...years ago, I read about prospecting for trout in the Summer, by using a thermometer to find where the up-welling cold springs are...some fish finder models used to have a temperature probe input, and an accessory 50 foot cable for the sensor...

Great instructional video. I like how you use those red markers to show the seams, rocks and areas too fish using those red arrows, Gave me a better visual understanding of the currents and flows. I have a new friend going to show me how to fly fish this summer of 2024 here where I live in Monarch, Montana. Your video pt. 1 & 2 are great gateway to understanding. Is that a float of some kind you're using above your fly. Turning 58 yr old on the 28th of Jan and this summer will be my first time ever fly fishing. looking forward to watching more of you videos and thank for keeping your videos easy to understand for the beginner like myself.
