Anyone that put Florida on the schedule 10 years ago would be, well that is probably a loss. SEC and BIG10 have so much money, so when a team beats an SEC or BIG team, it's has defeated one of the top 40 most wealthy teams. Even loyally Purdue has more money than most of the other teams not in the SEC and BIG. Ross Aid stadium is nearly full for every home game this season.

Notre Dame does not have control over zone schedule to certain degree. They required to play five ACC games a year for their other sports to be a part of a conference. We voluntarily chose to play FSU who was undefeated last year thinking they’d at least be a six and 473 team this year, Louisville is always really good for an ACC team. Everyone cries the Notre Dame doesn’t play a conference when they’re actually playing in a partial conference with the ACC with the required five games and if I’m correct, Notre Dame is 27 to join partial conference games 27 wins three losses ACC in the last four or five years.
Yes, but so is Texas.....
At the end of the day PSU does not have a bad loss. These 2 loss SEC teams do. There is the answer
Oh look, the SEC brought to you by the big10 thinks the big10 is overrated, shocker lol
Accidentally came here looking for the upload about SEC Men's Basketball teams being ranked too high. they did pick Purdue and Indiana 1-2 and neither are in the top 10 although the two have owned SEC teams head-to-head thus far. Where is that upload. Just stop already. 😂
Ah the sec where teams complain that just because they played tough teams and lost they should be in. Fact is if Georgia couldn’t beat Tennessee at home they wouldn’t deserve to be in. Yes ik they beat Texas but Texas hasn’t beat anyone either😂
Well Georgia beat Tennessee so now you bozos can stop crying about these hypothetical scenarios 😂
The Big Ten is the best, for years ESPN and the final 4 BCS favored teams from the SEC, that is a fact and cannot be denied. Cry me a river SEC Pee on you. Maybe every BIG TEN team should PLAY Mercer sometime at the end of their season. Cry Cry Cry.
Or maybe kent state? Or bowling green? Or Purdue
@kanashii2 Colorado could be every team in the SEC, I'm Deion Sanders and I've paid for this message. Lol 😆
@@kanashii2 what do you mean by bowling green? SEC A&M and B10 Penn State both scheduled them
Wow, I can't believe the revisionist history from the SEC guys.
Ain’t no party like a diddy party? Right Penn St?
REALITY SEC is not going to have 6 teams in playoffs. They will only get 4. What is your 2 teams that will be left out??
1 Texas, 2 Alabama, 3 Ol' Miss, 4 Georgia, 5 Tenn, 6 Texas A&M.
I think currently it's Tenn and Texas A&M will be out if everyone wins out in those top 4 teams.
BUT!!
If Georgia Tech beats Georgia. Georgia is OUT
If Alabama loses to Auburn. Alabama is OUT!
If Florida beats Ol' Miss. Ol' Miss is OUT!
If Texas loses to Texas A&M that could turn it upside down. depending on Sec Championship.
Actually georgia strength 9f schedule is 17
they are 1
Not high enough should be ahead of Texas.
Penn State vs top 4 OSU close game/close score
Texas vs top 4 Georgia not close game/not close score
Penn State at Wisconsin 28-13
Oregon at Wisconsin 16-13
Illinois is a ranked team/should be #15
Only Georgia OSU played harder sch Alabama Miss played a little harder and lost to bad teams.
Everyone else played weak sch and lost to bad teams/notre dame byu Miami Boise state.
Byu is so disrespected its not even funny how are they behind miami, smu (who they beat), and boise. Not saying they have a crazy good resume but they did dominate k state and they beat smu who is the favorite to win the acc.
The Final CFP will look like this; () is the ACTUAL CFP SEEDING: 1) Ohio St 2) Texas 3 (5) Notre Dame 4 (6) Oregon 5 (7) Penn St 6 (8) Indiana 7(9) Alabama 8 (3) Miami 9 (4) Colorado 10 Ol' Miss 11 Georgia 12 Boise St
It will change IF ....
SMU beats Miami. SMU is in Miami is OUT
BYU beats Colorado. BYU is IN Colorado is OUT
Notre Dame loses to Army. Army is in if tehy stay undefeated. ND OUT
Georgia Tech beats Georgia. Georgia is OUT SEC 5 is in
Florida beats Ol' Miss. Ol' Miss is OUT SEC 5 is in
Alabama loses to rival Auburn. Bama is OUT SEC 5 is in.
Texas Loses to Texas A & M. That changes everything in SEC top 4. stay tuned.
THEY WILL NOT HAVE MORE THAN 4 SEC teams. TWO- 2 Lose SEC teams will be going bowling. Your delusional to think ANY 3-loss team will make it.
SEC are always crying! This is how teams get racked so deal with it! How can you put a team in there with multiple losses and expect them to pass a team with less losses that’s been ranked in the top 10 all year? You sound like a broken record
Who is better, Indiana or Texas? Case solved!
Note to PSU fans: ESPN is not an honest broker when it comes to the Lions - going back to the hit job they did on Paterno because he spoke at George HW Bush’s convention. Their biased today, yesterday and will be tomorrow.
The football schedules are put together around 10 years in advance. Nothing can really be balanced. No way 10 years ago that Georgia knew this would be the toughest schedule in college football, same for Indiana. Yeah, you can put what looks like a "cupcake," but who knows what happens between now and 10 years down the road.
Only about 3 to 5 years in advance but they try for ten
Penn State beat itself. Ohio state didn’t beat them. They had chances, just didn’t put them away.
That taunting penalty was the difference between a punt and a touchdown. Dude thought he was Allen Iverson, but ended up costing them the game
Actually it’s more the reverse. OSU beat itself many times during the game and it could have been a 14-21 point victory. Penn State never really had the chance to win, even though they got out to a 10 point lead,
Ohio St’s turnovers is literally what kept Penn St in the game because Penn St’s offense only put up 6pts( 2 FG’s ) vs Ohio St’s defense..
@@charliegriffey7773 you must be an Ohio State fan, OSU looked like the better team but PSU quite literally left 21 points on the field… (two drives inside the 5 that resulted in 0 points and the taunting penalty that resulted in an OSU touchdown)…
huh? Ohio State gave Penn State 7 and fumbled a td away. you’re delusional 🤣
Cry me a river. Like a 2 loss Georgia isn't going to make it to the CFB playoffs. It's not happening, they will be in. Penn State can win out and probably will be closer to the 6 or 7 spot. They will get jumped by some teams. I expect Ole Miss to make it too. BTW - Where is all the whining about Notre Dame being ranked that high? Their schedule isn't great either and that NIU loss is bad.
Notre dame is jumping Penn state after they beat army and blow out USC
No they’re not. Those wins aren’t needle movers.
Comparing a loss to Ohio State vs a loss to northern Illinois is hilarious 😂
PSU would destroy Bama, Georgia, Tennese, and A&M.................
We’ll find out soon enough
Probably
I hope this is bait.
Loooooooooooolllll.
In what world???? When was the last time they beat a team with a strong pulse???
Always has been
Big Ten heavily overrated also First
you’re just some random person no one knows why should we take you seriously 🤣
Incorrect.
True
True
Sec is overrated too. Every team in the afc north would destroy every team in the SEC
Arkansas lost to oklahoma state, they suck and lsu is no longer a good win, neother is missouri
Sos is fake.
ESECPN
Let’s not for get it was Penn State that outplayed OSU where refs were terrible and still had 1st and goal indoe 5 two time and 0 pts that’s not OSU doing really good that’s int was good and the second one was pi another call refs let OSU get away with/there was 9 pi and holdings not called and a ridiculous unsportsmanlike that gave OSU the lead otherwise PSU is ahead whole 2nd half not them.
Yes that’s why ranking people have loss to topm4 teams by 7 pts as better then winning against a top 5-15 team.
What did Texas do in top 4 vs top 4 Georgia not close 27-7 with 30-15 final score.
Penn State should be higher then Texas.
So based on yall logic just give the SEC 8 slots and 1 slot to each conference champ out side the SEC 🫠. At some point winning on the field has to matter. Strength of schedule should come into play when looking at the odd man out or in.
Ask Nebraska, Washington, USC, UCLA how easy it is to play in the Big 10. These were major programs that fell apart in Big 10 games.
