    If you are still looking for a water proof backpack, get a simms dry creek bag. I went through 3 cheap waterproof bags before I spent the money on a good pack and I havent looked back. I can fit my skydio 2 inside the 35l easily with everything else. It even has a net holset. The zipper is unbreakable and the pvc coating is very durable. There is also a lifetime warranty . The also have smaller packs and slings in the dry creek line up

    • @driftstone
      @driftstone  2 года назад

      Hi Doug, I will sometimes add split shot to add weight, but I'm most usually trying to get my flies down into the strike zone (down near the bottom where the current is slower). So whatever depth that may be plus the speed of the current will tell me how much weight I need.
