My dad was a photographer who developed black and whites at home. I have boxes of pictures from weddings etc of people i don't know. Guess they're about to make their debut soon in my 'art' projects. I knew i kept them for 50 years for something!
That’s fantastic and also creating further memories of your father.
Girl from southern USA.
Love your helpful tutorials. Your projects are always inspiring.
Your accent is endearing. Thank you.
Now go take that vacation❣️
Thank you so much!
Ceri.. this is so helpful.. I love adding these little persons to my crafts, but some are not enjoying the "float".. You are so helpful, and I appreciate all that you share with me, well, all of us! Hope you get your vacay very soon... ENJOY...
I’m currently on vacation and enjoying the rest.
Ceri, I don't think you know how helpful this was. Thank you again. Such a thoughtful and patient teacher. You Rock!!
Thank you so much.
Ceri…Thank you this is just excellent, not keen on these doll , but you have made them look alive and with a purpose. ❤
YAY, Now, I know exactly how to make my Tim Holz folks look comfortable. 😊❤The devil is in the details and I ❤ your perfect formula. I have learned so very much from you and Gail A. Y'all are both wonderful!!! Thanks for ALL you do ! Let's have tea!
Yay! Thank you
Hello Ceri. Another great video. So helpful to learn how to place people so they appear natural. Thank you.

You are so welcome Shannon.
Although I have a lot of Tim Holt people, I hesitate to use them. This video has given me some great ideas. Thanks
Glad it was helpful
Don’t ask me, don’t know, I just know” rofl. Love it…we can all relate,I’m sure.
Lol
I love your intuition of what needs to go where. I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you for you.
This video is super helpful, Ceri!! I'm never quite sure what to do with the sitting paper dolls ... so they continue to "sit" in the unused box! 🫢 Thank you so much for sharing your talents. ❤
Thank you, Ceri. I needed this video! I have the paper dolls, and now I have a better idea of how to "ground" them.
Glad it was helpful
Good evening dear Ceri, thank you so much for sharing. I use paper dolls quite often. I enjoyed watching your process and listening to your ideas. Love your tags. Have a blessed weekend. Hugs 🤗💙
This was particularly helpful, especially the shading with the Vintage Photo. Thank you!
I am so in love with the way you position the people. Makes the project a bit more than 1 D; almost 2 D
Thanks, Ceri 😊
Ceri, thank you for always showing us new ideas to help us out. Your the best Ceri :)
I loved the video you did, when you put the girl on a swing. You have some amazing ideas.
Thank you so much
I hope that every single person using Tim paper dolls sees this video as I find it very disconcerting to see so many floating people on projects. My bugaboo.
Say what???
The lady (with the butterfly) is rather dark. I kept shouting to you to put something light behind her. She sort of just blended into the wallpaper behind/beside her... Well, still does, actually. So, then you added a butterfly. Then, a number But, for ME, she still needs something lighter behind her. I started shouting for you to add it waaaay back before you glued her down. Oh well. As you said, we all have different tastes. So, I just looked again at her and thought, maybe you thought that it would look too diff if background was lighter. Because everything else is kind of dark and blended and blurry? I don't know, Ceri, C•e•r•i. I don't know that sometimes I like a little color and/or lighter/brighter, you dig? (Sorry. When I'm tired, my old hippie comes out! 🙄🥴) Oh, hell ...One more thing. The lighting was giving me a little trouble. I couldn't see the pdolls very well. I REALLY noticed when you picked up and showed us the tags at the end. BIG difference. (Lady with butterfly didn't look so dark! 🙄🤭😉)🌹✌️💕
I love these paper dolls.I always make sure they are not floating. 😊
Ceri, this was so helpful. I rarely use these paper dolls because I'm not sure how to use those that are sitting or learning.
What a brilliant idea just to add dark ink under their feet or seat.
Thank you so much for sharing.❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Ceri, always something g to learn such as the use of ink for shadows and different compositions. ❤❤❤
Hi Ceri. So glad you did this video. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🙂

Wow Ceri❤! I enjoying watching your thought process. I didn’t grow up with journaling around and the only tags I knew were the ones on clothes😂 so this is fascinating. Job well ground😂

Thank you so much for this. Very helpful
So nice! Thanks for the good ideas.
Love these! Thanks for sharing.
The very first video of yours I watched was how to anchor the Tim Holtz dolls, and I haven’t missed a video since. I actually now go back and rewatch your older videos. This is another perfect tutorial for me since I have mixed feelings about the dolls. 🩷🩵❤️🙏
Fabulous thank you Alison
Very helpful, they turned out great❤
Great, thanks for sharing!
That was very helpful Ceri. I have a box of my husbands relatives in a box, he doesn't know who they are so it looks like they may need to be front and center :) Thank you!
That's a great idea
I bought a pack of these, even though I wasn't sure what I'd use them for. I was impressed with the photos and the product quality. One of the problems with packs like this is not being able to tell if the people are diverse. As a person of color (POC), I like to see diversity in representation, though I'm not as picky as my sister, who will only use POCs in her work. The pack has plenty of POCs of all ages. They are mostly black, but there are a few Hispanic and Asian people as well. There were enough for me to send her quite a few, and still have a good number for myself. So, if that's an issue for you, I think the pack is a good buy and I've enjoyed adding my 'little people' to my work.
Yes I admire their mixture and diversity.
Thank you!😊
The name on the creepy kids means a turkey vulture so good choice
Perfect
I misspelled aren't wrong. Sorry. In the begining of my craftìng i tried to copy everything but somehow it always came out different because i was finding own little path of my creativity. Although i may love something I see I've learned to love my creativity. But I do learn something from all videos. Like Gayle and I learned from you to ground our people so they don't look like they are hanging mid air. Love ya.
Thank you Isabel
I don’t use the paper dolls very often and I only have a few but I used one the other day and I stuck him down and then I thought of you. He was already stuck down with art glitter glue, so I used a Derwent Inktense pencil, and I scribbled under his feet, and then I used a water brush to spread it out so now he’s standing in a brown puddle because I couldn’t find my black pencil which would’ve been more like a shadow than a puddle 😅.
Wonderful
❤
Love ya Darcy
✨💖✨
Hope you're having a good day.
You too
I couldn’t resist looking that’s up - Vulpus virginanus is a gray fox. Apparently it has gone extinct, because the only image I could find was in a museum that was painted by Audubon in 1843, near the end of his life. So, essentially, a gray fox could be considered a little creepy???
Perfect, thank you
I enjoyed this although I find his people rather creepy and rather too expensive. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes to both.
Think your art is great, really enjoy your videos. Not keen at all on these creepy paper people, nor art with faces or body parts, eg eyes, skulls etc. Ill stick I think to flora and fauna. X.
Pauline do what you love and enjoy the process. Thank you
