Shiiiiiiiit. I've tried to get Steel Vengeance airtime in this game before, and it ends up only having like 15 seconds of it even though there's airtime bunny hills left and right. PlanCo's calculations for airtime can be weird.
Challenge idea: 21x21 tile plot of land; build a hypercoaster on it. The tallest drop has to be 200 ft, or at least a 200ft change in height from top to bottom if the in-game Stat card doesn't recognize the full drop height for some reason (speaking from experience). Must have a conventional chain or cable lift at a reasonable angle. 0.9 friction is allowed, but no lower. It must have a similar or longer ride time to other hypers and can't go above 5gs. I have done this myself (even squeezed in a kiddie coaster and a plaza) so I know it's possible. My coaster measured 4900ft and had a duration of 186.6 s. So can you beat that?
Awesome work! I love these mods for PlanCo. Nothing can touch No Limits 2, but these mods really help us bend PlanCo's coaster editor to OUR will instead of the opposite. We have a lot more control over our rides now, and to me it's infinitely more convenient to use than NL2. Your video here kinda proves that. Amazing job on this woodie! I loved it! It's an excellent kid's first serious ride!
I agree totally, getting rid of alot of the limitations in the coaster builder has definitely helped us achieve NL2 quality coasters, and it can only get better from here! :)
This is fantastic! It kind of reminds me of Kentucky Flier at Kentucky Kingdom. I was really impressed with that ride so I am sure this would be incredible in real life
I mean Hagrid's motorbike adventure at Islands of Adventure totally slaps and that ride never goes above 50ft (though the incline you reverse on might be a bit above that). It's totally possible. Launches are always the key. A gravity coaster is where the real challenge is.
If you wanted more speed to make it longer you can adjust the chain to be faster, I think default is 8 mph and can go up to 14 mph, the extra 6 mph can make quite the difference
@@themeparkwirral I almost always mess with the chain speed, these days all I build are scenic railway coasters built with the zephyr wooden coaster model. Main reason for it, despite the antiquatedness of it all, they have some very fast cable lift hills, especially Rutschebanen from Tivoli. I love Victorian and edwardian coaster types and wish they were included more in games like planco.

could you do a tutorial on how to download acse? i have it downloaded and loaded correctly, but when i go in game the smoothing buttons dont show up. it says "acse loaded" aswell under the planet coaster text in the loading screen, but it doesnt pop up. please help!

Can you make a vekoma stc Not really a challenge but it is the most fun model to make in planco for me and not much people do it (it’s just the arrow suspended track with the intamin impulse trains)
I've got 2 questions: 1) how is your banking offset in feet/foot 2) how or why does it say that the coaster is a GCI wooden and not something like actual models in Planet Coaster like the "Gnarler"
By switching the trains from the RMC topper to the GCI track! If I'm not wrong you can do it normally in game by enabling the "interchangeable trains" in the settings :)
@@First-Drop-Studios yes But it is only 40ft tall, because most of it is underground, similar to oblivion. oblivion is 70ft tall but has a 180ft drop because it goes into a deep tunnel.

You can launch coasters and have multiple lifthills/launches and multiple laps, so should be easily possible by bruteforce.

The height of a ride its never really a problem, lower than 50ft, there is always material for a layout, it can be enought to make a very good ride.

The 3 things every coaster of mine has at least 1 of:
- too much G-Force
- Too fast
- Akward ending with weird curve at the end
If my coaster isn’t between 5.5-6.3GS then something is wrong 🤣
I always do like an Immelmann into the brake run if I started my coaster high up, or do an awkward upward curve as you said

Whenever I use the Mack Hyper, it is very jitter-y, why does it do this?
It's the trains! For whatever reason the lead car vibrates and the trains themselves tend to navigate the jitters harder for some reason
