great video...but I'm looking to get to and remove the air bag sensor..mine got wet. It is on the transmission tunnel under center center console....is it under the carpet i do not see it in your video? Thanks and be well
Does anyone know the location for the disc changer in a 2003 BMW Z4... Is it in the center console location. Is that what pin connector he disconnected in the middle or is it located in the Trunk ?
Great video! but a real pity you didn´t remove the alloy piece, that´s what I want to wrap in carbon. Is there any other screw to pull out only this alloy part? Would you mind to complete the whole process with a another video? thanks in advance.
Thanx alot, There is a link in that video's description where to get that unit and it's cheap works great just don't factory reset it 😂 🤣 😂 it does not keep the theme which to me was the best part.
Hi thanx for the response find attached the links for media center, facia plate, and wire harness: 10'' Car Android Multimedia Player Quad Core 1din radio GPS Stereo Wifi Bluetooth RDS Audio for TOYOT Volkswagen VW Nissan Kia a.aliexpress.com/2qTp1gwX Car Radio Face Fascia Plate Panel Frame Auto radio fascia installation for BMW Z4 (E85) 2003-2009 Stereo Fascia 11-127 a.aliexpress.com/NfxqxxeeJ Radio Adapter Wire Harness Connector for BMW Audi VW Mercedes Cars Wiring Cable Adapter a.aliexpress.com/8KArfdsxD
I see the media player link page is no longer available have a look for a 1din media player on that site there are a wide variety (make shure it is a 1din or it won't fit, just be advised to look around on the site for best deal as there are many of the same things with different prices and shipping costs
I have to get to the airbag module in center. How did you remove the uuper part im afraid of broking something :D you cut video where the "manual release" was already removed. Please help
Okay perfect I'm in my car now I actually had a look at where this section of the trim releases and if you open up your centre console you'll see just on the inside where the latch is next to the latch section there is mounts should be on the sides you'll see is two mounting points or securing point that should have a normal panel pin in it that you should just remove and then the entire piece of black trim with the button will come off
If you still have any further enquiries I can suggest that we then speak via email and that is just a ramgotterdrift@gmail.com So that I can send you some pics or we can video call on whatsapp even to help you out

great video(you make it look easy) Just to clarify, the compartment door does not need to be removed when taking off the upper part? Thanks.
No the compartment is its own component, you'll only remove all the trim

Open your center console and at the bottom there is a slide open the slide and there you go
@@RamgotterNucleus I have the 2003 model I wish it was that easy. Pretty sure it's under the floor in the trunk somewhere.
@@skunky8922 the only two places u am familiar with in the BMW's are in the clove box and in the rear center console
nice, been meaning to tackle this, this gives me alot more insight.
Thank you let me know anywhere I can improve when you watching my content

@@RamgotterNucleus Are the screws seen at minute 5:30? I see two at each side. Are there more?

Should i need to remove whole console to remove aluminium trim?
Si , welcome to the club
Is the process the same on the automatic one ?
💯 They are all the same as long as it's an E85 I'm unsure of the latter models
👍👍👍
Does this give you access to the trunk? Friend of mine locked her keys in it and can’t get in
No it does not sorry
Ramgotter do you know how to open the trunk without having the key?
I'll have a look quick
Can you not open it with the button above your hood latch release
I'm going to have a look tomorrow to see if I can find a way for you
What year is your Z4?
2004
why is something different on yours and if so could i do any video to help or research for you
