For me Partizan is now no 1. I can say that just by looking at my dad. He doesn't like hooliganism and ultras, but when we go to the game he is completely different person. He yells and do all the chants with other fans. For me there is no better atmosphere than the Partizan's one. Partizan also has football team that never make a full stadium even on european matches. On the basketball we almost always (euroleague) fill up whole arena. If I'm bored whole day and stuff like that, when I go to the match I get crazy and full of spirit from there.

Its almost impossible to win in maccabi arena tho give us the respect
Greece Serbs turks football or basketball they are the best and the most passionate
Having been to the first-ever Belgrade derby in the EuroLeague several weeks ago, Partizan fans singing 'Da volim crno bele' before the match has to be among the top things I've witnessed. The passion they exerted with each word was something special.
Besides, my love goes to Maccabi and their announcer Shai Sidi. He's the only one in the EuroLeague who STARTS the chants and corrects the fans if they aren't very enthusiastic during the beginning of the chant. The leader of Gate 11 also has a microphone so that the entire Menora Mivtachim Arena can start chanting together.
Thanks for confirming what i wrote previously, all the best and respect for Macabi

Partizan has to take this.
olympiakos and panathinaikos as well as serbian teams are the best by far
Partizan was for decades now club with biggest avg att in Adriatic league even without any important tittle for 8 years now and without Euroleague. Almost bankrupt in 2015 playing with anonymus players fought for staying in Adriatic league, menage to finish 5th that season. So yeah we deserved this one
I think: Partizan
Maccabi
Olympiacos
Panatenaikos
All things considered, Lugo, a tiny city in Spain it’s quite good at attendaces since it usually fills a 70% of a 5700-6250 seats arena with a 97000 population
1 ignored element you might have missed - Away games attendance , maccabi usually brings minimum of 250 fans each away game that can reach upto 1000+ (like in berlin games).
this is a huge part in finalfours when maccabi fans dominates the arena holding around 80% attendance (unless the F4 is beeing held in a counrty that has a local team in the F4).
that just might bring them over the top.
Away attendence is for big pockets in EL. Do you know what's awerege sallary is in Serbia, and how can a normal ultras travel to Spain or Germany. To spend 1 month whole ernings to watch a single game !!!!! Thats why we go only to big ones in Europe and take bank loans for that 😁😁😁. If Partizan by some miricle goes to F4 i'll sell my car and go where ever it might be. Then walk next year it's good for health they say.
@@markomrdakovic6433 you have a good point , but trust me not everyone in israel are rich .. pepole do sell their cars to see final fours also.
Last f4 in milan 14' maccabi brought 11000 fans to the final, this was so one sided that arena closed the lights pointing at the fans so nobody see the 95%yellow.
And I wish a serbian team would reach the F4 would be awsome!
2 reasons why this can not be considered :
1. financial situation of, for example , Serbian fans mostly can't afford trip, it is not lack of will it is lack of funds
2. Many clubs don't allow Zvezda or Partizan fans to come in large number (they don't want to sell them tickets) for example 2014 Galatasaray fans killed Marko - Jagoda ( in front of arena (Strawberry flag u see at every Zvezda game is for his nickname - Jagoda/Strawberry) so they consider our fans high risk and almoust ten years our fans are banned to go there
I'm so excited to see you Greece & Serbia fans in the Philippines in August
I'm a ASVEL (for the past 30 years). We used to have a very loud crowd back in the 90's. Unfortunately changes in ownership killed that passion and a different crowd is now attending games. What I want to say is: no matter what the cultural differences are in supporting teams, we should all be proud of the fans in Europe. The passion, the noise, the visuals and madness needs to be a part of the Euroleague and other leagues here! Be very proud, this is awesome!
Partizan crvena zvezda, Paok, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, Efes, Maccabi Tel Aviv...
🟢⚪
Its definitely not monaco, asvel, barcelona or milan. I tell you that for free
Or Also Bayern 🥱
Next: worst fans in the Euroleague are....
Milan fan here and I partly agree with u but we are not as bad as French teams hahah
Barcelona fand are actually decent
@@jonasbartz208 they're not that bad but u have to consider that they play in a very small sports hall, were if a few pepole scream it looks like 10k people are screaming, but the most important thing is that they give away fans a very ridicolously small number of tickets, and u can't just stay in the building where u want cheering for the away team (the same thing happens in Football) so it's impossible for the away fans to chant
We are making decisions by matches in a Euroleague. However, worth to check how fans are traveling and supporting in national leagues. There are some teams which have not a big amount of fans ~200, but on away games they got 50 fans on a trip.
Partizan fans are best
I'm a huge fan of European Basketball fans. They bring so much energy that American fans sorely lack. I would love to go to a European Basketball game and witness the awesomeness myself. It's definitely on my bucket list now to go to a game.

My perspective is that Greeks are the best Fans in Europe and something you guys missed . The smallest arena in europe is Salle Gaston Medecin (Monaco's Arena ) which have only 4.090 seats @BasketNews
Partizan fans are better
Great channel
Although Aleksandar Nikolić Hall has much less capacity than Belgrade Arena it is much more acoustic. It can be so loud there that you can't hear your thoughts sometimes.
greek and former jugoslavians are the best and i would rate the belgrade derby and the big greek derby equal from atmosphere perspective
israel and turkey have great fans as well.
what I like about Germany is that football Bundesliga can be a very "stressful" experience at times with huge police gathering, fan marches through cities, entrance strip search and so on.
so like ALBA basketball gives me a very family friendly and unstressful experience and still some good atmosphere and some good quality basketball, sure would be nice to have the same passion when it comes to basketball like in southern Europe but I enjoy the difference between football atmosphere and a more relaxed one.
in Germany some quote basketball to be a university student sport coz the original German basketball Bundesliga teams all are situated in university cities like Bamberg, Heidelberg, Göttingen and so on so the influence of big football teams is not as strong as the big European teams which have football and handball teams as well and the attendance is cross over from every sport the club has to offer on a professional level
„Former jugoslavians“ …Du hast ganz oben die 2 Clubs aus Belgrad und dann kommt da erstmal großer Abstand zu allen anderen „jugoslawischen“ Clubs. Nicht nur von den Fans her, sondern auch von den Mannschaften, erfolgen, der Club-Kultur etc. Deshalb sind das auch aktuell die einzigen Clubs die euroleague spielen. Verstehe also dieses „Former jugoslavians“ nicht ganz 😅
It's also interesting that somehow there are Ultras in Icehockey in Germany, but not in Basketball. Similar in Switzerland, with even bigger Icehockey Ultra-groups.

If you watch any basketball, you would know that last 20 years of Europen basketball, Partizan is played 13 seasons and this season, and always is full gym, crazy atmosphere and everyone can see what is happening this season and how many people is watching Partizan games , home and away.
So its not even close..
Partizan for sure
Yes but the numbers are not as important as the capacity of the stadiums. If one team has 15.000 seats stadium and 8.000 fans is 53% and much less than a team that has 10.000 seats and 7.000 that is 70% attendance. But It was a very good video as always!! ❤ Much love!
Yes, but if they had an arena with 15 000 seats, they would still have only 7000 fans. The only way you could blame it on the capacity is if a team has the arena with 8000 seats and is full every night, you coukd say that they have much more fans, and that they could have the attendance of 10 000 fans for example. The other way around doesn't work. The capacity of the arena is not important if the arena is not full.
@@serbsrb as a maccabi fan i sometimes go to games but all the seats are sold out from the start of the season so i cant really buy normal ticket but from someone else..
@@DvirMuseri that's exactly what I'm saying. If Macacabi had bigger arena, they would 100% have more fans attendance. But some other clubs wouldn't benefit from bigger arenas, when their current arenas are half empty anyway.

Maccabi home games record in the past seasons proves everything.

I would say Partizan has the strongest and best Basketball Fanbase, the atmosphere that they make every game is just incredible !
As a Turkish dude , Greek fans just amazing 💯
Alba Berlin has around 9.000-10.000 visitors each game for over 10 years now and that without football hooligans "supporting" the basketball team, I find that to be underappreciated
As a Greek, I would say Lithuanian fans. Because you're so fuckin passionate, but actually civilized. You shout your hearts out and support your team but no mothers, wifes, families or loved ones of the players, coaches and refs are for some reason targets of cursing, sex slurs and all kinds of shit.
A huge plus would be that everyone attending games (on and off court) can actually breathe, you seem to respect their right to do so, which is not the case here.
Also yeah, most "Ultras" here don't even know what a time-out is. They're just there to shout, create a "passionate" atmosphere (by insulting and cursing players and their loved ones etc) and inflate numbers. (Also do drugs but for some reason it's a free for all in stadiums here)
δεν ειμαστε εμεις πολιτισμενοι;;;
As a Žalgiris fan i can assure you, refs are always a target. If some shady call is blown, you can hear the famous "f*ck you refferee" next second in the whole arena. Other than that, it's a family friendly atmosphere in arena and I like to go there with my family. The whole city of Kaunas breathes basketball. As we joke in Lithuania, we've got 3 milion basketball experts here. Although we envy you and Serbians and we think you're much more loud and passionate in your arenas, but i'd still take our support because of safety reasons and friendliness to families.
@@dariuszelvys2715 Trust me, "Fuck you ref" is nothing compared to the shit the Greek people say. Imo you got nothing to be envious about. From what I've seen at least, you are not short on passion.

Then we have Zvezda Panathinaikos and Olympiakos.
We must look objectively, these are hardest places to come for win because of the crowd pressure(don’t look at Panata this season😂, but they will come back). If Partizan and Zvezda can come slightly to Real Barca Fener Efes or others with investments they can easily win the Euroleague, especially Partizan who breathes basketball. Fenerbahce fan here: I wanna say our fans are unfortunately getting worse since we became the champion in 2017, back then we have non-stop energy, our chants were more enthusiastic and pure passion. The 2017 Euroleague final was a great example of this. But after 2017, our fans are getting less energetic, our chants are nowadays are almost soulless and people watching the games like watching a theater. I pretty sure the main reason is the saturation among our fans after the 2017 title, also the last 2 unsucessful seasons are the other factors. As fans, we still have a passion and love for this game and our team but our energy and enthusiasm are it's not like it used to be anymore. Honestly, Efes and Maccabi fans are much more energentic and enthusiastic than us.
Agree. High ticket prices and economy also play a role. Not everyone can afford to go to EuroLeauge games anymore. Also I think the performance of the football team makes a difference. This year it (was) going quite well for the football team so the football team got much more focus.
They all have a unique style which is awesome.
You should look outside Euroleague there are many great fanbases out there too

As a Zalgiris fan, I would say Maccabi fans are the best by making atmosphere and being civilized/safe for families or club fans from abroad. Serbian ultras make crazy atmosphere, but I wouldn't risk dying in their match while being away fan, great to watch on TV tho :D
Why would you risk dying, we are not animals? I've met plenty of foreigners in Partizan games in the last 13 years I've been going to games and there has never been an issue with any of them. Especially this season I saw a lot more foreigners than usual and they all had a blast watching our games.

Partizan No.1 withouth doubt. Great atmosphere watching their games
Belgrade Arena hold Euroleague record of @23.000.
By Red Star fans. Against Budivelnik
@@Cveja91 That wasn't Euroleague game, learn your history before you comment. It was Eurocup. And my neighbor has worked as security there, he confirmed they checked tickets more than once to pump numbers since there is no way Arena can gold that many people. At least it couldn't at that time.

Needing something to wager on. Stumbled across euro league. Hope i found a gem.
I guess only players and referees could answer which fans are the best. This is not about how nice songs or claps are. This is about how hard for visting team it is to play there, how it effects the result. And also about how audience undestands the game and its smallest details (pressure for referees). As Zalgiris fan I guess for my team the most hard place is always Belgrade (both teams). About understanding the game and pressure to referees, that is Kaunas, since some 90% of spectators played basketball themselves (where else home team gets hard applause for on-time made foul before 4 foul limit).
Im totally agreed with you that is what is count pressure on guests and referees, but people in Belgrade also understand basketball because Serbia is basketball country.

As a Greek the top fans are:
1. Panathinaikos/Partizan
2. Olympiacos/Zvezda
3. Maccabi/Zalgiris
4. Paok/Aris Thessaloniki
