Half of it is based off of emotions and 1/2 of it just isn't true. Have you watched Taylor Mari's Guide to BTS? If not, you should consider it. AND BTS Hardhips. It will give you a much better understanding about how kind all of these young men really are and the hardships they have endured together. By watching those you will have a better understanding of why BTS have such a strong brotherly bond and why they genuinely love Army (because they protected them for all these years). They've been together 10 years (they started young). In 2022, BTS announced that they were going on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military duty. While their group activities are suspended, they're pursuing solo work. All 7 members' solo songs have made it to Billboard Hot 100.🙂 Jin enlisted 1st last Dec. 2022, JHope in April 2023, Suga, in Sept. 2023. RM, V, Jimin & Jungkook just announced last week that they will be enlisting by the end of this year. They've all been successful in their solo pursuits, but all 7 say they can't WAIT to reunite as a group again. Suga explained a long time ago that K-Pop was an INDUSTRY, NOT a musical genre. The American music industry insists on shoving them in that box though, totally ignoring the fact that their music encompasses many genres & regularly outperforms American artists over here. They've been dealing with this kind of prejudice (in America) since they came on the scene. But they keep on rockin' it anyway and let their music do the talking!🙂
This IS part of his solo career. That does not mean he is not a part of BTS or takes away from that. They have all started a side solo career with sort of the exception of Jin. I fully expect him to put out an album when he returns. I just don't want Army to sound harsh to people that don't know about BTS or the members. :)

On Friday, they are releasing a remix of this song and the featured artist with Jung Kook is USHER! I'm so excited, happy for him and proud that these big names want to collaborate with him. I'm sure others have told you he is the main vocalist of BTS. Rolling Stone named him as the only Asian in their list of best 200 singers of all time. His first song, "Seven" feat. Latto is the fastest song to reach 1 BILLION streams. It was released on July 14th and I think it took 108 days. He took on the challenge to do his first album all in English, although he is not fluent in English. It seems to be improving daily, though. You should check out his live versions: iHeart (with a live band), Audacy Radio, Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show, MCountdown, and he just did a farewell concert where he sang all the songs on his album. The next day they announced that he and the other four members that are not currently serving in the military have begun the enlistment process. South Korean men all are mandated to serve at least 1.5 years in the military. We are so sad, but we know the sooner they start, the sooner they will be back.
