Jazz is to spontaneous . When it is right as a player you get outside of yourself and become an observer with zero inhibitions. Chic and Gary are there in this performance. Stan Getz referred to Chic as the most talented and learned musicians he ever played with when Chic was a younger side man in Stan's Quartet. Nice compliment for young Chic who went on to be a top act in his own right.

Piano and vibraphone make a great duo. Chick Corea & Gary Burton (1997) and Gary Burton & Makoto Ozone (2002) are highly recommendable.
