Listing to Lt Cdr Bijay Nair Sir I had a realization that I have listened someone else talking exactly the same way, I tried remembering then I realized who it was. I am a NCC cadet and few days back during our NCC class we had a special guest who was an ex-NCC cadet from our college. Right now he is a Garud Cammando in IAF and what a personality he was, like totally one of a soilder and I guess that's where the resemblance comes from. A week spent with him was truly memorable and we got to learn so much from him.

My dad was one of the few navy chaps who was actually on the frontline, he was flying off the Karachi coast picking up electronic signals. Having said that the navy did absolutely nothing when you compare to Army or the Air force.
You can't say that... Remove any wing of defence and you'll see india crumbling... All 3 have their role and importance... It cannot be compared in a logical sense

How many men did the navy lose? How much damage did they have to face? The AF lost atleast half a dozen men along with 3-4 airframes and the army lost 527 men.

First read about Captain Saurabh Kalia in a book named "Kargil-The Untold Stories from the War" by Mrs. Rachna Bisht Rawat mam. Literally I had tears in my eyes after reading his story. Pakistani Army is one such army with no ethics and morals. After the Kargil war finished the Pakistani Army didn't have the guts to accept their fallen soldiers. It is the Indian army which gave the fallen Pakistani soldiers burial with full military honors.

@@julietoscaryankee3000 i mean my dad himself says this so i don't really think i can agree with you, he had his advance training with one of the AF chaps that was shot down in the same war and lost many of his coursemates from the army. How many men did the navy lose? How much damage did they have to face? The AF lost atleast half a dozen men along with 3-4 airframes and the army lost 527 men.

First read about Captain Saurabh Kalia in a book named "Kargil-The Untold Stories from the War" by Mrs. Rachna Bisht Rawat mam. Literally I had tears in my eyes after reading his story. Pakistani Army is one such army with no ethics and morals. After the Kargil war finished the Pakistani Army didn't have the guts to accept their fallen soldiers. It is the Indian army which gave the fallen Pakistani soldiers burial with full military honors.
