I spent years trying to find a backpack that fits my needs for traveling and can carry a camera and also trying to keep everything minimal. As of last year, I found it. This is it. At first I was a bit turned off by the price, but after watching several review videos, I decided to give it a try. I must say this is one of the best investments I have done in my life. It's just about perfect for long and short trips. The detachable camera bag was just want I need to keep my camera/lenses and even a bottle water when I go out touring after I drop my luggage (usually just the backpack itself for short trips and a small luggage and the backpack for long trips) in the hotel room. Everything about the backpack and the camera bag is top quality. I have also purchased a small bag from this company that can clip onto the bottom of the backpack to store a spare pair of shoes in. onto the not so perfect part of this backpack: 1. when the camera bag is securely attached inside the backpack, there is a gap somewhere between 2 to 3 inches between the side of the camera back and the bottom of the backpack. so when packing, the user really have to figure out what to squeeze into that gap. And I do recommend putting something in that gap as it will provide additional padding for the camera bag. 2. When I purchased this backpack, I had a 14" Razer gaming laptop, with the 3rd party sleeve (the provided Prima sleeve didn't fit well) it fits in the laptop compartment of the backpack fairly well. But last November I spilled tea on the laptop and it was a total lost. The Microsoft extended warranty (I bought the laptop from them) enabled me to get a brand new replacement. But because they don't have the 14" model anymore, I was given a 15" model. I had to buy a 15" sleeve for it. With the new sleeve and the laptop in the laptop compartment of the backpack, it barely fits. So buyers beware that if you have anything bigger then a 15" laptop and also want to use a sleeve, the backpack's laptop compartment won't be able to take it all in.
@Carlos Ventures SE Asia is pretty hot. So if you travel light and isn't obsessed with changing your cloth everyday (underwear aside) I think aside from the camera gear you have in the camera bag, you can probably put 2-4 rolled up t-shirts and 1-2 not so bulky rolled up shorts and your underwear in it. I generally wear very thin clothing when I tour SE Asia. And that's the usual setup in the backpack along with my charging cables and stuff. If you want to carry a spare pair of shoes like I do, I generally have a pair of hiking shoes and a pair of keen sandals, you can buy a bag from them to hook into to the bottom of the backpack. I think the small bag comes in 2 sizes, the smallest is 40 something capacity and the bigger one is 60 something capacity. You will have excuse my inability to provide the exact measurement as my memory isn't great. I got the bigger bag and it hold my size 9.5 anhu hiking shoes very nicely. As to the camera bag, this is what I have in it : Sony a6000, spare battery, battery charger, long lens, wide angle lens, rylo 360, 3 spare batteries, battery charger, and a water resistant case for the rylo 360.

With the fieldspace and verge case in, how much lighter is the 2.0? 0:32 Is the magnetic key dock in the front quick access pocket for the keychain still protruding through to the nywool compartment? Any trade in plans for the initial backers for the 2.0? Also, good to see the codra has a new water repellant coating. I've carried the 1.0 through some heavy showers over a short distance on ocassion. While the Codra does soak up all raindrops, everything inside still remained relatively dry. Though doesn't quite inspire confidence in carrying through extended distance under the rain.
It’s ok bag ! I think that is not that practical! The best of the best of the best is the peak design everyday backpack... tons of features , easy to access everything, amazing design to the last detail and many more ! Have a look ....
This bag is fancy looking and sounds great but not well engineered in practice. I didn’t listen to the reviews, wish I had. Don’t buy this bag if you haul lots of gear around. It’s a great pack to just use for a day trip and bring your camera... nothing more serious though.
Jonathan Masters what am I missing? It looks like it’s basically a day pack only? I’m looking for a bag that will primarily be used on weeklong business trips where I always bring a carry on also. Basically it would be for a laptop, tablet, a small parts catalog and a shirt/pullover. Secondary use would be as a small camera bag.
lsustang05 it would probably suit your need, the main issue with the bag is that the camera compartment does not go to the bottom of the bag so when you have it in the bag it is wasting a large amount of space at the bottom of the bag. It is also only secured to the inside of the bag on one side so it sags strangely. When I say more serious I mean for people wanting to carry a lot of camera gear. This is the type of bag you can throw one camera and maybe a spare lens in with some extra clothes for a day trip. That’s it

You guys should invest a little bit more on your operation, particularly your delivery and customer service instead. Expanded the Verge Case overall feature set, attach the included camera case to the outside of the pack for easy access to photography essentials.
Verge case can now be worn as hip-carry pack with the Prima waist-belt connected to the back panel. (Check out our video about connectivity... )
Extended main compartment zipper 2 inches lower, to increase expandability of the main storage area
Lengthened sternum strap webbing to accommodate a wider range of body types
Increased secure tension-lock straps on bottom of Verge and Prima pack to replace metal hooks
Advanced Hypalon materials to increase scratch resistance and grime build up on bottom resting panel
Reduced overall weight with lighter suspension frame sheet
That’s it
@@jonathanmasters2178 We also made the MK-1 Camera Case to integrate specifically into the Prima System 2.0 which can fit a drone, DSLR and 3-4 lenses along with your chargers, batteries and any other accessories you need. The Verge Camera Case that it comes with can be attached on the outside of the bag with the MK-1 Camera case put inside of the pack. Modularity at its finest.

@@BoundarySupply I can imagine the weight of the total system.

Thank you for liking our bag! If you do not own one yet, you can complete your order through www.boundarysupply.com/
I still prefer Peak Design tho
Dang it! This 2.0 is so much better than the Errant! Now I have to sell the Errant to get the Prima 2...
Or you can have both, they are very different packs with different features and size.
Nah, the Errant is way better looking. Unless you really like the "I just came back from a hike in the woods" look.
I have the 1.0!
What's your Verge pack like? I haven't got the 'through' bit so I can turn it into a fanny pack. Thought I had 2.0 though :/
Hello bag link tell me answer

Take my fucking money my search is over.
Oh boy, here they go again with 17" laptops after being proven countless times by users on reddit and facebook, that even some 15" laptops do not fit.
I have a 15.6" Dell G7 gaming laptop and it fits in the laptop compartment with a little bit of space left from the zippers. 17" is questionable guess it depends on the laptop
Wow
pengen beli bro
Cool bag but this video is odd. it seems like you’re posing as a bag reviewer.
We've gotten a lot of feedback from customer's wanting a video which highlights all the the upgrades we made from the 1.0 version of this pack
You guys should invest a little bit more on your operation, particularly your delivery and customer service instead.
Nothing against the bag itself here, but Boundary as a company sucks at their operation. They failed to deliver the order in time despite their customer service promises that they would. And speaking of customer service, they don’t care about you at all. Left you waiting for a week without replying you. Friendly suggestion, the bag seems nice, but don’t but it unless you wanna have a headache.
We were out of stock on select items for longer than we would have liked in June and part of July, but we are mostly re-stocked again. It takes a few days once the shipments arrive at the fulfillment centers to be processed and we had to focus on fulfilling backorders first. We are truly sorry for the delays you experienced. Please know that we are doing our very best and making improvements every day.
Dude, zoom out a bit , I don’t need to see the seams
only an idiot would store their passport in an outside pocket where thieves can easily get to it.
And what is the point of a roll top if you can zip it open?
Pretty much makes the roll top just for the looks.
