I got the most out of Construct 3 in 3D

- In this video, I made my largest 3D game on Construct 3. I've improved the mechanics from my previous videos: 3D Shooter in Construct 3 and 3D Racing game in Construct 3. I'll show you all this in less than 4 minutes.

personally, i think construct 3 is great for ps1 style 3d games, its not the best but its easy to make a 3d game using Construct 3!
I think Construct 3 is the perfect 3d solution for the revitalization of boomer shooters. Rather than faking the "boomer shooter" look. That's the actual output of the engine. everything has its purpose I think
after the company chose to have construct 3 online, this made the developers lose their charm for the tool. Since there are others with more action options without limitations. Construct 3 made a big mistake in limiting too much the amount of events and pages where the free developer can use it. Not to mention that they hid the syntax of programming commands very well.

I miss the pokemon videos you developed. Creates a model non-shift or better. It has a turn to defend and a turn to attack.

This is pretty cool! I remade Baldi's Basics in my own style in construct 3D with zero plugins and it was pretty cool. I think construct 3's 3D can be powerful if you know how to use it!

I solved all the issues you encountered in this video in my project to test out the features for first person shooting and driving of 3 days and I can say for a fact you DID NOT get the most out of construct in 3D.

Construct 3, gdevelop is wayyyy harder to navigate and most of the models are payed
how did you make the buildings high, for me they are short, and how to do skybox please!
If you want to make the buildings higher, you need to select the object and increase the z height in the window on the left.
To make the skybox, I took a 3d sky cube and scaled it up a lot. Ideally, skybox should be done on a separate layer so that you can make the layer invisible at any time and nothing interferes with working with other layers.
@@fillred7516 how did you add terrain? and gui?
for gui I created a separate layer and selected 2d rendering mode for it, and terrain is just a tiled background. You can see the creation process in detail in my other video about fps on construct 3. The video is only 4 minutes long and in the description there is a link to a file with the game.

you could probably cheat with pre-rendered 3d
could you show in more detail how to make the enemy shoot at you?
I created a 2D sprite that always follow the enemy and at every 2.5 seconds it generates the bullet in my direction. I couldn't do this directly on the 3DShape of the enemy.
Construct is definitely not 3D engine and don't even try to be. It has some 3D stuff to enhance 2D games but you can't make 3D game. "Says idiot that is making 2.5D arcade racing game and abusing 3D of Construct"
