Congratulations on a very special beautiful car, and thanks to your dad for the great job! I have to share my own 79 Trans Am story with you. It was 1979 and I was 17 years old and a die hard Pontiac fan. I drove by our local Pontiac dealer and there sat a 1979 10th anniversary Trans Am, the two tone silver and gray one. My mom was with me and I had to stop and look at it. I was literally drooling on the car when the owner came out and said “wanna take it for a ride”? Needless to say I accepted his offer and I’ll never forget that brief ride in a new Trans Am. The 79 has always been special to me. As a quick side note, I ran into the son of the dealer a few years back and we were talking about the car, turned out that he never sold it and still owned it! Enjoy yours, it’s a beauty!

I wanted one with gold trim like yours but for some reason people think they're worth Bugatti money. Mine is black with the silver decals with red. I found a survivor car with just over 35k miles on it. Interior is mint. Cloth seats. But needs some mechanical work the brakes, a/c is cycling but not blowing cold, needs new window felt, petty stuff like that. I hoping you're enjoying your ride.

My dad had a 79 in coco brown with T tops. Loved that car. It was his mid life crisis if I remember right.

I would absolutely love to see a 65 charger bc there’s not many out there anymore. And a 68 firebird! My two favorite classics!!!
