Congratulations on a very special beautiful car, and thanks to your dad for the great job! I have to share my own 79 Trans Am story with you. It was 1979 and I was 17 years old and a die hard Pontiac fan. I drove by our local Pontiac dealer and there sat a 1979 10th anniversary Trans Am, the two tone silver and gray one. My mom was with me and I had to stop and look at it. I was literally drooling on the car when the owner came out and said “wanna take it for a ride”? Needless to say I accepted his offer and I’ll never forget that brief ride in a new Trans Am. The 79 has always been special to me. As a quick side note, I ran into the son of the dealer a few years back and we were talking about the car, turned out that he never sold it and still owned it! Enjoy yours, it’s a beauty!
Looks really good Scott congratulations to you and your dad. Just have one question the corner of the hood on the passenger side needs to be adjusted. It’s sticking up once you see it and can’t stop looking at it.
Who cares, if he was my father my car was continously pimped and refreshed everytime I was in the mood to change color, Rims, suspension set-up, engine, interiors...
That car is absolutely beautiful, your dad is so awesome bro! Please cherish every second that you’re with him! I lost my father before I graduated from high school.
Fantastic job on the TA!!! I had a '74 Black Monte Carlo with swivel bucket seats my father rebuilt for me, and like a fool, I sold it when I was in my mid 20's, not knowing what I had. I wish I had that car back... I still regret that decision. That TA is a car to keep forever. Cherish it and your dad.
Your old man works fast. Nice job reminds me of my buddies car. He also went with the same wheels from Year One which are absolutely perfect for the TA. Ithink he also did a crate engine from Year One which I believe was actually smaller then the 400 but more powerful. I think it was a poked and stroked 350.
I had a 77 firebird back in 77 and it was constantly breaking something. Great looking car tho'. Its great you and your Dad did something together. I lost my Dad back in the 80s and sure wish I have had more time with him. Thats kind of the point of the video and I get it.
I was in Kentucky today and this lil old lady stopped me at a gas station. She needed wiper fluid and was on oxygen. She even offered me the coins as I handed her the change. I was glad to help but her reaction was priceless. I’m from Louisiana and say sir and yes ma’am
Wow!! Your dad does amazing work!!! That's one of my favorite cars ever made. You got a beauty there Scott. Way to go pops. I like how ya'll kept it original.
He does so good work. I love working on old cars like that. I'm currently finishing off a 1959 vett, and a frame off restore on a 66 2door hard top impala
My brother back in the day used to own a 72 gremlin...... he dropped a 400 big block in it with a five speed transmission with a Positrac rear end.........That thing was a beast of a racer and it was awesome I think you should do one of those
Turned out great. Your dad has some skills for sure. Father/son projects are the best. My dad and I restored a 1970 Charger rt/se 25 years ago,,,,,, it's still in my garage. Never selling that car.
Scott the car is amazing, big props to your dad. I was born in 79 and grew up wanting one..... guess what I bought this weekend? A black 79 trans am. I wanted one with gold trim like yours but for some reason people think they're worth Bugatti money. Mine is black with the silver decals with red. I found a survivor car with just over 35k miles on it. Interior is mint. Cloth seats. But needs some mechanical work the brakes, a/c is cycling but not blowing cold, needs new window felt, petty stuff like that. I hoping you're enjoying your ride.
You make awesome content, dont get me wrong it is top notch. That said, what brings me back every time is that yall just seem like genuinely great guys.
OH BROTHER, does your dad not have a CHANNEL OF HIS OWN! He seems to have a certain talent that should!!!! Id love to see all the things he has done in the car modification arena. He seems like the old school guy a lot of us could learn from.
Anyone who would put a thumbs down on this video or who will nit pick work done has no idea how difficult it is to do the kind of job that Scott and his dad have done. Me and my pops have always worked on cars together and it is a gift to be able to do that and complete your dream car.... congrats Scott’s
Absolutely no. The elcamino was a beater, too far gone for a full restoration. The engine in it makes it good to trash around doing burnouts and that's it. Scott's T/A is a beauty, he only needs to make the hood a better fit
That thing is sweet !! He does some class A work. This and a old school fast back mustang are literally the BEST looking vehicles out there. They look mean and beautiful at the same time
Gotta love youtube. Says there is one view and 7 likes. Edit: Congrats on the car scott it looks amazing and reminds me of my dad's when he was younger
I own a ‘79 Solar Gold T/A with only 80,000 original miles. Best car I have EVER owned! If you DON’T WANT a LOT of attention…one of these cars is NOT for you! Yours looks FANTASTIC!
It’s good to see you driving it and having fun with it. The younger guys want an old schools so bad, but old people driving the prices up just to let them sit in a garage.
Your dad done An amazing job with that car, that’s amazing!!! Always loved watching the bandit get chased in his, one of my favorite movies of all time. Keep up the awesome projects, can’t wait to see the next one.

1984 im jr in high school my buddy buys a 79 ta we did 150mph over a brand new bridge with 5 people in the car, love the the posi in those things fun car!
That is a seriously amazing car. Lot of love and passion went into restoration of this automotive gem. Massive respect to your Dad Scott he is a genius.
That is absolutely beautiful!!! Since he likes and obviously does excellent work on the Trans Am , my absolute favorite year is the 1976 Trans Am, last year for the round head lights. What a awesome dad. My dad had a 76 that’s the first car I remember
Looks amazing and sounds great! It's fantastic that you have your dream car and that your Dad helped make this dream come true for you. PLEASE DO NOT SWAP THE ENGINE!!

Chevrolet impala? Or Ford thunderbird?
🎶East bound and down, Loaded up and truckin, are we gonna do what they say cant be done🎶

Let’s see a ‘74 F250 2WD done up real nice..... Mine to be exact. 😁
Amc pacer
Got to do a square body Chevy truck now. Also, why does your dad look like he had you a 8 years old?
Shout out to Scott's Dad for being such a great Dad
Me and all my friends are voting for you for prom king. With that car you're sure to win. 🔥🔥🔥
Nothing like a boy and his dad restoring a car. No matter what the percentage of each contributor or age of each. It's always a memory!
Awesome....Thanks Scott & Scott....!
The dash and the digital speedometer and tac just makes it so much more sweet
Looks like I’m not the only one that doesn’t care about this years halftime show!
There was a game today? Who won? Braves or Spurs?
Tacocin 😂😂😂
🖕 the super bowl all together. There's better things to watch
If the Crimson Tide's not playing then I'm not interested.
Oh yeah, that. I used to watch that when it mattered.
The digital instruments looks amazing with the new gold bezel 😊
No it’s not. The 9mm gatlin gun is not mounted on top yet.
"sad noises"
I want to see it on the Argo.
He would probably do it if 9mm wasnt so expensive right now
No he needs a GAU-8 AVENGER
Hmm. How about a James Bond version out of the headlight?

one just sold at auction for $200k....
The title for this video could’ve easily been “World’s greatest dad”, simply outstanding!
The wheels and and the digital gauges work so well with this car. I'd love to see a 55 chevy bel air restoration.
That looks gorgeous, I wanted one like that when I was young. Scott’s dad is awesome
This car is banned from ever going to the range. LOL 😂
YEP
Or near demo ranch

Sometimes that's what happens when you buy an aftermarket hood
As a technician it’s the first thing I saw. My eyes!
