how do your tires perform off road? i have the stock tires rn and tbh theyve been great for the riding i do, 60:40 road:dirt riding. should i get the stock ones again or what do u recommend? i want something a little better on street that doesnt give up much on the dirt
They do alright on dirt, not great though. They’re also much heavy, 6 lbs vs 4 lbs stock. Overall I like them much more than stock but they do a lot better on street. In my latest video 72v Sur Ron vs mountain trail I comment on the lack of confidence they can give me at times.
The first one was metro supervisor and second was either Malibu or palisades patrol and that’s just private security haven’t finished video to see if there’s real cop but so far every car he pointed about as a police isnt
Even if not in this video we've seen them in tons of eBike videos in LA with them not caring at all. So it's still an accurate statement. And I would say to the Australian you are looking at an extreme example because LA is wild and not representative of most places. It's an extreme example. Loose laws and enforcement without a doubt. Not the case everywhere here!
It was fun to watch and I was thinking it would've evened out when the traffic cleared. So long as you're not endangering other people and not being a jerk I see no problem with what he did or reason for a cop to need to be involved. All respectful. Cheers to everybody and have a great day 😊 🤗
@@sunnydays3476 Check out cops take on Sydney Ebike riders. And it’s not just LA where I have seen folks riding high end ebikes without helmets or registration without consequences. Personally I am getting in November the Talaria Sting when the government comes out with the street legal version, already have full PPE gear
I can't comment on the Sur Ron max motor temp per se but I don't see how it's much different from how I treat brushless motors with my RC car builds. Basically, the thing to watch out for is the temperature of the neodymium magnets in the motor reaching a point at around/above 80 Degrees Celsius. At that point demagnetization starts occurring so depending on where the temp sensor is located on the inside of the motor it’s probably safest to assume about a +-10 degree delta, so I wouldn’t let it go past around 68-70 Degrees Celsius. Someone can correct me on that. P.S. Greetings from South-Africa, our Spring just started this week, can't wait to get my SurRon out there this weekend :)

not really, unless you buy a new battery (obviously). the bac4000 will "request" more power from the battery, but the battery has a limiter circuit telling the controller "chill bro I can't take this much work"

Don’t do this in Australia, part of me was waiting for a copper to jump out and tackle him to the ground.
Man our government is so freaking weak

is this just a bac4000 or 72v ?
quite a bit faster you got there!! Yes, must've been being able to cheat all the traffic 👮♀️
Picked up those cheating skills in college 😜
Did the motor and controller get hot going full throttle that long at 7.5k watts?
Yes, video shows it, I didn’t run full power the whole time
cool video
Thanks 🙏

Enjoy spring, best time of the year!
Thanks for your sharing!
You’re welcome 😜

Great !
More bikes / Less cars 👍🏼
Amen
I changed my brakes to the Dominion A4 and they're amazing. After going 72V, the stock brakes were a bit scary.
Wow, I just looked them up, those are some nice looking brakes. Is $250 the price for the set or just one?
@@JuicedJoyrides sadly for 1... but man they're great though.
I'm still wondering why none of these sur ron guys get their bikes impounded lol
I hope that never happens 😆
Not much can't be said besides this was kinda pointless lol
So is pretty much everything on youtube..... He's having fun and not hurting anyone so let him cook lol
I have questions can I make my sur Ron go faster with the bac4000 with out the battery bypass
