Hey Nate! You cracked me up with showing us how you'd look walking with the Walking Taco! That was hilarious! I'll be at WDW over Labor day and I put the Walking Taco on my list of food things to try! It looked really good. I ordered 2 MB+ yesterday and I'm looking forward to trying them out, but I also have my fave MB2's like you. I really love my Grand Floridian one and would hate not to get to wear it anymore. Just when I thought we couldn't love you more, you show us what it looks like walking around eating a walking taco! I thought you could never top the moment you showed us how there was enough room under the resort's bed for a person to fit! I'll never underestimate you again! ❤❤❤
The walking taco is actually pretty common in México! It’s called "dorilocos” instead of fritos we use a doritos bag 😅
Doritos is a walking taco. That is a Frito pie that Nate is eating 😄.
For some reason the "MagicBand+" reminds me of the interactive wands at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal.
Pretty sure that is the point, to compete with Universal

In my country we do the same "walking tacos" type in bags of fritos with ceviche or chifrijo (chicharrón + chimichurri) and we called "caldosas"

The long line for space mountain was because of a conference happening in Disney World. I was one the of people attending the conference. The conference had about 4,300 people and most went to magic kingdom that evening. I avoid magic kingdom because I knew the lines were going to be crazy.

You have to use the parks play app with the statues. You will get and gold card and than some AR of the statues. And more badges if you do them all

Yeah as someone with limited time during vacations there a Magic Band + would not be put to use well. I don't waste time w/bounty hunting and statues. Plus the having to charge it sounds like a PITA to me. Glad you're back in Disney Nate!
I think battery life on the MB+ will be the weak point. With active interactive use its lasting most folks about 2-3 hours. I'll wait a few months before buying to see if they can improve it.

Got our magic bands at Disney Springs and my goodness there were so many awesome designs to choose from. I literally had an anxiety attack picking one so my hubby made the choice for me and got me the purple Minnie Mouse castle one and he got the Monsters Inc band. We are so excited to use them at the parks and have just made reservations to Magic Kingdom besides our Hollywood Studios reservations to test them out. Can't wait to do the Bounty Hunter Experience too! Thanks for the great video.

You can already use your phone to do everything a magic band can do so at this point Bob chapek is just searching for new ways to squeeze even more money out of all the people who already have magic bands. It is a cool concept though but they should be making the experience more immersive and interactive without charging people an extra $50 for it. Also a great video as always Nate!

I was watching a History channel documentary on the imagineering of Disney World. And one of the imagineers that worked directly with Walt quoted him saying “plussing” an attraction/idea was a phrase Walt used when he wanted it to have more/that extra special element. So
Maybe that’s why the Disney company uses + with everything? 🤷♀️

New goal: meet Nate when I go to Disney with my daughter in November
The Plus in all the naming comes from Walt. Everything that added to an experience was plussing the value. You had Disney Channel, then Disney + was the upgrade to the channel. Again, Magic Band then the MB+ as it has more features adding to its value. I found out about this in an old documentary about Walt and the parks.
Iger talked about it in his book as well. Very similar to what you said Walt was all about delivering what was expect PLUS more. I like the nod to Walt.

Love the videos as always but I am not sold on the new Magic Band. I hope more features are added but as someone who only goes to the park once a year or every two years, I want to get as much done as possible. I feel like the new bands are for people who go to the parks more regularly.
