I hope the views will reflect the dramatic increase in creativity. The old format definitely needed a changeup, and this is an awesome way to do it. Great job, guys!
That was sooooo much fun! The role playing is the best part. I love the discussion with the spouse at the end and the second thoughts of the 911 owner just as rolls around in bed not sleeping. The only thing I would change: Yuri should be wearing a tie and suit as a good work colleague / friend would at the office for a taco run. Because in that world, Yuri is probably a lower level than Jacob and has to work hard to one day get afford a 911.
As a resident of Buffalo, NY, I really appreciate the practical tips about driving a convertible with a dozen driver-aid sensors in the winter. Since I can't even keep my backup camera salt free, I can't imagine what a pain it would be to keep all those front-facing sensors clean everyday in the winter. Also, I love the racing stripes.
Off topic but (a) are you from Buffaly, NY and if not, (b) have the crazy winters been something you've gotten tired of or is it something you eventually just adapt to? I'm in Maryland and we're in part of this recent cold-streak, something like mid-20s for the last week or two, and I'm surprised at how doable it has been so far, but I'm worried about whether or not I'd get sick of it. I'm just kind of mulling the idea of going north and was curious if you have any thoughts/regrets there.
Love the style of the video. I think this is the perfect 911 for roads here in the UK. The GT3 is just too harsh for our crap roads and the turbo is too much!
This new format is excellent. I love how you wrap your normal review elements into a compelling relatable story. I think it would have been fun if you had dressed the part as well. Maybe even include your former watch sponsor, get a suit sponsor or sport coat sponsor, etc. don’t go to Costco, go to a fancy grocery store again I think it’s a great format but you can do more with it. Awesome!
I own and track a 2019 GT3RS. I eat Costco food and dress in Costco clothes more often than not. I don't own a watch, and I have one cheap suit in case I have to go to a funeral or something. Expectations/perceptions are weird.
As a Porsche owner, I totally agree with the ending. I do think of the spec I have chosen every single night and wonder if I should have gone for a better variant. 🤣
New format for weekend review to highlight Jakub and also review cars in Canadian winter (while Midwestern USA people are complaining about car-unfriendly weather) is top notch.
Props to Porsche Ontario for letting you drive a 911 with the filthy winter roads and salt. First time I see the recent Porsche 360 camera setup, it looks really good!
Thanks for you guys telling me I'M RICH !!! After 63 years I finally could afford a 911 992, and you guy's Officially saying I'm Rich makes my DAY!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I used to drive my Miata top down regardless of temp. Side windows up, heater full blast and beanie on on the coldest days. People thought I was nuts but totally comfortable and doable.
I like the change up! You guys always have the best change ups too… Jacob going nearly solo here was great. Your standard reviews will always be welcome, but changing and diversifying keeps us wanting more! Keep it up! 🤙
I love the friendly banter and conversation between you two, that’s actually what got me to fall in love with this channel, but I really do enjoy this more professional styled review. Nice content as always!
997 c2s cabrio owner here (in Calgary). Works great in the winter but don’t expect to put the top down until it’s above 0. GT3 would be a terrible commute though unless your spine is already made of steel, it’s only useful for bragging rights or if you’re a track bum . GTS is the perfect balance of practical and holy crap sports. Though I think my money will go towards a Targa! Great video
Really good video, really fun. One of my favortie car review ever, would just love to see some personal thing you did with the car like what Yuri did with the m3. In the way he set up the idrive for himslef, the heated seats/stearing wheal for under 6C etc. Once again love the video! Please do MANY more!!
Great video. I am actually considering this model because it's the perfect place between the comfey and plush 911 and the racing ride of the GT3. Living in SOCAL, a convertable is the way to go. I'm undecided on the stripes althought Porsche did a very tasteful job with these including the soft top as you noted. Maybe it's my age, but the Turbs S and the GT3 are a bit harsh for a daily driver in my opinion. Maybe it's because I'm 54 and driving the Turbo S and GT3 for more than an hour at a time just begins to wear on me especially in L.A. traffic. Anyway, thanks for making this video.
This is how it goes in real world. We got 13 inch of snow and I stressed my arse off getting half way up the first hill. The bottom of the car was a sleigh and any steering was futile in the snow ruts carved by reasonable cars before us. The road was so much full of snow that both front wheels were spinning franticly allowing the minuscule gap between the huge GTS brakes and the alloys being packed with snow. This ended making the car vibrate disturbingly at speeds over 40mph. So I got off the freeway. Finally at the office parking lot I qued to get into the non heated but slightly warmer garage a bit too long which led the front left wheel become stuck. Now usually I drive the last quarter mile with slight braking to heat them up so the brakes do not freeze when I park outside. But today I did not end up to do it since the lot was full. Only space was in the garage that costs extra. Now my brakes started to cool and were wet. I could not manouver it in as the left one only slid. Fortunately I got a collegue to help me and we towed the car on the ramp down to the garage. As it happened the ramp had less ice and snow and the friction freed the wheel. Now I have to spend an extra 15 minutes to clean up the Ice from brakes with a miniature hockey stick that I keep in the frunk for just that purpose. The hood is frozen and it will take an extra 10min to get it open. I missed the meeting. Commute back home is full of traffic jams and the last road to home is still not plowed. I leave the car down the hill just two blocks from home aside the road and hope that the city plow service does not dump it on the back of a snow collecting dump truck as it is predicted to have heavy snowfall tonight as well. This all happened to me not a long time ago :/ Get the heated steering wheel option and get that hockey stick! You'll need it a lot. A 997 targa4 is a great daily driver in winter too, but that was the worst day ever in all of 11 years of ownership. N.B. Pulling the handbrake one click only makes the all wheel drive of a 997 become a rear wheel drive ;)

1:57 The hood stripes continuing through on the soft top looks pretty sweet.
Yeah, that was impressive
Yeah I saw that and said “oh damn!”
Agreed! I wonder how cool the stripes would look on the roof of a bright green one?
Gotta LOVE "Porsche's level of commitment". Germans kill it!
I hope the views will reflect the dramatic increase in creativity. The old format definitely needed a changeup, and this is an awesome way to do it. Great job, guys!
I’m really happy to see you guys are still willing to experiment and have fun! Good work!
The results is good! Nothing bad to say.

@@NoGoodHandlesComingToMind Yep, grew up and still live near Buffalo. It gets old, but it is totally manageable.
@@DSR216 Okay great, thanks for the response!
This is such an original way to change things up! It gives me strong Office Space vibes. Keep it up guys you're amazing!
Guys, that was quite possibly the most entertaining review of a 911 ever! I am still smiling - well done and thank you
This is my exact favorite type of car review. Less spec sheet talk, more actual use and impressions.
This ridiculousness is why I started watching you guys so long ago. Never change!
Love the style of the video. I think this is the perfect 911 for roads here in the UK. The GT3 is just too harsh for our crap roads and the turbo is too much!
One of your best videos gents! Interesting, entertaining, informative, efficient, and you managed to get all of your sponsors in! 🙂
Best review yet guys. And your other reviews are already tops.

The ending was hilarious indeed. I specced my Porsche exactly the way I wanted, so no sleepless nights for me :)
Just too many damn options!
I even got the aluminum gas tank cap...just to make sure I have everything I could've wanted.
@@thesqueegee86 For a 911 maybe but just but any panamera turbo s and you know what your getting

Just NICE amount of torque in this car.
Great fun video. I was actually starting to lose interest while waiting for my GTS. Back to being excited again. Cheers
Props to Porsche Ontario for letting you drive a 911 with the filthy winter roads and salt.
First time I see the recent Porsche 360 camera setup, it looks really good!
Why are you guys this consistent? It’s to much of an anomaly lol luv you guys ❤️
The way you reviewed this car is so damn good. Well done Jakub (& Yuri)!
He actually drove around with the top down in that weather. The absolute madlad.
🥶
I really enjoyed the format of this video.
Cool vid, nice to see the creative juices working.
Love the format. Please do more of these? My choice would be the Targa GTS for sure. Keep up the good work! 🇿🇦
Love the enthusiasm! Great video guys.

#1 REVIEW!
Great idea! Best car channel ever.
Absolutely loved the new format guys!! Way to keep it fresh!
I used to drive my Miata top down regardless of temp. Side windows up, heater full blast and beanie on on the coldest days. People thought I was nuts but totally comfortable and doable.
Loving it! 911 FTW! *ANY* 911!!
Beautiful as hell!
Omg so excited. Great job on the format changeup, love the old way but it's good to do something different every once in a while!!
This is the best review I have ever seen, words, mindset and the combination with the car and thinking. Man you great, I love it !!! Good job Jakob.

Great review 👍 your die hard fun from Ghana, Team STRAIGHT PIPE
Thanks. Loved the format tweak
The format is different, but yet, the same. I like it.

love too see the wrx on the side off the road, very clean the way you snuck that in

The pain of second guessing your options is very real.
"soul-crushing commute"... nailed it!
This was great

Great vid. I enjoyed the different approached!!!
One of the best and funniest car reviews I have ever seen!!!

It's eerie how closely this video describes my every day life to almost 95% accuracy. And I just bought a new 911 C4S and use it in winter as well.
Filming style was super fun to watch
I hope this series will continue had alot of fun watching it all without skipping any seconds
New video layout is awesome guys I was getting bored with the old content but this is awesome
Hope you continue this, it's so good!!!
Absolutely loving this new format!

Greatest 911 review of all time!

Killed it! Unreal video guys, I loved it!
Like the new format, but can’t beat the duo! Sidenote: Noticed you guys never have done a review on the M550 🤔
Porsche says “You can have it your way Burger King style” but of course the options will set your bank account on fire 🔥
The exhaust sound is what puts me off from most Porsche models except the GT3.
I laughed so hard when you said you wonder will this GTS will get you on the list of a GT3. It is sad but so damn true.
That was pretty refreshing! Funny formula, lightweight commentary! Good to watch! ;-) thx!
I've been really liking these types of videos. Keep up the good work
This new video format is delightful...I love the story Jakub has come up with 😂
This is the most hilarious car video ever. I loved it.
Really really cool video guys. The 911 Carrera GTS is actually my favourite Porsche second to the GT3/GT4. And third would be the Macan.
Fun concept and loved the commentary - keep it up and do more of these
I like how we know what review you’re doing next!! I was anxiously waiting for the 911 review after seeing it in the WRX video.
Well done, Jakub (and Yuri, too)! All the necessary facts … with some creativity!! Let’s see more of this style, please and thank you!!!
