This was an interesting list, thank you for sharing. It would have been helpful to see the timeline index so I could more easily jump to the software I was most interested in learning more about.
Very helpful. I always watch your videos with a notepad! We have never actually used airbnb! Since we haven't been able to travel for long periods of time straight we tend to just do hostels (mix of dorms and privates) but things will change now. Thanks again! Have a good one!
Haha. This is the BEST compliment! I love that you find them so useful :D Airbnb is awesome... but now you've got the van you're not even going to need it! So excited for vanlife updates :D
Gold Content as Per! Louise I feel like you go to the effort of making the most efficient content dense videos in the RUclips world! I will definitely check these out, especially the unenroll/unsubscribe me, the Facebook feed blocker and the ‘atracker’ Have you been reviewing the information on the “screen time activity” from iPhone?’ It’s really encouraging me to reduce my screen time. Would love videos on: -productivity/time management work life balance -instagram editing - property, I remember watching a foals video where you aimed to buy a property in cash outright. How goes that? As a DIY enthusiast/veteran, I’m very interested in property x
Hi Jean. Wow that's amazing feedback - thank you so much! That's definitely my aim because I hate it when videos have lots of padding! So happy you feel like I'm giving lots of value :) I have added all of those requests to my list - I really appreciate you coming up with them! They are definitely all great topics :D Have an awesome week!
Also - I really love using Air B&B and I don't want to put anyone off using it - as I think 90% of the time it's excellent for all the reasons Digital Nomad Girl gave - ...but, there is a but....there's a few things you should be wary of. The first is the most obvious - if you suspect that the apartment or house isn't owned by the person you're dealing with or without permission - beware of scams like these or you could arrive ready to sleep in an apartment that the true owner is returning to during your stay - happened to some of my friends in different cities/countries. The second is don't be shy to object if the place you're staying has not been cleaned etc. A lot of Air B&B places are rented out without much in the way of gaps between visitors checking in and checking out - and yeah unfortunatley can get a little grimy. Often owners are really amenable and will be grateful for you letting them know if they haven't been able to do a sweep of the apartment before you have arrived - but there are a few who will argue that this is not the case - when things go south you need to lodge a complaint via AirBnB and remember to take some photos etc. The last two are a bit more sinister - I have known couples who have discovered that there are hidden cameras in rooms that don't warrant it - e.g. bathroom, bedroom. A security camera is one thing and that's the owners right to have that pointed in the direction of the hallway, or the front door - as long as they mention this - no problem, it's for your security too by association - but the rise in reports of peepshow cams making their way into areas of an Air BnB place is a worrying trend - also as you're likely to leave some of your gear when you head out sightseeing during the day or grabbing a bite to eat or a drink in the evening - knowing when you've left your expensive camera, laptop, passport, drone whatever at the guest house - and with no telling how many people have keys for cleaning, maintainance etc. Also your personal safety - if you're staying on your own etc. Finally, Just be wary of the security of the wifi at the place you're staying at. I would recommend taking a LAN cable with you for plugging straight into a router rather than the wifi if that's possible - also many wifi connections can be pretty poor from experience in different countries - so it might be a good idea anyways. I would treat the internet at your Air B&B place in the same way as when I'm connecting to a public access network - like an airport etc. Other than all of that - Air B&B really can be a great way to experienience neighbourhoods that are less touristy or far more central than you could possibly afford if it was a hotel - just be wary of the risks and stay safe :-)
I'd recommend TransferWise instead of Revolut better rates and they have their own debit Mastercard now and you can load up a range of different currencies
So many new apps to check out! You’ve also reminded me about a few (like Lightroom) that I’ve been meaning to download 🙃 Also would love to see a video about how you edit your Instagrams 😍
I've been following you for quite a long time and never said "hi"...so...hi! =] (it feels weird now haha) Quick question, why do you use Revolut instead of using Transferwise debit card which is already free? Thanks for the video, great content as always!
Hi! Thanks so much for saying hello 💕 we absolutely love revolut and it was out before transferwise so we've never really looked at it. Revolut is free as well - and has insanely perfect rates. Transferwise I assume makes money on each transfer?
Digital Nomad Girl OMG we are besties now! Hahaha.... So yes TransferWise charges a small fee on currency exchange but it will always tell in upfront, I think Revolut does it too but only after certain amount (£5k for transfers and £200 for withdraws if I'm not wrong). I love TransferWise too, I mostly use it for international payments which is great because it tells you the exact amount the receiver will get upfront and for most banks the money hits the receivers account instantly while I think Revolut might have some exchange fluctuation specially over the weekend, am I right? I compared then both like a year ago and went with TransferWise. Will definitely try out Revolut soon! Cheers!
Yep you're right that on weekends if you change currency you get a slightly worse rate :) I hold multiple currencies so that I don't have to change on weekends and I can just spend direct from that currency. I'll definitely look into Transferwise card - I do use them for sending big payments (e.g. rent). I think for what I do Revolut will be cheaper for me because there is no fee on exchanges and I already pay for the limits to be lifted. Thanks for all the info!! Welcome to the club :D
It was great! Very cheap and loads of brilliant restaurants :) The centre of Sofia looked like Paris to me! And I vlogged the Rila Mountains hike we did - just need to edit it!
Revolut is available for more than UK people. I was able to get it as a Swede, so might be europeans or something like that.
Fantastic news!! I highly recommend it :)
Will definitely need to check out those Instagram apps!
Yay!! Hope you find them useful 🙌

For high-end video editing, try the free version of DaVinci Resolve.
Nice! Thanks for the tip :D

Digital Nomad Girl keeping up my Ny resolution. Agreed padding can feel such a waste of time. Ace I look forward to them. And you! X
Great video! Love the idea about switching FB feed off :) at least on some days and weeks
Yes!! It helps me so much to cut down the time I spend 👍
I love your videos, you are such a joy to watch! I would like to see a video on how to me more productive and efficient with time , etc.
Thanks so much - I'm really glad you like them!
Good idea for a video :) I'll start drafting one!

I'd recommend TransferWise instead of Revolut better rates and they have their own debit Mastercard now and you can load up a range of different currencies
Cool! I think Revolut and Transferwise seem to be exactly the same :) So whichever you prefer!

Your eyes are so adorable..😍😍
Hi. Transferwise. How safe is this service system Have heard horror stories. Like western union.
I've never had a problem and have used it many times. But of course everyone is different :)
I've been following you for quite a long time and never said "hi"...so...hi! =] (it feels weird now haha) Quick question, why do you use Revolut instead of using Transferwise debit card which is already free? Thanks for the video, great content as always!
