    After throwing away numerous washing machines over the years, since iv started building and flying drones, planes ect. Iv decided to remove the motors from them now before scraping. Thinking there's bound to be a use for it. But never knew how to power it. But now I do. Thanks. Just need to decide what to do with it? Go kart or kids project? Who knows.

      This kind of wiring is forxong the motor to go full speed not indicated for long periods of time is just for testing purposes you will need a dedicated speed controller to start it slow and then full speed browse to my videos find speed controller on washing machine motor

    great video, I am trying to wire up a motor and cap, a friend gave me with no luck. the motor is a 110v whirlpool #w10416660fsp it has 4 wires green white yellow red . I can get the motor to run by jump starting it but it will not start on its own with the capasitor, the cap tests good. have checked the resistance across the wire here are the findings. white and yellow=8,white and red=8, red and yellow=11 can you tell me how to wire this motor, thanks.

    • @NoSkillsRequired
      @NoSkillsRequired  6 лет назад

      check for continuity as well between all the wires,if you have the capacitor it probably means that is wired different and will not work without capacitor if you give the motor a spin will it run? send a picture with the wires and connection demiwattuk@gmail.com to see if is the same with the one from the video all the best

    Hello i have a question. I accidentally wired the tack wires to 240v (i thought that thats the right way to do xd) and than a small electric lighting happened. So my question is that if i would do as you did it will work or i just burnt down the whole motor? pls help me i need your help!
