    I enjoy finding the small channels with solidly decent content, and your channel definitely ticks that box.
    I remember when Melodyne first came out, it was a beast then and is still one to this day.
    Really nice tip on the binaural panning, it's a subject that could definitely use some more highlighting for people out there so they are aware of it as it very much flies under the radar of many out there.
    I look forward to checking out more of your content.

    I think a useful tip that would have given this a better sound is-when you are singing, the layers, vary a little. Make slight changes to the vowel from one layer to the other, also projection, how whispery or shouty, distance from the mic, sing as if you were different characters… and then it will add up to something that sounds more like there's several people singing. Here it almost sounds like it's one guy with lots of echoes.

    Подскажите пожалуйста, а почему вокал на стерео дорожках?

    • @bobvaro
      @bobvaro  22 дня назад

      When using plugins to make your instruments stereo or wider, you need to convert your mono channels to stereo to hear the stereo effect; otherwise, they will remain mono.

      @@bobvaroСпасибо большое! Я тоже так делаю. Просто всегда думал что я делаю не правильно, и это плохо влияет на микширование вокала

    Is there an option in S1 to "explode takes to channels"? - this would be a huge time saver, rather than copying the track x amount of times and selecting each take.

    • @bobvaro
      @bobvaro  Год назад +1

      Yes, of course! When you have recorded multiple takes, you can right-click on the audio file and navigate to 'Unpack Takes' and then click on 'Unpack Takes to Tracks'. I hope this helps!

    is there a reason didn't you create a bus for this? Instead of put the plugin in every channel and wasting cpu. Genuine question
    16:25
    you can also add AVOX Choir by Antares. It's a great plugin for things like this

    • @bobvaro
      @bobvaro  Год назад +1

      To me it sounds better on the individual channels. On separate channels it fills the stereo field much better than on the bus. When you put the plugin on your bus, all your vocals are first merged into mono and then converted to stereo. By putting that plug-in on every channel, you sum up stereo channels and to my ears that works a little better together. & thanks for that plugin recommendation. 🙂

    As cool as this tutorial is, you mislead by saying your doing it in Studio one 6. If you used stock plugins it would truly be Studio One 6. However, using all the 3rd party plugins, you should specify in ANY DAW format be it S1, Reaper, GarageBand etc. I came here for a comprehensive tutorial using stock plugins. Not everyone can afford expensive 3rd party plugins. Granted, the exception that Soundtoys is reasonable. Try doing this with just stock plugins for a comparision. That would be interesting.
