KRAZEDSNAKEY, I totally agree with you.....I worked for TIGI for almost 8 years stateside and had the privilege of meeting and working with Gary on 2 occasions for our larger U.S. shows when he came over.......Humble is an understatement....just one hell of a good guy, always willing to share, and an absolute inspiration to be around....you are so right when you say that some people are brave and hide behind their keyborads.....
Ive worked at toni and guy, were not slow, you have to remeber this is a training dvd, Also Toni And Guy are extremely proud of their world class training
To all u people that have slagged this haircut off ,well,,, when u can cut as good as Gary France come back and talk to me!!! I bet not 1 of u have won anything.he is the best hairdresser and a very nice man. He made me who I am today THANK YOU
It doesn't matter what awards he's won or how nice he is. This is a horrible cut. It does not flatter the model; neither is it appropriate for her hair texture. He hacked off completely the sides, extending even into the back, and then simply over-directed the fringe to the crown. All the techniques and lengths were misplaced. Delivering such a criticism isn't an indictment on the man's craft.
I love all these comments from people so brave behind their keyboards. Gary France has been the driving force behind Toni & Guy for years and is about one of the most humble guys you could wish to meet.Love the comments about it looking like a mullet. How about he just cuts a square layer or a layered bob. Would that make you happy? The idea of these videos is to take inspiration, dilute it down and make it work for your clients. What have you ever done to push hairdressing forwards
It's an amazing shape with amazing execution. Those who don't get it just don't get it. Take a class or two people, and I don't mean off of RUclips. Obviously you haven't been exposed to this level of technique.
I have already browse the tutorial Haircut Here in Facebook and One thing that I've notice usually they place the scissor in Index Finger and I've have not seen that kind of Scissor here in Philippines Where can I buy That?
I understand, however I would like to see them develop and demonstrate cutting techniques on and for other hair types. I feel they neglect the beautiful styles that can be created with other hair types. I think they're limiting themselves by only working with fine hair, that's all. Plus I actually think fine hair is really limited to blunt, asymmetric cuts, they need to change it up a bit.
I do not feel the colourist too slow, specially because it is a tutorial. But I really do not like this silvery colour on the top. It is looks like a bit too bleached. Otherwise the haircut is great, I love the shape.
i dont agree with TheBigMemz, that's something a crap hairdresser would say! U can't hide a shitty haircut just by styling it, once the client tries to do it at home they will find out!
I love Toni & Guy but why do they always demonstrate cuts and styles on models with fine hair? All their techniques seem to be developed for this hair type only, I can't imagine this or any other of their cuts working on thick, wavy or frizzy hair. Fine hair is generally easier, of course all the models look good.
