This video is a time lapse of a briefcase repair I did recently. The case was so damaged (especially in the corners) that some of the parts were impossible to fix, nevertheless the briefcase is now usable again and is ready for a new life!!!

Wish I knew where to find wrapped leather handle like this. Nothing comesclose to vintage handles that I am anle to find.
Great job! But i am more interested in the handle itself as i am dealing with one myself. Is it all leather on the inside like one of your handle video or do they have something more rigid like plastic mold or something extra like steel inside? Anybody else got any idea? Thanks! That a great idea for a future video. This type of handle can be 100% made by leather
I see lots of these type of suitcases around but it seems that the lid to the suitcase tends to be warped or out of shape. How would you recommend reforming the leather so that it goes back to the original shape
I have a vintage hard case but the hardware is all oxidized anyone know how to remove the oxidation

Hello i have similar black leather briefcase that that some cating of the leather came off. how can i repair this?
i aslo want to know beacuse i just bought one today and saw that peices where starting to come off and i also want to paint it beacuse of the paint is coming off
