Yeah William it's not that I don't like the watch like I'm not a fan of this case design no matter who makes it but like it's a 10-dollar difference between addie's dive and steeldive and for that extra I would say the steeldive is the better choice now with that being said they don't offer a dial like the one here felo said he got his for $44 so at that price I mean yeah it's a really good watch you can always change the bracelet and to be perfectly honest both of these watches at sub $60 price is absolutely insane like that is a good deal for the money
Hello Ed. Thank you for reviewing this watch. I bought it on impulse mostly because of the dial (I got a thing for white dials and plain aluminum bezels), and I bought it for a ridiculously low $44 including tax. BTW, how is the movement running? Please feel free to size if you like, no worries. Lastly, Carl's chances of winning the next members only giveaway just went down to 50% as i just became a member :) (sorry Carl).... Thank you buddy. Be well. God bless.
Great review. It was cool to see you compare it to the steeldive. I could definitely see the difference. The dial looks interesting and I think that is the main deal with that watch. Thanks again for allowing me to receive one of your giveaway watches. I don't have a GMT so it's really going to be awesome to get one.
I love the watch head of the white one. I do not have a "willard and I'm going to get one of them (not sure which), but put a nice rubber strap on it that I have.
Just picked up the SD1970 with bracelet for 48GBP/60USD. I own the White Willard by Addies and think it's a great watch but has a few shortcomings. The handset could be larger, the legibility is not great and the clasp feels cheap. The Steeldive is better in all these areas.
I bought this watch a little while ago paid £48 Inc tax and delivery to the UK . I make you right about the bracelet though, i wasn't too impressed either so I just ordered a BOR in the Ali sale.
Come on what do you want for that price. I got this watch and its amazing and grip on bezel and winder are easy. Also steeldive and Addiesdive are the same company. And the dial is meant to represent waves on the sea. I think your trying to just make your steeldive better by digging holes in Addiesdive. I have 3 addiesdive and they are all super quality. Steeldive are more money as well.
I like that dial / bezel combination
Great review ED, the white dial looks fantastic!
Damn i wish had one but I can't buy it anymore on Ali express they can't send it to Indonesia anymore 😢
I picked this up on AliExpress about 6 months ago for $55... Beautiful watch

I don’t know. The white one has a very nice dial but the blue Steeldive looks fantastic 👌🏼👌🏼
Agreed 💯 the dial is just not enough to make up for all the rest of the areas where it's lacking in comparison to the steeldive

Thanks for allowing Ed to review your watch. It was definitely helpful to get a closer look at it.
@@deanP. It's my pleasure. Thank you.

Ouch man that clasp ... luckily I didn't get Addiesdive during 11.11 sales . I gotten steeldive instead.. the white sand dial and bezel interests me
I think you made the better choice
Great review Ed. Nice comparison.
Glad you enjoyed it

Good idea

Yeah you see what I'm saying for the extra 10 the steel dive is much better house much did the border run you
Don't like the shape of willards and turtles
Smart
@@alanturner7654 yeah I am not a huge fan either
Pretty cool watch.

For what little bit extra the steel dive cost it is totally worth it
Nice watch ❤
I like the white
think I need to get me a white dialer!! 😎😎😎
The dial is the best part on this watch
@@mr.eswatchreviews yup goes well against the steel bezel 😎
The bezel on the Addiesdive is way too tight.
And to thin
@@mr.eswatchreviews Yeah, sounds right. If Steeldive get creative with their dials like Addies and Heimdaller we'd really have some hot watches.
non - blue dial!??? sacrilege!
My lume i ca see all night
