Excellent video. It gave me the confidence to tackle this job. I managed to remove two of the five clips while the dash was still in place. This made it easier to remove the dash later. The dash is cast aluminium and much stronger than you think. Don't be frightened to pull quite hard - there's now way you'll bend it.
Thank you, it's a really clear video ! I'm doing the same job with all the inserts 😉 The shifter/central consol trim looks to be the most difficult.. i hope you'll do an explanation too ! Have a nice day 🌞
Did you loose the backing washer that goes behind that funky clip on the small air vent side? Strangely enough I removed my trim and painted it to get rid of the aluminum look. LoL
I do have links above or in the description that could help you in the correct direction that just lead to ebay. Otherwise ebay would be my best bet since our cars are very old at this point.

Glad you found it helpful. I had to do this blind 😬

Thank you. Hopefully I will get to that soon
Tack en mycket bra film.
Great explanation! Thanks!

Sorry Alan I'm not too sure of the washer you are talking about
@@DrewZ4 it goes behind that funky clip and goes next to the dash. It's damn near impossible to get back together with both in there.
thank you for this Video….
You're welcome😀
Great instruction video, like it! ✅👍
Thank you 👍
That’s helpful thanks 🙏
You're welcome 😀
Many thanks
You're welcome! 😀
Wood is bad, alu is good but black is better.
If you can keep it scratch free 😬
@@DrewZ4the Piano Schwarz is only for rich people... I've find one in German but it was too expensive for my small pocket... 😢
Any pointers on where to find new trim. Mine is damaged. Original is Light poplar wood.
