
Me too
Cam now who ain't gonna understand your accent? It's allll English 😂🥰
Poor Patchie! One of my earliest and most horrid memories was watching my little rat terrier get run over by a car as we were playing one day. 50 years later, I still see this picture in my head and it still makes me cry.
I kinda hope that dogs that are abused get some kind of karma payback for what they suffered somewhere in this universe.
O snap! Cam is doing a dogman story!!! Sweet, just made my crap day a little better!!!
Amen
Ooooo, that story of the little dog, Patchy , is spooky. But it was good.
These ghost stories have inspired me to write you my families true stories. I’ll send them when I get a chance.
Please do
@@DixieCryptidhey Cam 👋🏼 I know I am a pain in the booty but I have to ask again…. Are you any closer to bringing out some more episodes of Steve Lilly?
I love me some D.C

Omg, poor little Patchy. Awesome stories & kinda strange, thx
Great stories, nothing like a dark, quiet front porch to listen to these on just a beautiful fall evening !
❤️ Dixie ❤️& dogman ❤️
Hello Cam I sure do need a good story. I’ve had a bad few day. Cam take me away. Get it 😂😂😂😂🧡🧡🧡.
I had my first dogman encounter in Nov of 2005. I had just gotten home from my last Deployment from Iraq. And I am here to tell you that it changed my life forever. It takes alot to scare a battle harden combat vet but this dogman had 2 of us terrified.
I’ve read a few dogman encounter books by Tom Lyons, and have listened to many people talk about their encounters all over the world. Hits home when I hear about the ones in the States. Sorry you had a terrifying encounter. Thank you for your service too.
@@jeaninejulian2596 thank you that means alot
Wow I didn't expect that you were going to post today . I'm Lou from NC
Lou~Ann from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Hello Cam from Dothan Alabama!! Shure LOVED these STORIES!! Keep up the good stories please!
Ooh…I really like the new “Dixie Cryptid” opening credit with the electric noises. Nice job.
Oh, and hello to you and all of your listeners, from Whittier CA!
Thanks Rubin! I wasn't sure if anyone would notice.
@@DixieCryptid …it’s really good. I’m a commercial and documentary producer and recently have produced VFX- and your opening gets my stamp of approval! (For what little that’s worth! 😂).
Be well and stay safe, Cam.
@@rubinmendoza13 I was inspired by the opening credits of the fx show Mr Inbetween.
Hi Cam, some good stories there buddy, thanks for the narration, fine job!
I would most definitely rather see a sasquatch than a dogman any day!!! Dogmen are pure evil!!! Thanks for reading these great stories Cam!! You are the best narrator ever!!
Thanks to those who sent in the stories
Prayers & blessings to ALL EVERYWHERE!! 🙏🙏🙏
Look up the beast of LBL , it's from a guy named Roger who states he was the only survivor/ witness of the murders of a family of 4.of course there are those who don't believe him but he's very convincing to me.
I am a believer of Bigfoot but I don’t want to run in to nun of ‘em ! Just take my life as is…. With no nightmares of such a sight… How interesting they are to me I just love the stories Cameron. I would love to hear more bout Steve Lilly,
Lewis Shanks and the bouncer! Can’t think of his name. I’m right with them in every move they make !
Love your beautiful Chickens. Keep’em stories com in’ !
Poor guy, what a day from H
Prayers 🙏🙏 for you and yours
@@vicki3671 I hope Cam can and does find that story
Hello all, whoever wrote that last story has a way of bringing a person right into each scenario... I could easily visualize what the entire scene looked like with ease... Enjoyed all the stories and narration as usual... Much thx...
I love your stories true or not doesn't matter to me. You have a voice and good conversation to hold your attention. I always wait for them to be posted and when I get home at night I set on my back porch facing the mountains and forest that goes on for miles and listen to them. They bring by memories when I was younger listening to the radio that is the way heard stories. Your still better than cable TV so keep them coming.I get bored without having a good story from your podcast.
Good setting to listen, but with my imagination I'm glad I'm safe over the Pond, listening in bed! Every rustle in the distance, my eyes would be 0.0 .. I am def the definition of wimpy these days haha. Stay safe n happy mate :))
@@fuzzilu 😃💂I don't think a healthy fear of the unknown (aka rustles) is wimpy. Sensible.💂♂
Well but what about the rustle in your closet?🧛
In fact, have you checked into the history of your flat?🕵
I'm sure it's all lovely and fine..
...a quick sweep of ye' ole room can't hurt..🏏🛡🪖
😉😁Sorry don't mind me, and I'm sure alls well.
Much love from over here to over there. 👋Stay safe & happy fuzzilu
Wait you did check under the bed right
@@mq9893 heehee, my bed is a thing with drawers.. so anything under it would be flat! Ironically the next tale is from the UK ... I come from where the Black Shuck legend comes from. Deepest Fenland! Also anything brave enough to live in my closet, good luck living in my hippy jumpers 😁
Thank you Gorman
I can only close my eyes and imagine the setting you’re in, sounds wonderful. Cryptids or no cryptids, a natural setting would be a great way to listen to Cam.
"The only time to discipline a child is when they eat boogers."
🤦🏽♀️😐🤔🤐🤐🤐
This was a great batch of stories, loved each one. ❤️
thanks for the video,good stories
Playing baseball with a bigfoot was a great story. As for people not being to understand your "accent", it is relaxing and calming hearing your voice. Even when you get crazy and can't pronounce some words right. Some of those words are hard to wrap a person's tongue around. Keep on telling your stories, love listening to you. (and you are not the only bigfoot story teller with an accent.) And I love listening to her, too.
Wow that last one blew my mind! PTSD 😱 I feel for him. I have my son suffering of that also, so I k what it is . RIP to his friend as the dog? Chills having to see that everyday? 😳 Wow
Cam you are a very good narrator, keep bringing us great stories and encounters. I had an encounter with a dogman last winter and I can tell you it was an aww inspiring moment! To watch a dogman dispatch a pack of coyotes in mere minutes was something I never dreamed I would see! This experience really opened my eyes to what is just outside our doors.

Hi John, you should send in your experience with a Dogman to Cam, I’m sure he’d share it. 🤗😻🙏🙏🙏
I, agree with Elizabeth, you should send your story to cam. We'd 💕 Love ❤️ to hear it!!
It happened in Northern Kentucky. I can do that, just need to know where to send it?
Cam I loved the plantation ghost story! I believe it is a true story. There are many things that we don't yet understand, and may never understand. That doesn't mean that they don't exist. Great stories. Pam
Yup.
Thanks for taking the scenic route love fall the leaves changing color also enjoyed the stories keep up the good work
Thanks again for the stories Cam🍀
Sweet God's that last story is by far the best story I have ever heard also the scariest.
Great stories! Had to listen to these last two stories in daylight!

Cam I'm in the UK buddy and have absolutely no problem understanding you, the Scottish accent is a completely different story lol. Thanks for all your hard work my friend keep up the amazing work 👏 👍
uk too :)) I struggle with a Geordie accent! but this is the loveliest voice n accent. Makes me listen to ghost stories I usually avoid yesyes. Keep the accent !!
Yes, the Scots can be hard to understand. But...it is a beautiful accent.
Hey Cam, thinks for presenting us with cool content always.
Great video Cam I loved it! That last one was super scary! You narrated so well!
Aww....just got finished walking the dog! I love to listen while walking! This one's going to have to wait until tomorrow. Have work to do tonight.
Really enjoyed tonight.especially Jeffs story
Thanks for the stories. I like the last one.
Every story is great! And Cam, you tell them perfect.
So very cool video!!!❤🖤💞💙💜💚💛
Awww that story about the street dog made me cry. 😰😭
I KNOW I would poop my pants, no doubt about it! I would not tell a soul because they would laugh for sure, not with me, rather it would be AT me. nuff said. GREAT stories, thank you to those who send them to you to share with us. Thank YOU Cam for your hard work and love of the stories. Boondocks Rosey

Damn that last story was good!!
Gotta say Cam, you're the best out there. Thank you for all your hard work. I enjoy all your videos. Plenty of time to watch all your podcasts with all the rain we're getting this year.
LOVE THE PATCHY STORY! You do so good reading your voice is perfect!
I absolutely DID enjoy both the dogman and ghost story...but it continues...so I must listen and smack the hand of a booger picker, lol!
LOL....I don't know why that popped un my mind. We saw a young booger picker and eater last week and I wanted to tell her parents to clamp down on that behavior. But they weren't my kids...LOL
When i was a kid in the 60s nothing was better than being at my dads welding barn on the farm, listening to the baseball game on the small AM radio he had, while he welded n repaired our farm equipment.
Sometimes it would be midnight before we went to the house.
But the southern Missouri summer air at night, the breezes, and frogs peeping, and my mom would come to the shed about 9 pm with big chocolate shakes, and my brothers n i n my parents would take a break n enjoy the summer night.
Oh life was so great then.
I feel sad for the kids today that will never know how spectacular it was then.
Thanks Cam ,good stories ya got again !!!
Thanks buddy!!
That was an awesome story. Freaked me the frak out
Poor Patcy
Take care y’all and stay safe out there ❤🇨🇦
*HEY, CAM! WILL YOU PLEASE NARRATE MY OKOLONA, MS DOGMAN STORY?*
I'll look for it
Whew you got me drunk on the bike ride already
Every story a Winner! Awesome set-up! To the last one, I Vote YES ❣️ Please send more stories. I just Love getting completely freaked out at 3:00am and then trying to go to sleep.😵😱👀. But, that was some Great Writing 👍
Loved all the stories❣️ I love true ones the most, but can handle a good fiction story occasionally. I do like to know that it is though & you do that Cam, ty❣️
More fear than any response would be of contribution w a dogman! Whoa. They rip apart Bigfoot!
At last you've put gloves on, thank goodness. If a dogman did that to me, i'd shit my pants for sure.
This is one scary Subject and Title! 🧐 *Somehow Squasches are just way more appealing!* ✨ *PS: GO CUBS - GO!* ⚾🐾
Whoa!! The last entry was HIGHLY unusual. Yikes!
Geesh that last one was creepy but an excellent story.
Wow, great stories. Tyfs !
That couple hiking n camping n playing baseball with rocks was great !! I myself luv Steve and I luv Cam. Would enjoy hearing part 2, where they slept in the tent n she held him tight for safety throughout the night. He tore that sweet stuf up until sunrise. And today they take there cute 4 year old redhead hellion son and adorable little 2 year old daughter out camping in the same forests. And live happily ever after, as Blake Shelton would sing, " In Gods Country"
HA !! or as AXL Rose would say ............... folks , Use Your Illusion
Ah, we must never reject the great and powerful Anubis that existed way before man kind! Great work. Thank you!
Love The Stories,,, Thank U much,,🙏👍🙉🦊
Hello Cam. These stories r so good. Ea unique and different. TY! It's fun hearing these. Again thanks.

Thank you Cam those were great 👍 see you on the next one.
I love your sense of humor, so funny. Thanks
Great story, ty. A good one for Halloween. Take care and stay well
I'd love to live in an old plantation. So much rich history. As a southern boy, I grew up in our home place. It's been in my mom's mother's side of the family for almost 300 years
Placed an order 2 weeks ago. My husband loves this soap. He has sensitive skin and Yeti Bars makes him smell good without the itch.
Awesome
@@DixieCryptid One of your first subs here...and I gotta say I love your channel.
It seems like you really enjoy it. I appreciate you
i love these stories...even though it freaks me out!!😁
Hey Cam, more great stories. Thanks man for these great stories.
Stephen Gispanski
Great ghost story. I really liked that one. The others were good, too. Thanks for reading me my bedtime stories. Love ya 💕😊👍
The second story was sad, but those kids got thru it well. At least they weren't shadowmen or that grabbed them during the ngt hours 🙄
You definitely don't wanna run into a Dogman. Being Native American and growing up on the Rez I've heard and seen many MANY thing's to turn you pale. Dogman being at the top.
Great work as always, stay blessed Bro
I loved the baseball story! That’s exactly how I’d probably react. I too listen to that Steve fella in Canada as well as this channel and Buckeye Bigfoot! I love ‘em all! ❤
That last story was - a -Weird.
Loved all the stories in this podcast!
Thank you, I agree as a child I had experienced hearing someone speaking, feeling a terrifying feeling of being watched and be shaken awake by something unseen.
My mother always listened to me and brought me back into my room, prayed with me and told when you hear or see anything pray… call Jesus to come to you and say his name.
My mom always stayed with me till I fell asleep, and I to taught my children to do the same. Parents please listen to your children, pray with them, this will help them, plus they won’t be alone to deal with these things.
Excellent 🍻
Omg, these were really good today. These stories were really dynamic sir.
Enjoyed all the stories and that last one gave me goosebumps. Maybe the mixture of foreign country setting with the writer’s flair for telling a story but I am fascinated with Indian culture.
Thank you for the listening pleasure
WOW!! Those were some good ones!!
I know exactly where loblolly trail is at. Love that area. Just rode 30 mile endurance ride at Raven Richards Equestrian Trails. Awesome place.
Hey from Linda n Barbara in NC
All the Stories were excellent, well, except the last one, that was just sad and strange... 👍👍👍
Cam you make every genre of story awesome.
Good morning Cam. I do believe it's
a Southern thing, about your accent.
Most folks just don't get it though.lol
Well another round of great stories.
Thanks Brother, they make my day.
One day after binging on Dixie Cryptid I got up off my chair and groaned as I was stiff. My husband said What's wrong and I said Oh I am stiff after sitting pillion on Cam's bike all afternoon.
LOL
I don't know which of the visuals I like best, your chickens, the scenery, the psychedelics, or when you take us on a bike ride. I like them all! And I have always loved all of the intro music. One thing I do miss is hearing you say "here we go" at the beginning of the stories. I always tho't of it as one of your signature sayings. I have wondered why you stopped. ❣️🇨🇱
Oh man I don't have a minute see ya!
Great opening graphics! It is terrific to get a mid-week presentation. Thanks, Cam! I love your stories. I see you are getting more than 1,100 views per hour since you posted this video - and at this hour! Great work! You deserve it!
Thank you. The channel has lost a lot of views since I stopped doing only Bigfoot. But I have to do what I enjoy doing or I will lose interest.
@@DixieCryptid I appreciate that you are sharing your journey with we listeners. I am personally particularly interested in what other people have experienced first-hand. I also would prefer to see Bigfoot from a distance, and inside my car (with all the windows up). Keep on keeping on, Cam. Thanks!
