I'm eagerly waiting for news on which couple S3 will focus on. As a #polin fan and avid reader of the book series 📚 E8 left too many unanswered questions, mixed the books storylines around. I'm hoping for Colin/Penelope because they've focused on them & brought key scenes from RMB into S2 but instead of with Pen & Colin, it's with Eloise which is strange 🤔
I didn't like very much the second season. They changed too much the plot and not for better. Many lines and scenes is unconvincing. And, unfortunately, Jonathan doesn't have charisma as Regé does. Sadness, joy, surprise tenderness and other feelings can be performed. But charisma is the only one that can't. The chemestry between Kate and Anthony is nothing compared with the Simon and Daphne one. And Daphne always alone, your husband always absent, even in Anthony marriage is weird and awkward. A fair story to be wachted one time. The first one season is to be seen thousand times. I have seen it about 10 times!
I agree with you, I wondered if I was the only one that liked Anthony in season 1 more, I kinda feel he had more chemistry with Sienna, just like Simon and Daphne had. Overall the second season didn't blow me away as much, maybe I had higher expectations after the spectacular first season? As for the changes, I've read the books a couple years ago, if not more, wish I had time to binge all 8 books now ;)
Totally agree..I thought the same..was rather disappointed at the end, and to not have Daphne with her husband there was wrong and so strange how the actor did not return to the show as all the others did.
@@lizsa3145 Would be better remove Phoebe too. They would be in their house in the country. The same about Mondrich. He was just a Simon's friend. Many problems in the plot.
Missed the duke's presence but personally it was the quite opposite for me. Kate's and Anthony's chemistry was much more tantalizing , and the slowburn was far more exciting than Daphne's and Simons love story. Rewatching season one after season 2 made me appreciate Kate's and Antony's chemistry that much more. Kate's personality really showed through in this season, I think that was something in the last season lacked with Daphne. I found the character development of Anthony to be one of the greatest things to come from this this season, from someone somewhat dislikeable from season 1 to understanding his history in season 2 and how different he is because of kate.

I think Anthony has loads of charisma. And chemistry with Kate.
