- Come along with the boys as they desensitize LJ our new molly mule some more and work with Navajo our Navajo reservation mule we got from the farm on route 66. mules are very different from horses you have to be a mules friend then they will trust you.
Johny is just fearless. He is going to be a great horseman. Nice job getting back on the mule after getting bucked off
FEARLESS!!! That describes him perfectly! thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing! Fine young men you are raising. Johnny and Z are learning so much about themselves while doing such a good job working and calming the horses and mules.
Johnny getting bucked off showed that. So glad he wasn't hurt. Know it didn't feel good but what a trooper he is. After his Dad checked him and he felt assured ....he went right back to Navajo and continued. Tough kid . Love your channel! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you! He is a tough kid. Thanks for watching!
Glad that Johnny is okay. He's such a little sweetie. He and Z work well together with the animals.
We are glad too! Thanks for watching!
You got some good boys there. Very cute and good with the animals.
I think Zee ia handsome too, in a quiet bashful way. He is great as a big brother. Good job!!
Thank you. We think he is quite handsome and he is a good big brother 😊. Thanks for watching!
Johnny you are one tough Lil cowboy! Good to see you get back up on the mule and show him you're not scared! I think you won this battle with Navejo and will continue to train him well. Good work boys!👏🐎👏
Thanks. Thanks for watching
I use to imprint my foals from day one. It made them very calm and not spooky. we would train for 2 yrs on the groung. I love your video. Kids are great. They sure listen to you very well.God Bless.
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
Johnny did great getting back up after getting smacked in the face with that mule head! It gave me Deja Vu to when my daughter got bucked off her mare, riding her like a rodeo champ until the mare threw her head back and caught my daughter across the cheek bone, sending her flying. My daughter got right back on, and didn't cry until she got in the car to go home. She had a big shiner for the next week to show for her efforts.
those are two sons to be proud of! impressive!
Thank you. Thanks for watching
He grew up overnight! Love the haircut . . .at the cemetery! 😂😂😂
He looks 5 years older now.
haha so funny huh. I think he looks handsome with short hair, but this momma kind of likes the mullet too. Thanks for watching!
@@thetinbarnfarm He looks great with a mullet as well and by the time he goes on a mission it will probably be allowed!
Ì swear your kids R half horse..it is a delight to watch them wirk the animals.Ýour Mules R beautiful + I L💖VE th Baby Mule- settled down ,still full iv attitude- and so very pretty 😊💖🇿🇦

Good boy Johnny! He’s big, you’re little. You are growing up each time you push yourself a little harder. We all can see how hard you’re working!
Thanks for that comment, it is so true! Thanks for Watching!
What a great kid Johnny is.
Thanks. Thanks for watching
Awe, Great job Johnny! Gettin’ bucked off and right back on builds amazing character young man. You are awesome!
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
@@nunya8843 So if someone gets bucked off, which is pretty much guaranteed in this world, you would like them to never get on again? Perhaps just live in a state of fear of the equine world? I do many riding lessons with people that had that happen as a child and the parent did not make them get back on right away. Equine world has its downfalls and can be dangerous even for experienced riders. However, so is getting in a car and going to the grocery store, heaven help us to get back alive and without covid.........
@@CoyoteWindRanch I agree with you totally. I teach riding lessons and there are alot of children that are gutsy and want to move forward but held back by parents. But builts character confidence and thinking skills.
The fellas look really handsome with their haircuts.
Thanks. Thanks for watching
Johny’s the man! First off I like your new hair cut, second you took that fall like a champ and you got right back on. Johny your one strong kiddo. Z and Johny work very well together. John I like how you handled Johnys fall, made sure he was ok but had him follow through and get back on. You and your wife are wonderful parents and the strength of your family shows. God bless the Wilhelm family. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you much! Thanks for watching!
I love Johnny's haircut - so cute! He is a brave warrior by getting back on Navaho. That mule will learn that Johnny is the boss.
Thank you! We have great hopes for this mule. Thanks for watching!
Johnny, I use to get seminary and cemetery confused all the time too. Thanks for following the words of the Church leaders. :)
I thought for a moment Johnny broke his arm the way he came down. I know getting knocked in the jaw isn't fun, probably will have a bump there in the morning. Gotta have a lil cry, get it out of your system, make sure nothing is broken and back up "in the saddle". Z good job keeping calm and not reacting to a fall, if you hadn't the incident could have gone another way.
They are pretty smart boys they do well in pressure situations. Thanks for watching!
Z and Johnny work so well together. Johnny your a tuff boy. Glad you didn't get hurt. Thanks for the showing us the elk. Didnt know they came that close to your house. Thats something, very cool.
Yeah elk are really cool. We get to see them often. Johny is a tough little cowboy.
loves__tube ~ Did you see the antlers on that elk!!? Gorgeous animal.
@@TXNLaurenMcN yes I did. I'd love to find them in the wood when they fall off. I'd never kill an elk but antlers where something.
Johnny did great, and Z is a great brother and you are a patient teacher/trainer
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Jonny Sir, That is a Very Nice Hair Cut you have there, Be sure and Thank your Grandma for such a nice hair cut. 💞🦢
Thank you! Grandma is the best ❣️
Johnny you did fantastic job. Don't feel bad. I to came off my horse. The first time in 45 years. Wasn't anyone's fault. I used the wrong blanket. And I didnt follow my gut feeling. Any got up on my old mare after not riding for awhile. When out for a trail ride, had a great time, walking of course out of shape for much more. Will anyway went to get out off the saddle got my left leg halfway over and whoops the saddle started to slide. In slow motion down I went. Flat on my back. Reyn standing there looking at me like stupid what you down there for. Banged my head of course just a small headache and sore shoulders. Got up with her help and took the saddle off. The material the saddle blanket/pad was thick like batten. I usually dont use it only on thin or high wither horses for more protection. But anyway has embarrass in myself. Lesson for me follow my gut. And I didnt get back on. But tomorrow I am sore shoulders and must likely the headache will come to. Great Job To All.
Thanks for sharing your story. I really believe in following your gut too! Thanks for watching
Good job Johnny and Zee. Looks like Navajo is goosey on his sides. I bet he'll improve with your teamwork and love. Once they trust you they are so good. I saw a neat elk crossing built on HWY 60 east of Payson.
Hello yes we hope Navajo will be a good mule,. He is testing us right now 😄. That elk crossing is kind of neat I would like to know exactly the philosophy behind it. Thanks for watching
Gorgeous elk. Would never expect them to be running around on a farm in Arizona.
They are gorgeous, we do get them a lot. Thanks for Watching!
Great job boys! What an awesome family you have. Binge watching your channel and really enjoying it. Thx
The boys are like many of us training colt. We had a great, great grandfather didn't like mules, because neighbor's mule kick is drink out of his hand when he lend in the barn, right in front of everyone. Be safe and keep up the videos.
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
Handy pair of mule whisperers there! Keep it up!
Thanks! Thanks for watching!

Way to scoot up there Johnny👏.
Of course the Elk comes into your back yard when you're Busy 😲.
😱 Aww Johnny buddy ,I hope your okay 💝.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄
Thanks JoJo. Thanks for watching
There's an old saying Johnny that if horse bucks you off you don't let them beat you, you get right back up and pull up your boot straps and try it again. Love always works wonders with just about any animal even a mule.
Isn't that the truth! LOVE , I think it works with all of God's creatures including HUMANS :)
Thanks for Watching!
I agree
Soft dirt doesn't hurt...Ya, right. You are a tough little man Johnny! Good Job... Thanks for helping your little brother Z!
Ya but if the ground was harder it could have been worse. Especially the way he landed with his arm out.
It still hurts, just a little less than the hard stuff :) Thanks for Watching!
Great job Jonny
Thanks for watching!
Great job Johnny & Zee. Getting bucked off hurts but you did Great. You have to get back on or the mule will not learn the correct things. You should be so proud of yourself like we are all proud of you. You keep on working with the mule he will learn to trust you more each time. He just needs to know you aren't going to hurt him. You got this good job guys.
Thank you! Thanks for watching

What a brave kid! Good job, Johnny.
Johnny you are TBF’s future mule whisperer. They’re tough but you’re tougher. Your sidekick Z is pretty special too.
He is good with All animals 😉. Yes a future mule whisper! Thanks for watching!
Your family started their mission a long time ago!!! Everything has a God center to it as each was created BY HIM. But teaching these children to teach others is done even through their participation in their horses!!!💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks. Thanks for watching
And Z you are a great big brother!
Thanks! Thanks for Watching!
OUCH!! That hurt, I am glad Johnny is okay, dang!! Rid'em Lil Cowboy!! Love the hair cuts, but love the mohawks too!!
He loves it, and he loves to tell a story so I think he even loves getting bucke off lol.... Thanks for Watching!
Love all the great advice. Don't get bucked off is the best. Could have done to be told that when I was a kid. Coz my mum always said after, you gotta get straight back on. No time for tears or plasters. Great pair of young mule wranglers.
Johnny you are my hero. I would never be able to get back on so fast... please stay safe.. I love watching you work these amazing animals..
Thanks! Thanks for watching
I giggle ever y time he has to pull up his britches lol.
Hi Johnny. Love your determination and understanding. Do those pants, need more elastic? Ha ha?
lol... yes they probably do, he probably forgot his belt those things are the least of his worries at this age... I always see a shift in the boys about 6th or 7th grade, they start to care about how presentable they are and I don't have to force them to shower .... Thanks for Watching!
I thought he might lose them when jumping up on his mule. Such a good little man.
@@thetinbarnfarm they grow up so last then leave the homestead. I miss Andy. How is he doing. Such a great rider and trainer. But Andy should be warned that Johnny is right behind him. He might pass him with is riding skills.
Getting a girl, often sorts out appearances. But he's perfect just as he is. A steak sandwich. Oops. Might be Aussie slang.
Johnny is a stuff little dude. I bet he sleeps good tonight with all those on and off of Navajo .
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
That was cool - Elk you say - there he is wow
Elk are beautiful creatures 💕
When the video started I was like Johnny looks different. Then you guys said something about a haircut. I love Johnny's hair cut. Good job Johnny working the mules feet. Z your an awesome big brother working with Johnny & Navajo. Johnny good job on getting back on Navajo after he bucked you off!

Navaho is a beautiful mule. Johnny and Zee do really good work with the horses, mules and donkeys.
The elk in the background was a bonus.
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
Johnny you are one tough young MAN !
Thanks! Thanks for Watching!
My cousin had a small work mare had a white mule colt. When he's sister went in the pasture this colt ran up to her, and reread up put his front legs on her shoulders lick her face. That game had to be stopped fast. This past Monday morning a herd of elk of 70 ran through there hay field cross the highway and headed to the hills by our ranch. I hope my family filled there elk tags this year.
Thanks for watching!
Oh my didnt realize he got bucked off poor little guy 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Thanks for watching!
I did this with my young teen son when we were training our american saddlebred horse to ride but of course i had him put on a riding helmet. PLEASE put a helmet on your kid especially when riding near metal railing panels. My BIL's calm older horse tripped or spooked and he was thrown into the metal railing and hit his head (he insisted on wearing only a cowboy hat no helmet) and he suffered brain damage and has never been the same since and life is now hard for the whole family. so preventable!!
Thanks for the suggestion, thanks for watching!
Lil Johnny is one tough hand...get back on with no hesitstion..
#be cowboy lil Johnny 🤙
He is so determined :) Thanks for watching!
What wonderful boys you have!!! 🤗
Thanks! Thanks for watching!
Great job Johny! He might need a little Arnica after that fall to help with the swelling of his jaw.
This was quite a while ago, but I love arnica
Thanks for the entertainment Johnny! You got a lot of guts.
You are welcome! TThanks for Watching!
I agree with Melinda Ivey I’m glad Johnny is okay and that he is a good kid. Also that him and Z work well with animals together. My accident is almost like this but I was on a road with my friends and they were racing but I didn’t want to so I stayed behind.Well little did I know my horse is buddy sour, it didn’t end well. I ended up with a broken leg and arm because I was on a tall and very strong draft horse that had stepped on me. Again I’m glad he’s okay cause getting thrown off is dangerous sometimes depends on when and where it happens. I’m subscribing to y’all cause I can give y’all support. Be safe!
Johnny, you’re one tough young man. Way to go getting back on that mule before the hurtin’ stopped!
Thanks1 Thanks for watching!
I was dieing of laughter not because Johnny fell he’s a champ I was laughing because I couldn’t believe that he’s dad lagughed when Johnny fell he’s a brave kid with some big ⚽️⚽️ to get back on after he was bucked off
Johny is a tough one and man is he brave! Thanks for watching
It’s a good idea to get one used to the saddle first before you go getting on, that way if they need to buck you stand a better chance of riding them through it. It doesn’t have to be so risky, a world of good horsemanship opened up to me when I discovered Ray Hunt. Your horses and mules will be better, and your kids will be safer.
My feelings are the same regarding horsemanship and safety!
Thanks we will check him out!
@ sam Miller is this Samuel P from Vernon?

Hi guys. Great lesson with Navajo today. I've learned things about mules that I didn't know. I do know their fascinating animals. I see you have a herd of Angora Goats. I used to have a couple when I had a farm years ago as I'm a spinner and would combine their hair with sheep wool when spinning on my wheel.
The lady we got the angoras from used to spin. We haven't done that. Hopefully Navajo will calm down eventually. Thanks for watching
Way to go Johnny, your gonna be an awesome horse trainer and cowboy. Keep up the hard work
Poor Johnny! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tremendous respect for Johny! That was amazing to watch him get right back on, and in no time, Johny had regained his great disposition, showing he's a master at what he's learning to do. Zemira was also awesome in helping to calm and desensitize Navaho. All under your guidance, John. Where did you learn so much about these four-legged guys?
Poor Johnny, glad he didn't break anything.
