    Very helpful. I used zip ties on outside (left facing) to hold back. I like idea of insulating. Thanks

      Sorry I missed your message. You probably have it fixed by now, but if not it’s the climate control actuator arm. Part number is 5133441AA.

    are there any higher level problems with this staying shut, in terms of issues it might cause now that it's permanently not opening?

      Jon some may argue that leaving it shut will not allow enough fresh air into the cabin, causing potential issues for stale air. I do not think this is an issue with the t1n's as they aren't sealed up very well to begin with, and you can also crack a window every once in a while as well if you are worried about it being on recirculate too much.
