Insulation slows down heat transfer. So if your garage door is in direct sun during the day, would reduce the amount of heat transfer into the garage. Though keep in mind that if your garage space isn't conditioned (heated/cooled) then eventually the garage becomes the same temp as outside. It would be like turning off the ac in your house. Eventually it would get hot in the house, regardless of the insulation. So the benefits of insulation is most noticeable when you're trying to condition the space; such as running a heater when it's cold outside, etc.
@@ScrufsGarage What I wanted to know was not the garage door heat difference but the overall garage temperature. Do you recall how much the entire garage temperature went down by?
Any difference in winter time, since your install? I know you can’t speak for summer yet, given the season you released your install video in. Thanks for the video
Nice upgrade! I'll give it a try! Thanks for the explanation!
Thanks for the video!!! I will do this to my garage door. Did you notice a drop in temperature during summer?

Awesome! Glad to hear they worked well for you.
