~ Michigan is 130 out of 134 in the nation in passing.. They can't throw the ball... Oregon is going to stack the box and make Michigan pass. And Oregon is going to torch Michigan through the air
Duck fan: Absolutely love Michigan! Oregon will come in with a hybrid fast pace Pac-12 with a SEC/Big10 mouth-slappin style of football. Michigan will attempt to work the ol' skool slow down game, but just understand that the ducks have a coach(es) that are not going to slow this down from beginning to end-unless they're comfortably ahead... Also, Oregon has been hearing the all too familiar narrative that attempts to convince Oregon that they'd need to get used to the Big10/SEC trench hittin style football... But, Oregon is different in mindset, they believe the Big10/SEC will need to get used to this hybrid style of ass whoopin.. doesn't mean they won't or can't lose, it just means that when Dan Lanning said that Oregon allows for innovation - HE MEANT IT!! Oregon 38 Michigan 17
Unless Michigan somehow gets a lot better at third down stops and pass defense it'll be a somewhat long afternoon for them. Was originally going 38-13 Oregon but your 38-17 feels more right. Have felt for a few weeks that the Ducks would win by at least 20.
Its Michigan at Michigan, no way Oregon has a let down mentally even if its not a normal Michigan team. Michigan cannot pass at all so Oregon will be able to focus on the run and Michigan is not good at stopping the passing game and Oregon has maybe the best QB in the nation with maybe the best stable of receivers and TE's in the nation.
Heard the same thing 3 years in a row from them OSU butteyes before we dismantled them and theu had Cj Stroud and 5 starting NFL WRs 😂be humble and lucky we don't have team 144 out their. Ya know the 18 kids in the NFL now and the 5 coaches that left after we won it all something you haven't done since early 2000s. Well see how you bounce back after all these upper classes are gone next year. #GoBlue 〽️💪🏽
Looking fwd to it michigan fan. And as far as being humble, i remember all u big10 schools saying we werent ready, etc, etc. U said, welcome to the big10 oregon. And now, OREGON has taken control of ur conference in our FIRST YEAR. So far, i goyta say, i really dont see what the big deal is. Seriously, if michigan was in the pac12 last season, no way they go undefeated. So many great Qb's. U would have lost a game or 2. U got lucky and caught penix on a rare offnite. Nothing ur D had to do with, he just had 1 sucky night.. haha. Get use to looking up and always seeing us ranked higher than u. .@@ichiganade2071
@ichiganade2071 regardless of that "logic" pretty sure you will lose to Oregon. Hopefully y'all come out on top against the buckeyes in that rivalry classic
Everyone "squinting" and looking at meaningless garbage time rushing yard stats really don't understand how a mint defensive system works. Keep squinting, though.
Yes,that was a weak take. The Ducks backed way off in the second half versus Purdue and Illinois. They could have punched in more scores had they wished to embarrass those teams.
Oregon getting star DE Burch back for the first time in 4 games, also getting the star TE Fergg back for the first time since Ohio State.. This dangerous team is only getting more dangerous
the rushing defense for Oregon being concerning is over blown. Illinois only got that many rushing yards from a 40+ yard run that shouldnt have counted when they picked up the flag for a clear block in the back. Also Michigan doesnt present much of a passing threat making it even easier to stack boxes, especially when you have Muhammad and Reed on the outside who can go man to man.
@@MooseGoBlue brother… this is not Michigan of years past 🤣 you are 130th out of 134 in the nation in passing… Oregon will stack the box and make you pass to a bunch of stingy ass DBs which isn’t going to work you also have the 50th defense in the country which is shit
Right! Hell they couldn’t even hang with Illinois and we just demolished them. I think we score heavy on them and they will be fortunate to score more than 10 on the ducks defense. Not to mention we are getting Burch back and possibly Florence… no way they hang 20 on this defense. I have a feeling that our offense hangs 40+ on that horrid defense. If Texas can hold them to just 11 points then I think this defense can do the same. We are more talented than Texas.
Duck fan here but I have to be realistic here. Michigan at the big house is Michigan at the big house. We have won there sure. But we can not get lackadaisical. There defense is very good. They will be the biggest test up front for our offensive line this year. At the same time our defense is eliet. A lot of those yards and such on the ground are 3rd and 4th quarter after we have put teams away. Look at the first half stat lines and Oregon has the best defense and offense in the nation right now. Like scary good with the first team in. The fact our second team is fairly good behind the first team just points out the overall strength of this Oregon team. At the same time we can not underestimate the opposition. And I am sure Lanning has got the boys hungry. I got Oregon 31-17. Touchdown in the fourth in garbage time for Michigan to cover. Also Michigan will stall one or two drives.
The Michigan Wolverines are the best team in the country. They just won a Big Ten rivalry game with 0 turnovers and 0 penalties. That is harder to do than pitching a no hitter in baseball.
One of Illinois long run had a block in the back they didn’t call so take away 40 of those yard. Plus Oregon has their 2-3s in starting the 4th. Just wait till we get Birch back
Michigan finna show Oregon real Big ten football. Ever since the second half of the Texas game I'm getting the 2023 championship vibes all over again. Go Blue
I knew there was delusional people out there, but this might be the most delusional take I’ve seen. Sorry buddy, but Michigans offense is absolute dog water this year. It’s horrible. Combine that with a top 15 defense like Oregon and a high powered offense that will score no matter what, it’s a recipe for a blowout.
Oregon has impressed me with their readiness for Big Ten play. They are strong, fast, and deep! Michigan is nowhere near as deep or as talented as last year. I don’t see Michigan having the horses in this one. It’ll take a miracle for them to beat Oregon this year.
I wish you would actually watch Oregon before you comment on our "Rushing problem" we have fantastic rush defense. The numbers are skewed from backups and Jeanty.
I see Michigan has essentially already collapsed for this season so I kind of see them saying “meh” and let themselves get completely ran over by Oregon… I only see Oregon possibly losing to Wisconsin in which Wisconsin is not really a great team but they’re seething for a rematch
I'm a lifelong Michigan fan, and I just do not see U-M winning this game. Oregon is better than Michigan in just about every department, except maybe DL and TE, and that won't be enough for Michigan. I'm guessing Oregon scores 34-35 and Michigan scores 14-17.
@@TheJakekeller22 doesn’t matter Michigan is 130th out of 134th in the country on offense lmao I don’t care if Tom Brady came back your offense is still god awful
Michigan is not back on track. At least not the track that's going to beat Oregon. Unless Michigans defense plays on heck of a game Oregon will win by more then 15 points.
There’s just a big gap between everyone who’s considered a playoff team and those who aren’t. I can see why people would complain about weak schedules even though it doesn’t look that way in rankings things can be wildly different on the field. Nonetheless Oregon won’t lose here they’ll probably lose in the playoffs if anywhere.
Michigan’s TE no where close to as talented as Penn St TE. Only way Michigan wins is control the clock with a strong running game. Oregon will score over 20 pts so Michigan needs to score. I see Oregon winning but closer than the spread being in the Big House
THAT would be a shock, Michigan cannot pass at all so Oregon can focus completely on the run and they have a really pretty good Defense while Michigan cannot stop the pass and Oregon has maybe the best QB in the nation and a stable of awesome receivers, maybe the best group in the US.
This is a better prediction than I seen earlier, I could see this better than 35- 31, I could possibly see Oregon score 30+ on Michigan, I can't see Michigan scoring 30 +
