Hi, Earlier Bolex cameras did not have the lever mechanism for easy spool removal. As far as I know the spools were just carefully pulled off the spindles. This obviously makes it a little awkward and care must be taken not to distort the spools. Kind regards Colin
Hi, Colin. Bit of a long shot here, but I don't suppose you know how to remove the spools on an older model with no spring lever to 'pop them off'? As far as I can tell the serial number is 8095, so one of the very early models. There is no discernible lever or mechanism for removing the spools as there is in this video.
