Reminds me of some magical creeks nearby, what an amazing find. Thanks for resisting any urge to disturb or dig in the gravels, as much as they mean to us - they're even more valuable to the fish who hide their eggs within.
The Agate Angler recommended your channel, and I'm so glad he did. I envy your ability to find such beauty. I'll be seeking out more of your videos. Thanks for sharing.
This is by far my favorite video of yours that I’ve seen so far (20ish). Loved the forest stream!!! That crystaly agate wood piece was the most beautiful rock I’ve ever seen. For me, it would be a piece of a lifetime.
This is one of my favorite posts by you. I think I recognize the creek and my family is going there this week. I'll be keeping my (untrained, new at this) eyes open wide!!!
I don't think I would be able to do anything to those rocks except stare at their beauty . Theo I think you have one serious knack for finding some seriously awesome rocks Wow.. The areas you traveled through were stunning :) Now excuse me while I pick up my jaw off the desk :)
Thank you so much! It was definitely a fantastic day! I could not believe the stuff that we got into! And you just have to love the beauty of Montana mountains 😊 thanks so much for watching!
So cool. When you showed that quartz pocket I literally laughed hard out loud with joy for you. Just spectacular. Funny too because they I shared this with my niece on fb before I even went any further. She looks vest near you and her and her son love rocks.
Holy cow these are quite possibly the prettiest finds on any hounding video I've seen- that green opalized and agatized wood- ooof! What I wouldn't give for a find like that!💚😍 superb video content
I liked the way you picked up the trash. I have noticed the rock hunters do a good part to keep the river and stream edges clean. Everyone should be as diligent in keeping nature as nature and not a garbage dump. Bravo to you and I like your show.
I seriously could not believe my eyes when I found that one! I think my complete and utter loss of words in the video is evidence of that 😂 thanks so much for watching! 😊
It was insane! Especially considering that I started the day with zero intentions of going rockhounding! 😂 please let me know when your package gets there! I'm excited to hear what you think! 😊 also, let me know if you would like the tracking number and I can get it sent over to you!
Theo Kellison , I love my new rocks from you! SO great to see the baculites, gryphea and inoceramus-none of which I had, and now I have a better feel for shapes, host rock, etc. My stepdaughter and boyfriend happened to come at the same time I opened your package, and the boyfriend was completely intrigued-now my stepdaughter doesn’t think my rockhounding is quite so weird, ^__* ! I am definitely going to get a rotary tool soon, too, and am already hankering for a MUCH bigger tumbler, although my first batches of p wood and chalcedony are still in process. Wow, the shine on that mussel shell... many, many thanks.
@@pamelabrown3020 I am so happy to hear that you liked them! I may have included some extras; I felt awful about taking so long to get it out to you 😅 after learning that you live on Montana, I had to include some Montana fossils! Sometimes just seeing them can give a better example of what to keep an eye out for! Again, I am so happy to hear that you liked everything! 😊
A owl or a bumble bee, I would buy in a heart beat, I love rocks, I go and hunt for them all the time, but my hip is broken and I'm waiting at home for surgery, so I thank you, for taking me outside, thru your videos
I definitely turn into a little kid when I get into some great stuff! Especially when I had no initial intention of rockhounding! I could not believe that huge chunk that Alexis found! And that is seriously hilarious that you say that; Alexis and I have both referred to you as my rock mom😂
So much fun. Loved the quartz and agates. Awesome finds my friend. I was goi g to send you some paua/abolone shells but the ones I have are very brittle. I will get some more when the water warms up a bit, sorry for the delay.
Some of the most entertaining content you've produced yet, in my opinion. You crushed it, too! (killer finds) I can't remember the last time I was as excited as you with my bounty but those were mighty impressive.
Thank you so much! That truly means a lot! 😊 I always get excited when I find good stuff but even more so when I had no intention of rockhounding! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Just love watching you find your treasures!! Nothing like the thrill of the find! I do have a question... how do you get the green algae off? My biggest frustration is how to clean my treasures once they are home Have tried bleach, muriatic acid, lime away, and numerous other stuff.. can you give some suggestions or even better a video of basic cleaning & prepping rocks!!! That would be awesome! Keep on rockin!!!
That was a great episode. You found awesome specimens in two different locations. How much fun was that? We could hear it in your voice. Thanks for sharing.
It was definitely a fantastic day! I'm sure it was evident from my voice 😅 absolutely was not expecting to find such treasures! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
I have been working my way through your videos since finding your channel, and I have to say that without fail you obvious excitement and enthusiastic passion for what you do(specifically all your vocalizing, lol) make this channel worth its weight in gold. Keep at it, and beautiful work
It was definitely a magical day! I was not expecting such a bounty! Usually you don't find agates in the mountains here in Montana, so I had to pick my jaw up off of the ground a couple of times, as is likely evident from my voice in the video 😅 thanks so much for watching!
I know! I couldn't believe it! Especially since we had no initial plans on rockhounding! That was some crazy stuff to stumble upon! Thanks so much for watching! 😊

@@TheoKellison Hello hello, I had been traveling the last couple of days so just opened today. Everything is absolutely beautiful...thank you so so much. They have been placed on a special cabinet to showcase their beauty. Will send an email shortly. Thank you so much again. Grace
I've just started watching your videos about a week or so ago and I really have enjoyed all the ones I've watched so far. I can't believe how many beautiful rocks, agates, and petrified wood you find all the time. I've been having real trouble finding anything in my area. I've been trying to find someone to help me with acquiring some either by helping me with finding the right area's to go to near me or maybe shipping me a few and I'll pay for their time and the cost of shipping.
Hey there! Great finds!! Truly amazing content. I love you’re enthusiastic commentary. Are you out in Colorado? I’m a Colorado native and the topography looks familiar.
Wow oh wow Theo! Yes yes yes that petrified wood will make an amazing knife! When you make it please talk about how thick of a slab you start with. Thanks for taking us along.
I can definitely do that! When I made the knife for Alex, I was using a slab that I had been holding onto for awhile, but I will have to start from the ground up on the petrified wood! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Hope you all enjoy this one! It was too much fun! Don't forget to come over and join my facebook group, "Look What I Found!", where you can share your finds and connect with other rockhounds and RUclipsrs! Wow. I was saying that the same time you did onthose mountain stream finds. Holy Mother load . I hope you go back there again. Such amazing finds. And I so love how excited you get over all of them. I would be the same way. You should carve a skull out of agatized wood. That would be the bomb.. Awesome video.
Many pretty and unique finds I would like to see you make a straight blade knife. My first handles did not turn out well . I will practice more. I am using some lesser rocks so not much waste. Havagudun Theo.
I will definitely make a video for the knife! It should look awesome! And practice is never a bad thing, when I made the agate knife for agate angler I made about five blades out of sandstone just to make sure that I wouldn't ruin the agate when it came time to shape it. Thanks for watching, my friend!
Hey Theo! Have you ever tried to make the tops of a cane or longer walking sticks cared out of wood and petrified wood? I bet you would be able to make some money making them. There are so many people that take long walking sticks with them hiking just to help your balance and canes like they used to make back in the day, kind of like the jurassic park movie, where the old man walks around with his carved out amber cane. They may not need to carry a cane but there are collectors that would love one or the other.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
My mind is blown! What fantastic finds.
