You are correct, the 2 stamps with the lion are really nice. Nyasaland Protectorate has a really cool set of leopard stamps issued in the 30's. One set with George V and one set with George VI.
I have gotten just a few of the KUT stamps with George the Vi or Queen Elizabeth portrait - all from the period of 1938 - 1955: Kenya Uganda Tanganyika 74 MNH - KGVI Kavirondo Cranes (1942) Kenya Uganda Tanganyika 80 MNH - KGVI Lake Naivasha (1938) Kenya Uganda Tanganyika 113 MNH - QEII Elephants Wildlife (1955) What I like about the stamps aside from their consistently beautiful design and fascinating slice of history, is they are quite affordable --- from my search so far these stamps only get expensive before George Vi reign, and even then not all. Thanks for this video. KUT stamps I think are one of the best series to acquire for both the beginning and advanced collector either with a modest or ample budget.
