Great interview. Thanks to Mr Cheon for his expertise in the interview. I did not know that some ultrasonic cleaners propel from the bottom and not perpendicular to the lp. That seems an essential element for the ultrasonic to do an efficient cleaning.
    Thanks again!

Great interview? Seriously? The asian gentleman is all over the place and largely unintelligible. Moreover, if you're going to demo a premium product, then show us a premium result.
Watching a record spin around in that machine is not a demo. Basically you have to take their word that your records will sound better, rather than giving us some examples of how they sound before and after cleaning. With YT compression, we can't get an exact preview of what a clean record will sound like - but at minimum, can listen to a dirty record, run it in the Klaudio, and then give us a sample of what this sounds like afterwards.
Instead, we get a lot of puffery about how great this is, and how great the guy who built is, and so on. Now send us $6500 because it's the best. "You want the 'best' don't you?"

I've had one for about two weeks - my third US cleaner (Kirmuss and Degritter) and this is by far the best. I clean truly dirty records with my trusty vacuum machine and a good solution, then rinse and into the Klaudio. Removes more surface noise than anything else I've tried and also opens up the sound beautifully. The manual is a bit confusing - It tells you NOT to use distilled water and to use tap or drinking water. No way I'm cleaning my records in tap water. Fortunately distilled and pure works fine (it's the auto sensor that caused concern because pure water isn't conductive). Definitely very pricey but I don't know of any competition.

@@davidkipperman5218 I mean you are right to each his own...but when you are talking about a $6k piece of equipment to clean something, shouldn't you spend that money elsewhere to enhance your system? I get that this is a very effective way of cleaning, but if you keep up on record cleaning often enough by other means, I would be spending that money on a better cartridge and phono stage well before I buy this US cleaner. I dont nec think you can deny the aspect of cost on this playing towards those who have the disposable income that will throw $$ at whatever item they can to which makes them think they are getting every dollar out of it, as obviously the hifi world is a high cost world. I just don't see that vs upgrading my equipment which for sure has more of an impact on sound output. Some of this stuff you have to admit in the back of your head the absurdity of the costs involved - for sure this is a very specific item for a small niche population so costs are wrapped up to recoup the R/D, but still.

I am so happy to see KLaudio back in the Ultrasonic business and who better to work with than Acoustic Sounds
    I have owned the LP200 since 2014
it does wonders to new and old records
    micro-details, tonality, static and pops
it is larger with the water tank.
I change the water all the time, 60 records, no issues
I have the silencer cover - it really knocks down the noise when cleaning
why are you guys holding the records between your fingers
you can easily place and remove the record with the palms of your hands on the sides or side of thumb / index finger on the label
Chad is right - a VG+ record can grade up
then he slips and says he can charge another $100 for a rare record
will you be getting in the 10" adapters? would the current version work on all KLaudio machines? thanks
    Love mine

Hi Peter, Hi Chad, How do you physically clean the tank inside the LP200T ?
The older LP200 model had a large removable cap that could be removed to clean inside the tank with a stick to gain access into all edges and corners of the internal tank.
It appears this newer LP200T model doesn't have such a removable cap to clean the internal tank !
Also Peter, how come you didn't choose 120kHz ultrasonic frequency like the Degritter has ?

Too noisy and too expensive for the price. I'll stick with my Okki Nokki for $450. What I don't understand is why there is no manufacturer out there that can make a machine like this or Audio Desk Vinyl Cleaner Pro at a reasonable price. But in the hifi sector, consumers are basically being "robbed". There is always the argument of small quantities. But as long as the clientele goes along with this, nothing will change. The price for the klaudio is much too expensive in terms of material, or is it "hand-carved? Dear manufacturer: reasonable price = much bought.

Couldn't agree more, an audiophile and his money is easily parted. I've been collecting records since 1970 and have always taken great care of them. I have never needed to use any overpriced cleaning contraption, slather my records in PVA wood glue, spray them with WD40 or melt them in a domestic oven or an overpriced adapted electric blanket. A good routine of care and respect for my vinyl has rewarded me over the years. I've never borrowed or loaned any records or bought 2nd hand vinyl- the very thought set my teeth on edge! This machine looks like it was created by an engineering student- as a product design graduate it has no aesthetic qualities whatsoever.
