- Today, on Episode 67 of our Big Bull series, we're welcoming Prasad Lendwe, who wears multiple hats as an investor and a content creator who analyzes data about companies that are either listed on the stock market or not yet listed.
In this Stock Market Podcast, we talked about what happens when companies decide to go public with an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and if there are any problems within the company. Prasad Lendwe says that they try to review every company that plans to launch an IPO. Because of this, they have received many legal notices.
He shared an experience from the past when, in 2021, a company launched its IPO. At that time, he noticed many problems with the company's management and finances.
Upon investigation, it was found that a large amount of money was being transferred to the directors' fathers, and the company was paying a lot of money to rental owners. However, the company didn't address these issues and just ended the discussion there.
Many big companies also do such wrong things, but discussions about them often get suppressed or ended by the company. Prasad believes that the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) thinks that the way money is being raised by keeping securities, it is increasing the subscription rate of many IPOs.
For instance, after analyzing data, it was found that any main board IPO gets subscribed 8-9 times within 2 days, increasing the chances of it being listed to more than 95%.
Normal people often only look at profit and subscription rates before investing, but there's a lot more happening behind the scenes that people don't pay attention to. To understand investment and fundamentals of companies, watch the full video.

If I remember clearly He is talking about EaseMyTrip planner.
I didn’t applied in IPO after watching his video. I didn’t knew till now that same ipo video is not available now. Reason is in video.
I just check cash flow of EaseMyTrip and guess what he is right. Company is is negative cash flow.
