The fastest lap time was broken last weekend but the tyres were not official for the track record. A time of 40.665 was achieved with fresh Yokahamas by Karting Maniacs London on a standard twin 160 Evo kart. However if Rye House choose to switch for Yokohamas for normal rental use, the record will be ratified.
@@ianmitchell9102 42.7 in my first 45 mins of racing, kart lost an engine only managed 43.3 in the next kart, felt good for my first time but here's a brief video of something else I took part in as well as the rye house 3hrs ruclips.net/video/Co0OjQJ47nU/видео.html From 14 mins onwards
@@nm-1-m159 thanks mate, I’ll take a look at that and let you know my times. I’m about 105kg and my mates 90kg Out best times at Buckmore Park are 53.000 for my mate and 53.454 for me, have you been to Buckmore ?
@@ianmitchell9102 yeah I'm currently 75kg kitted, set 1.12.0s at Milton Keynes, low 51s at buckmore, indoor tracks I'm current record holder for 75kg+ at teamsport docklands, fastest London entry at last teamsport tournament in dunstable, can't remember my best laps from other outdoor tracks I've been too but rye house was my first time and I felt good with that 42.7 but that 40.66 was on different tyres I believe but still for a non weighted event it felt pretty good to only be a second off the fastest lap of the race my first time at the track
it had been 3 years since i last went karting and decided to come here with some mates. started pissing it down 2 minutes into the race. had a fucking great time
It depends, typically rental karts go up to 30-50 mph indoors but it won’t really hit that high because it’s not a long enough straight away. But these outdoor karts can most likely hit those numbers.
@@ieatsunchips yh see normally when ive done indoors karts ive clocked them at 45mph with my phone recording the speed. This video of these marts look absolutely rapid so just wondered how fast they was roughly in mph.
That track wasn’t wet. I was racing that day. The track surface generally looks shiny especially at night but is grippy. This was for the Super 90 Championship at Rye House and none of the races for this championship have been wet so far
Went here yesterday with family and their work colleagues, what an experience loved every second of the race, can’t wait to do karting again.
Hit every apex 👌🏻 Nice lap
