Is it normal that there is a smell when it is just lit up? Smell is same as when you turn on a gas stove.

*REMEMBER* You need to follow the instructions exactly to prevent a buildup of gas, which if ignites can cause *serious injury!* - *DO NOT* USE TOOLS TO TURN THE KNOB. If you cannot turn the knob by hand, call a licensed gas fitter or service technician.
