I kind of disagree. If it's not a nail bitter, then it's always fun to watch a 3 stock. Esam was running circles around him. Good movement and spacing is good to see imo.

Cosmos had it, but to be fair, when the pressure game primarily comes from Esam's thunderjolt, I can't blame Cosmos for slipping eventually 😮

Am I watching Melee? These dude are moving faster then I can even think!
The speed for this game is just right. Not as fast as Melee, but a bit faster than 4 and way faster than Brawl.

yeah this is just the right speed. Melee is too fast for me especially in high percents can see shit there. smash 4 is too slow and makes long games boring
@@jackrush1222 That's a weird complaint in my opinion. I've never really heard anyone criticize Melee for being too fast. Personally I think it's awesome to this day to see Melee players push the game to it's absolute highest potential even after all these years. I wish there was a game as fast as Melee, but with a character pool the size of Ultimate. RIP PM I guess... It was the closest thing we had to something like that.
Ultimate is the best smash out after Melee because of it's high enough speed for fluid competitive skill. That set was insanely fun to watch because both of these characters have good movement and recoveries. Shame Cosmos broke mentally in game 5 as he appeared to be so strong in 4, but the set was amazing nonetheless.

i bet Esam wishes he could main Pichu w/o ppl in the community talkin smack + him losing subs. he should be able to imo, but it’s not realistic
@Fwuffycodbunny nah, he was a Samus player initially, in Melee. it's even part of his name. he does really like Pika, and he's obviously doing great with him. but he's not a character purist. I think he's just gotten so many fans off being the primary Pika representation.

what i’m saying is Pichu is objectively a much better character than Pikachu is, in Ultimate. and i was just thinking that i’m sure Esam wishes he could try maining Pichu without losing fans
I know Esam has also mentioned before how Pichu doesn’t really have a neutral and that could be part of the reason he doesn’t main him, he has played pichu in squad strike due to the similarities to Pika but I also know that for me personally I play pikachu over Pichu for the sole reason that his up B has a hit box

yeah, i’ve seen Esam’s Pichu in squad strike as well, and it’s very good. i’m sure you’re right that a part of it is preference. also i guess Pichu’s just gotten significantly nerfed, so my original comment is a bit outdated, now lol

Pikachu is a better character than Inkling. Esams pikachu is kinda brain dead with all those B spams
Mrniceguy 818 i'm here for Cosmos but how u can Say that? Pika without B loses neutral very hard, he needs to find a Opening with thunderjolts, Esam is a good player
If you've played against him before you wouldn't be saying that.
The way he uses neutral b is almost lagless in his approach, far more advanced than someone who can just press the B button. He uses it as a tool to attack and defend and start combos, which Pikachu is very good for. Because unless you're a decent player with Pikachu once someone gets too close you can get bodied hard.
ESAM labs Pikachu hard, not just spamming B buttons
You say that yet leave inkling alone with her BS side b and probably one of if not the best up smash in the game
