TMR's gotta be one of the most badass gamers ever. I admire your dedication to this NES library challenge. I'm sure beating this game has set you way ahead of the pack of any competitors reaching for the same goal of completing all NES games.

Wow, that's a shockingly robust piece of software for a NES game. You could actually learn piano from this. And not just kids! This is better than some PC programs I've seen that were made just a few years ago. To think of how much work went into this, and no one ever heard of it.
I actually owned it back in the day when I was a kid. Got as far as Section 23 but just lost interest after that and never played with it anymore. Ended up selling it a few years later for around 400 bucks which helped pay some bills at the time. Wish I had held onto the thing as it's pretty expensive now on the second hand market.

Oh my god... I watched the start of this live, that seemed really frustrating to figure out how it works on the basics.. And then I watch this - The timer doesn't look too bad until about halfway through.. And the just skyrockets. This insane and awesome. Good job TMR, you are truly a grandmaster :D

Ever used your Miracle Piano as a MIDI keyboard too? It can also be hooked up to a computer without a serial port by using a USB MIDI interface like UM-ONE. BTW, that was you first MIDI keyboard you ever got!
I had musical knowledge I play the flute. But as a musician you know it isn't easy to play most of those lessons with out hours and more hours of practice and coordination.
It would be so cool if someone hacked a rom of this to somehow include sheet music "game"play like in the video but with the chords and melodies from songs that appear in popular NES / SNES titles

that is music scores there, which are arrangement of the original versions so that is why there is nothing to claim with the copyright. And the fact that the sounds are not even the same from the original ones, no infringement at all I think.

I did real piano lessons and this is quite good for a videogame. you are dedicated! it is really hard especially without a teacher to train you well.
