Hello Anders Lad & Dad, I must admit, this is the only Karting channel that I enjoy watching, and hope you continue your endeavors! This video is interesting though, I've been doing extensive research on Theme-Parks and Go-Karting and hearing your frustration with Teamsport is no surprise and helps with my research. Quite surprised that place lacks communication & management how can they run a business if they can't do that? Oh well wish them best regardless I suppose. However I do wanna ask you and Jake a question if you were to go to a Go-Kart place, Track which ever it may be what 3 things would you like to see, it can range to pricing (lets be honest prices are expensive), track design, whatever it is, what will those 3 things be?
Hi 👋 Thank you for your kind words about our channel, it’s much appreciated. Hopefully Teamsport can sort there planning and poor communication out going forward. Our best 3 tracks are gyg in wales, Rowrah in the lakes and shennington. All 3 tracks are fast & flowing, my son loves these 3 tracks, we tend to go where the championship were in dictates. Me as a parent I like a track with good facilities. My boy is more bothered about if the track is fast & fun with overtaking opportunities.
@@AndersLadAndDad Thank you for your kind reply and for your intake on what you would like to see when it comes to tracks and good facilities. And about your boy being bothered about if the track is fast & fun with overtaking opportunities, I'm not entirely surprised. Tracks being fast & fun is important but if it doesn't have overtaking opportunities, it won't be considered fun but repetitive, it's probably why teens & adults prefer outdoor karting then in-door karting. You might be wondering why I might be asking this question on what you would like to see please let me explain. I have been writing a blueprint on ideas of creating a Go-Kart theme Park with different themes and attractions (Jungle-Park, Water-Park, I have it all layed out), so I have been doing my homework on Theme-Parks and Go-Karting for a while and still gathering more information on it. I might reach out to you for sponsorship in the near-future whenever that opportunities arises so I can gather more information on what Karters teens and older expect to see weather it be jobs/careers, facilities, pricing, attractions etc (more information is needed) doing the impossible and making it a reality. So I have been working on my ideas for a while, not ready for execution on it yet but making progress on it.
@@ashen_works hi This sounds awesome, can clearly see you’ve put a lot of thought into it, I’d be more than willing to have a chat on the phone about it. Go kart theme park sounds fantastic to me. Sure, with about half an hour to go in the 1 hour race, the police kart comes on track and starts to overtake people, when he does, you get black flagged and have to go the pits for a 10 second penalty. Just a bit of fun to make the race more interesting
The staff were told it was speed 3 this year and it was supposed to be speed 3 last year I think but because lots of venues had been using speed 4 they allowed it

Last year at BIKC Brighton Regional we were told that we were going to speed 3 on the day so they’re running speed for all members events leading up. Told that was 100% and it wasn’t going to change. Then the week before they changed their mind and changed it to speed 4, did two events like that then they changed it back to speed 3 the day before. Then IN THE BRIEFING for Lightweights they gave us the choice and had to vote for it 🤦🏻 This is it’s much better for me end because Farnborough is a slippery track and only ever run speed 3 so should be guaranteed speed 3. Warrington would make sense in speed 4 as it’s such a big track
That’s crazy 👀 I’ve heard Warrington will be speed 3 as well, tbf round Warrington speed 3 is a quicker lap time. Jake has the lap record of 51.1 on speed 3. His best speed 4 time is a 51.5. He says the kart handles better on the lower setting. I’m not bothered what we race on, it should have all been sorted before the championship started.
