Depends on what device your connecting to, cell phones and other small devices won't output the power, but as long as you have a full power USB C connection (most laptops and desktops) it'll power the monitor.

I noticed a small latency and input lag with this monitor honestly Id recommend buying a small gaming PC monitor if your going for the small display as to accommodate for room.
Well yeah, but this is pretty much as portable as it gets, it's easier to carry around than a 17 or 19 Inch regular monitor
