There should be a page in the beginners book dedicated to telling the player that cleavers of any kind can only be crafted at anvils. My boys and I thought it was bugged when we couldn’t craft a bone cleaver that we were so eager to use.
Idk if it’s been updated since you commented this because I just started playing the mod a few days ago but for me there is a footnote on the bottom of the recipe pages for things requiring the anvil, notably the cleaver

For those struggling to smelt molten ores on the casting table, for some reason only the copper cans let you pour the molten ores into the casts, not buckets.
This is the first place I've seen a guide for the modifiers so thank you for that! I will say it's kinda odd that some things got changed going over to bedrock. I miss Frying pans and that bones did splintering ( extra damage )
For those who are trying and are not able to improve their furnace, this is because the game installed is the lite version, while the one in the video is the original version of the game.
I have to say, I’m very impressed with this addon. I’m trying out the Lite version and having a lot of fun. The only nitpick I’ve got is the Crimson Slime. Never already has Magma Cubes, so they’re a little out of place in my head canon, but that’s a me problem. Love the Purple and Blue slimes thought! Reminds me of Dungeons.
this addon is amazing. i just couldn't figure out how to create the binding thing in survival... somehow.. but thanks to u, i now know & i feel so dumb..
It was nerfed now. But overall smelting your raw ores using the smeltery is still way more efficient than using regular furnace, since you get a full block for 5 raw ores. And also relying on netherite alloys gives you a ton more upon smelting
@@spades1159I’m assuming you’re on preview? Because most mods don’t work on preview since Preview has a new API system. Also some mods break tinkerers construct so it’s best to play just with the 1 mod
@@SUP3R2069 actually I’m on a regular realm with experiments on. Of course preview would have issues hence the name. It’s easier to just summon the items via command anyways, because the issue is the blocks can’t be placed probably due to experimental mode.
@@SUP3R2069 with most of what you said even still. I have a would with 10 mods running perfectly all major overhauls, but I run this one with one other and broken immediately. Those are issues that should be addressed. It’s not simply too many add ons.
If I'm not mistaken, it is an official addon from the same creator of the Java mod, right? If not, sorry if I'm wrong but, honestly, the addon has disappointed me a lot since it doesn't have the same interface or fluid mechanics as the java mod, many items are missing and really it is possible to port it since I have come across a creator who has completely copied the java mod, it has its flaws but it is quite faithful and you don't have to pay anything it's just there for free I hope they update the addon well in the future.
It is not from the official dev of the java mod... The official dev has it licensed under the MIT license and anyone can recreate it. The Tinkers Construct addon that reached out and got the okay from the original dev and has been on bedrock for a few years now is FREE and anyone can add it to a phone or pc version of bedrock by downloading the .mcaddon file freely available. After trying both i wish i would have saved the mc coin because this paid version sad. It is lacking in may ways.
Ik the diamonds trait is enhanced durability but the stats on netherite parts are better. Dose the diamond do anything that I can't see to increases the tools durability, like an unbreaking enchantment? Or is it bc the netherite part was Dimond it keeps the "trait"?

You have to make stone parts put sand casts then the stone part then remove the stone cast and use a copper can to pour your ores into the sand cast also to make gold casts you have to craft more stone tool parts then use a bucket of your gold to make it work hope that helps not great at explaining

I don't know if I'm being stupid or what I've followed the smelting build up and I've gone to try smelting cobalt and ardite but it will not let me put the raw ores into the controller 😅
I came here for this reason, Tinkers is not compatible with latest Minecraft version I suppose. Also basic in-game guide and encyclopedia has different stats for material tiers...

I'm confused cause I tried everything to try and repair casted tools for example I had a Rose Gold pickaxe head with a diamond handle but trying to use the Rose Gold repair kit I just kept getting the message "Repair material does not match" I tried it with a diamond repair kit as well and no luck but with a full iron tool I was able to use an iron repair kit no problem. The molten Netherite is the only one which can’t go into casts. You have to put it in the square thing, cold it, take off the cube and make ingots from that cube. Then, you can use Netherite ingots to upgrade all diamond tool or weapon parts on an Anvil (also, you’ll need a blueprint for the upgrade)

Tried getting killed twice by the same husk, once without a netherite weapon, once with it, and it both cases, hits were doing as much damage and it took the husk exactly the same amount to kill. Does it work differently than what I'm thinking it does?
You need to use the alloy crafter and put 3 netherite scrap and 3 raw gold in to make a raw netherite blend, but it can only be used on ingots bc you have to upgrade diamonds parts at a smithing table, hope this helps!
@@austinwoodringmemberofflig8980 you need to put the part of the tool, it wont work on a tool, but for example, a diamond cleaver blade would go in, add netherite (and a netherite upgrade template) and then you have a netherite cleaver blade, put that with whatever tool you want and thank me later

@@lavenderwolfbound5886 Use a melter to melt down gold ingots or ore and then place a seared brick into the casting table. Pour a bucket of gold around the seared brick and you'll get an ingot cast. Pouring iron or gold etc into said cast will give you ingots. If it doesn't let u pour it in then that means you have to pour a bucket into the smelting basin and then put the block it makes into your crafting table to revert it to ingots. Hope this helped

@DrHg you know what's funny? I spent 40 minutes trying to do it, and it was simple with a bucket and filled it up with cobalt liquid, because I had to will the smelter full ywith lava which is why it didn't work. Which made me feel stupid, but thx again.
.... figured with the quality of ftb java this would be worth it but...... The free tinkers construct is much better and more feature rich then this half done paid version by ftb.... Sad and disappointing.

blazing lava put a blaze head in casting tub and dump lava on it

It should work fine on your console I can run it on my secondary iPad mini Wich is 100x a weaker than a console so it should run smooth for you🎉😊

How do you make the cobalt ingot to make the armors I can't find any ingot castings or so to make it, I'm frustrated by it.
Pour molten cobalt into casting bin, then it will solidify into block
Afterward put the cobalt block to ur crafting table, similiar to how u turn block of iron into iron ingot.

Try casting copper and gold and you’ll find out it doesn’t work😂 the thing super buggy and needs to be fixed

I've just tested both copper and gold and both work fine? If you're trying to make copper tools that's on you.. copper tools aren't a thing

@@lavenderwolfbound5886 Use a melter to melt down gold ingots or ore and then place a seared brick into the casting table. Pour a bucket of gold around the seared brick and you'll get an ingot cast. Pouring iron or gold etc into said cast will give you ingots. If it doesn't let u pour it in then that means you have to pour a bucket into the smelting basin and then put the block it makes into your crafting table to revert it to ingots. Hope this helped

The new anvil? Just click it, its just another crafting table. To make cleaver u need to craft it in the anvil

@DrHg you know what's funny? I spent 40 minutes trying to do it, and it was simple with a bucket and filled it up with cobalt liquid, because I had to will the smelter full ywith lava which is why it didn't work. Which made me feel stupid, but thx again.

.... figured with the quality of ftb java this would be worth it but...... The free tinkers construct is much better and more feature rich then this half done paid version by ftb.... Sad and disappointing.
