Good to see some other Aussie content on YT. I've ridden the Bobbin Head ride numerous times but not the other gorges. Your video has motivated me to get over to the North side a bit more often. Cheers.
Thanks mate, really appreciate comments like this. My motivation is to help riders try out these awesome routes around Sydney, I hope you enjoy. If you ever see me out on the road please come and say hello.
Great videos. Took a while after moving to Sydney in 2018 before I found some workmates to take me out to Westhead/Three Gorges etc. so these would have been super useful! My tri club did a "4 Gorges" the other day; do the first 3, when you get to end of Galston Rd, turn left on Peats Ferry Rd (instead of right), left up Pac. Hwy. for a couple of km - then right back into the road that you come out of from Bobbin Head. Didn't seem to add much to the distance overall (I live in Zetland), but you get another climb in :)
Awesome stuff Steve. Glad to hear you’ve got a local group to ride with now. Another addition (which I’ve yet to try) is to add the Somerville (?) climb which is just after Galston. Apparently it’s a killer.
@@joshkwanAwesome to see you ride my local area, though I ride an MTB. I live off Somerville. You should do Crosslands - both Heights and Galston sides. You have to do there-and-back both sides. Crosslands Road Galston side, down to the Crossland Camp boom gate (where you *will* encounter God) and back up to the Gorge west side. Then Heights side, Somerville Road all the way down to Crosslands Reserve and back up. Killer climbs.

Good good
Is this busy with cars?
The gorges portion is quiet but pacific highway usually has cars.
Best to do this route early in the morning.
