Autism runs in my Mother's family and I have it too.
When I think back to my relatives who have passed, it breaks my heart that they didn't know why they were different. I'm lucky, I do.
I was told by my Mother that I didn't speak at all until I was 3 years old.
I didn't mix very well, and I knew I thought differently to the other youngsters, I was using words and terms they didn't understand as I was advanced in vocabulary.
I enjoyed being with older people as I could speak on the same level.
I have repetitive behaviour and rituals.
I hate small talk, and I don't like people smiling at me as I don't always know why they are doing it.
I left school not knowing why I was different, but my discovery was such a relief.
The biggest lightbulb moment of my life.

Can autism also look like sadness from being stolen from mom and dad?

Actually it's not more likely for boys to develope ASD compared to girls. Its just more likely for boys to get diagnosed because the diagnosis criteria are written for males, while afab people are socialized different and mostly show ASD in a different way.

Why does the afe of the parent point to it being genetic the parents age when they had the child is an environmental factor.

It's more psychological - social development than Neuro - biological, AND it's a protective mechanism of the baby toddler child brain, as picked up and learned from their environment and caretakers. But, as a maladaptive disorder, such as signs and symptoms observed in elementary school - in the learning and socialization process - it becomes apparent that the individual is processing (or not) very differently from other children. Refer to the work, the writing and talks, by Dr. Gabor Maté.

He‘s misrepresenting autism there. Autism is not caused by trauma or other experiences a child has. But his thing is relating everything to trauma

The wording used here is cringe. Not "the kid". Use "the child" 🤦🏼‍♀️

People have their habits. It's very normal for neural typical people. There is no cure for this. So you have to get used to it.
