    Hopefully Bose will support this product in future years unlike what they did with us original L1 adopters. They screwed us and wouldn’t repair them. And they wouldn’t recommend an alternative repair center. And they wouldn’t provide a service manual. The big screw. Beware.

    I just purchased the S1 pro plus n I find it awesome. It’s really loud n I can’t put it to its full volume because it just way loud plus I don’t turn up the bass because it has enough bass without adding more to it. I got a mic Transmitter n it’s working great n I love it. I’m satisfied with this Bose It’s easy to operate not a lot of menu’s to deal with. It works for me. I’m sure which ever someone chooses they be happy. Great review!!

    Hey Man, thanks for this. Need your opinion. I have seen a few using the s1 pro+ to record their live performances. I know the pro+ allows you to stream live via pc/mac, so the video and audio are synced, and sent as one. Im wondering if you may have any suggestions, regarding the use the usb c port to stream, using a camera, or phone to record video and sound vis pro+? Im a bit confused myself, i know. Anyway im trying to wrap my head around how the pro+ can be connected to camera or phone, and sends the audio that (was mixed) by the pro+ and sending it with the video. Rather than recording the room sound. Its serving as an interface but confused on how to use camera or phone for the recording of the video, and pro+ to send the audio, synced, so I dont have to time the tracks appropriately in a daw, of some sort. Do I sound like I know what im talking about? Sometime I wonder. Im reaching out because Bose reps have no idea how to do this. Any help will be appreciated. lol

    Question since your hands on. Does that mean that you can technically connect that one wireless microphone on slot 1 but also connect another microphone on that same slot using an XLR connection? So that’s technically 2 microphones being used in the first slot, correct?

      @@cduemig1 I own both the S1 Pro (older model) and the Everse 8, and you are right: The mic preamps (and overall sound quality and flexibility) are superior to those on the Bose. However, if people like the overall sound and form factor of the Bose, they can get more out of it by carefully choosing which vocal mic to use. It can make a huge difference, not only in gain, but also in vocal clarity. I tended to use an AKG on it that has a bit of the „chest“ sound of the SM58, but is far clearer in the upper mids and treble. That helps the S1 Pro jump to life, and get louder at the same time.

    • @cduemig1
      @cduemig1 Год назад +1

      @@scottbecker3485 The S1 Peo is a great speaker. For ceremonies though I either used an external mixer or wireless mic that has higher gain. I really like the preamps on the Everse eliminating that need. Even my JBL Eon One Mk2 has the same preamp problem. I used to keep the S1 Pro in my truck at all times for backup and being able to play music anywhere. Plenty of times it’s come in handy. The Everse isn’t that much bigger but it’s enough I don’t carry it as much. What really killed the Bose for me was the battery. At an event in the winter the battery refused to charge.

      @scottbecker3485 Год назад +1

      @@jeffmilkeyThe Everse 8 doesn‘t disappoint. I have transitioned to it from the older Bose S1 Pro, though I still kept the Bose because it‘s such a great speaker in and of itself, and I might want to pair it up with the Everse one day. The Everse, however, has a far more transparent sound (with extensive EQ adjustability to taste), compression on each channel, more reverb options… All in all it‘s a superior product for about the same money. If the wireless options of the new Bose were tossed in for free, I‘d get one just to have that option for certain situations. But when you tack on the price of the transmitters, you‘re talking big bucks just to go wireless, and that with only 2.4 GHz, as you point out. Won‘t float my boat at that price point, so Everse is my weapon of choice. Incidentally, the sound of the original Bose (same as the new one, they say) has its own coloration - a very appealing one, but not easy to tweak for greater transparency. The Everse lets me once again hear more subtleties, plus go deeper in the bass. Also delighted that all my great mics actually sound like themselves through the Everse, which wasn‘t the case of the one-size-fits-all sound of the Bose.
