    Dear Edip..
i have been trying to tell the same thing to some of my relatives... but they started calling me "Kaffir" lol... at-least my father is open minded, thank Allah!
I think ANYONE who is "Muslim" wont follow hadith because we DONT NEED THEM!
nor are we commanded to do so... I hear many things from fellow muslims which THEY forbid but are NOT ACTUALLY FORBIDDEN! And they do Zinah, fornicate, take riba, steal, eat haram foods etc without any problem...weird isnt it??

I really appreciate these videos Edip. You have this uncanny knack of putting everything into perspective. I will never view the hadiths in the same light again. I have both the books you mentioned and will be ordering "War Mongers" today. What an obnoxious person this Robert Spencer is. A real piece of work! Did you mention wanting to debate with Imam Tawhidi? That would be something!

@@edipyuksel I don't know Imam Tawhidi personally. Sorry if I gave you that impression. I've only seen him being interviewed and in debates. He seems to be equally critical of the hadiths. Btw, I liked what you said at the beginning of your Why Quran Alone? video (Part 1) about not wearing a turban or having a long beard, with slaves by your side. Lol. I'm just a Project Worker for a local charity in Hastings, England and almost retired. I am English but have worked in the Kurdish community here for many years and have visited a Kurdish friend in Istanbul on two occasions. He is originally from Kayseri. 14:33 And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.
(This shows the sun and moon are moving not the earth)
2:150 And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-Al-Haram (at Makkah), and wheresoever you are, turn your faces towards it (when you pray) so that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers, so fear them not, but fear Me! - And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided.
( So if the earth is a globe how would I face Mecca if I live on the other side of the globe in say Brazil?)
13:02 Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see. Then, He rose above (Istawa) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running (its course) for a term appointed. He manages and regulates all affairs; He explains the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.
(God is telling us the sun and Moon are moving and not the earth)
13:03 And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers and of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnain (two in pairs - may mean two kinds or it may mean: of two varieties, e.g. black and white, sweet and sour, small and big). He brings the night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidence, lessons, signs, etc.) for people who reflect.
      ( You can´t spread out a globe)
2:22 Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped).
( The earth is resting and the sky as a canopy relate to a dome)
18:47 And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind.
( If we flatten the mountains then the earth would be a flat plane)
21:32 And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.).
      ( roof like dome)
21:33 And He it is Who has created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orbit floating.
(Because within the dome you will find the sun and moon floating)
27:61 Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water)? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but most of them know not!
( God is telling us the earth is fixed)
27:61 Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water)? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but most of them know not!
(This clearly shows that the earth doesn´t move)
31:29 See you not (O Muhammad ) that Allah merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night are added to the hours of the day), and merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of day are added to the hours of night), and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
( Modern science will tell us that we are moving and the sun is still)
35:13 He merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added to the hours of the day), and He merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added to the hours of the night). And He has subjected the sun and the moon: each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date-stone).
( What is God telling us what is moving?)
36:38 And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
(Again God is telling us that the sun is running)
36:40 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.
(This is quite clear within its self)
39:05 He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
(No where in the Quran does it tell us the earth is moving)
43:10 Who has made for you the earth like a bed, and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way.
      (beds are flat not round)
51:48 And We have spread out the earth: how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!
      ( Spread out flat)

Which Qur'an recitation do you recite? Hafs? Warsh? Qaloon?" Which one do you recite and why not the others? If you recite the others (ie. if even accept the others), then tell me if the Qur'an anywhere states that it was revealed in different ahruf and/or qira'aat.
Additionally, what’s the point of a book being sent to mankind over a period of time, if we weren’t supposed to see the implementation of it by way of an example (Messenger)?
You have an excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for all who put their hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Allah much. (Surat al-Ahzab :21)
Obviously, the best way to follow the Quran is by way of the example given to us (Muhammad peace be upon him). I know you don’t use Hadith, but surely you can’t possibly think you understand Islam more than those who heard it directly from the prophet peace be upon him while he was alive. So why do you not want to hear about your prophet peace be upon him?
Ibn Mas‘ood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One of us would learn ten verses then he would not move on (and learn more) until he understood their meaning and put them into practice. Narrated by at-Tabari in his Tafseer (1/80); its isnaad was classed as saheeh

interpetations from ancient texts who can be endlessly interpetated, so that eventually there are a thousands of meanings of the text are not good enough in my opinion to proof that a religion is right.I think that a supernatural being would not play around like this, he could just wright this whole book in the sky or by his powers he could wright the whole Quran in nature itself, that would be a real wonder. After all i respect the message only i find it hard to convince myself believing it.

I have so many questions on this (god) subject.
For instance why would ''god'' play games with humans who he have created.
Like talking to 1 guy in a long period of time, who has to convince the whole world of humanity that he had some revelations from ''god'' and because of this everybody has to follow these rules.
I find it very vague and i personally believe in a supernatural force, only i can hardly swallow his ''methods'' through revelation.
    Why playing around..

Did he not talk anything? We see the remarks of Jesus and Moses in the Bible. Where are the speeches, remarks, dialogues, discourses, conversations, explanations of the prophet Muhammed? My opinion is about the same as your's on this subject.
And i want to ad that people who are following all the hadith's are not ready yet for real science and reasoning because they only follow the footsteps of their forefathers. They are slaves of false dogma and cover there personality with strange rituals and traditions. My question to you is wich website would you refer me to for science in the Qu'ran, necause i found out that allot of these claims where in fact false.

  • @Dimanto22
    @Dimanto22 11 лет назад

only why are there so many different meanings, it really confuses me..yes i know that the Arabic language is difficult to translate, but if this is all true(the scientific claims)there would be more scientists who back up these claims by supporting it's divinity or the miraculous nature of the book.
I mean people are just to easy to indoctrinate history shows, and it is showed all around us that there are very intelligent people who are convincing alot of people with there claims.

in your reformist translation of the Quran there are mistakes of pronouns in this verse:
2:17 Their example is like one who lights a
fire, so when it illuminates what is
around him, God takes away his (must be their) light
and leaves him (must be them) in the darkness not
    seeing
The verse presents a parable about people among whom there was a man (Muhammad or Moses) who kindled a fire (brought some guidance), which illuminated what is around (helped the people to find guidence) however Allah took away their light (their ability to understand the guidance) and left them in a darkness not allowing them to see anything (they can not understand the guidance).
    Your translations gives no sense.

I love this video Edip but why do you not look more at dahaha and flat earth? As a critical thinker.
The way I see it is, is like the word "spread". The ostrich will spread the floor to put down her eggs. The eggs and nest together eventually becomes called her "spread". Now the egg of ostrich is "dahaha" or the ostriches "spread". But still the word spread keeps its meaning as a verb. Your arabic is better than mine, and I am looking at this from the view of being 99% sure the earth is not a ball, so I am biased.
The way I see it "he made the earth a spread" for us, because in other verses different words are used to denote flattening, levelling and spreading. The Torah agrees with a flat earth in my opinion, and heliocentric model is good material for atheists and nihilists!

If God indeed says that he has spread out the Earth, then the phrase ‘spread out’ must be referring to one specific thing: an increase in surface area. This is exactly what happened with the accretion process in the earliest stage of Earth’s being.
If God is saying that he has made the Earth like an egg, then that is true in many ways:
      1. The Earth is not a perfect sphere - like an egg, it is an ellipsoid (3D oval), whose equatorial circumference is different from its polar circumference. The Quran was way ahead of even the critical thinkers of Muhammad’s day who recognized that the Earth is round.
      2. The Earth’s orbital path is not a perfect circle - it is an oval. This was discovered by Kepler long after Muhammad.
      3. The Earth’s layers resemble those of an egg, which has a hard shell, a runny white, and a liquid yolk containing an embryo. Earth has a solid crust layer, a liquid mantle, and a liquid outer core containing a solid inner core.
      4. Just as an egg is an incubator for a new life, the Earth was & is the incubator for a host of new life. The phrase “God has ‘egged’ the Earth” has symbolic truth in addition to physical truth.

I have examined every single source that you use as evidence. You site that Umar beat Abu Hurairah. And you site Bukhari several times. You reject to provide hadith source numbers, which you should, but you don't. So I have searched every source you mentioned and NOT A SINGLE ONE states what you have said. Also the mention of Ibn Kathir you stated about the Earth and the whale does not exist.

    MISTRANSLATIONS:
And the earth/Planet Earth after that He blew and stretched/spread it.
    and: و
    the: الا
    earth: رض
    after: بعد
    that: ذلك
    spread: دحا
    his: ها
SUNNI mis-Scholars mistranslate "دحاها" as "ostrich egg" (بيضة النعامة), when in fact means "spread”. There is no “Planet” (كوكب) at all in the verse, nor “He” (هو), nor another “and” (و) after the first one. These are all injections put in to support the Spinning, Flying Ball Earth Theory.
How to say “like an ostrich egg”
    ك (like)
How to say “like an ostrich egg”
    مثل بيضة النعامة
    كما بيضة النعامة
    ك (like)
    كما
    مثل
    نعامة (ostrich)
    بيضة (egg)
Historical use of “دحاها”, is to denote when an ostrich prepares the ground for an upcoming egg, in which the ostrich “makes soft” or “spreads” the ground earth in preparation for the arrival of the egg.

If u think u have the answers to solve all the problems facing Muslims by all means do it.Just intepret the Al-quran without referring a word of any hadith.Do it and maybe many will believe u.And also do not refer to "seerah of the prophet" as told by his friends and early historians.Good luck.

If you're familiar with his ideas, you'll know he's pretty much against presenting an interpretation of Quran one way or another. He believes the book interprets itself. If you think a verse needs interpretation, you must dig deeper in the Quran itself, by comparing it to semantically related verses, and scanning each word and their use in the Quran elsewhere, not the way words came to be understood through tafsir and sectarian hermeneutics, but only in the book. If you seek more than it is written in the Quran, he compares you to Jews in the parable of cattle as told in Quran, who kept asking on and on about specific details as to which cattle to slaughter, to the point there would almost be no such detailed and specific one. He says this attitude is criticized by Quran itself and it will only lead you to a formalist, superficial religion devoid of meaning. He also insists that if you think you need more than what is in Quran and your ability to understand it, you accuse God of inability to express himself clearly, and in his opinion, it is shirq to give more credit to interpretations than is due, because you consider a body of human words (interpretation / hadith) to God's word (Quran). Therefore, he won't write an interpretation and he doesn't claim to have answers really.
