The shortcuts that I am most happy with being addressed are the “noisy” ones. I think it’s also important to recognize that the scale of each map - sure, the persistent threat of other players is wild - but taking comfort in the scale of the map to take that quick second to make some noise, game changing. Adjust and move quickly etc. Great video.
Two things worth noting about the drop off the roof onto the fence at 3 story: 1: if you hold back key (towards the building) as you fall, it significantly lessens damage & 2: if you jump off the fence immediately you will take extra damage as if you fell that entire distance. Stay on the fence for a good second or two and youll take less damage.
@@Anxrch bit of a late reply but it is most likely that tarkov uses time in air as a measure of height and then gives you the damage based on that, since you're sprinting off you will go to the fence just a little bit faster rather than walking and essentially 'tripping' off. but that's just a theory. a game theory.
I've recently found out that you can jump through a few of the ground floor windows at dorms. Use them all the time for 2 story to move between the 3 safe rooms.

You're welcome! Dude I know, I hate that choke point trying to get to ZB-1011. If you have high enough strength you can jump from ZB-1012 little hut over the fence, but I don't know how strong you need to be.

There’s a bunch of great eft creators out there but I really admire the structure and editing in your videos. Clean , to the point but still a little bit of your own style. It’s a shame you haven’t gotten the recognition you deserve but it will come with time
those shortcuts around factory key short cut have saved me in so many gunfights. warehouse 4 wall jump is one I have never seen used and didn't even know about. and the fence drop-down at 3 story always seems buggy always has since customs came out and you may have just got a bad hitbox but still a viable way to bug out if dorms gets too heated may just have to pop a PK before dropping.

Another one near New Gas Station. Starting from the open lot next to Warehouse 4, next to the wall towards New Gas Station, there is a blue dumpster with the lid up. You can jump off the lid, over the wall and land next to the stash that's in the bush next to the pipe, close to gas station.
I knew pretty much most of these, the 2 i didn't were the old gas to stronghold tree jump and the shortcut from new gas to warehouse jump. Good video dude
Multiple Dorms ground floor windows can be jumped through (ones with boxes or rubbish underneath); at the new gas barbed wire shortcut you can also jump over the wall, then midway down from there on the other side there's a dumpster barbed wire jump over to go the other way; and you can also jump over the trucks at new gas right next to the gas station using the barrels.
On most of these wall jumps, if you simply land on the top of the wall and simply walk off the wall, you'll drop down and take little to no damage from the fall. If you try to jump over the barbed wire, you're basically falling from an extra foot or two for no reason, and you usually still hit the barbed wire anyway. At the spot where you ran along the pipe and jumped over the barbed wire to get around New Gas, you can actually turn north there and jump from the pipe onto the broken chunk of concrete to jump over the wall into the construction storage yard. You'll land behind an angled truck so you can get to somewhat decent cover quickly. If you're moving west along the southern edge of the area where stronghold is (the building with zb-1013 extract), you'll come across the train tracks that run north/south, parallel to the wall where you did the tree jump. From the railroad tracks, you can do a "bunny hop" and jump over the wall and land in that alley way along the east side of the power building.(We really need to change that name... "bunny hop" is something completely different and has existed for decades before Tarkov, and it's a movement technique, not a super jump... My vote is "long jump," like the track and field event!) It's similar to the jump you can do closer to the train to the north, but you avoid being seen from the west. You can jump from several of the train cars into the customs yard (the area with Big Red/Paradigm). And you can jump from the pile of concrete over the wall near the loading platform and trailer cabins in that same yard. You can jump over that pile of rubble and dumpster that blocks the west-most road through Storage rather than having to run around through the middle row. From here you can also get onto the storage rooftops. There are a few other ways to get up there if you look around. From the north side of the Stronghold, there's a long, tilted concrete beam that leads up to the second floor. You can move up or down this for a quick rotation or escape, but you have to make a jump onto the metal beams if you're going up which can be tricky under pressure. There are still lots more secrets on this map!
When you go down off the roof of Dorms, make sure you aren't crouched when landing on the metal fence. You can crouch walk off but "stand up" mid-air so you don't fall as long. Seems stupid but it's how I afraid fractures. If you are overweight, drop your backpack off the side before doing it.
the 3 story balcony story too you can also jump to the 2nd story stairs entrance with a bunny hop, but you may also break your legs like with fence and then there is also a jump into a window from that same 2nd story entrance .
3:50 you can also jump over the same wall back towards warehouse4 from the other side if you ran up and jump from the rail tracks next to the fence on top of it

That W4 Tree shortcut I believe is something I haven't seen anyone ever use, and I watch quite a few top level streamers. I personally always use that wall to reach the lever, and its great to learn you can do it both ways apparently. It's also great since you can do it overweight with the backpack drop.
About jumping from the 3 story to the wire and breaking legs, try crouching before practically walking off the ledge, you still hurt your legs, but they wont break.
You can also stand on the barrel pointing at the wall at new gas where you jumped over the barbed wire to jump over into the industrial area. You take a lot of leg damage as you have to walk over the walls barbed wire but has no strength requirement.
5:10 - alternatively you can jump of the container, at the point where is slight gap in the barbed wire. It is overall lower jump, doesn't touch the wire (no noise/no injury) and very little if any injury upon landing,

It can be broken & jumped out of, you might take a tiny tad of dmg on your legs, but it's a pretty easy & fast escape out of dorms if need be. Got in a sticky situation while showing a friend who just got the game around, just shot the window and prayed that we wouldn't break our legs while jumping out of it. Near the computer van, there is that train carriage... You can jump from the ramp over the wall to near the Bunker door. No need to go to that official ramp which is on the train track (that needs level too). It was missing, but good vid. I liked the point where u tell that backpack could drop at a tree spot.

On the checkpoint sniper shack I go up the stairs and there is a hole in the fence so I just jump on the railing and jump down on the barricades, it's faster than circling around to that barbed wire but more exposed and risky and if you angle the jump wrong you jump off the railings and break your legs

You can jump out of a window on the 1st floor (floor under marked room floor) and land on the window sill you dropped down to, and you can then jump onto the generator air vent looking thing and up onto the roof. Sneaky way of getting from 1st floor to second floor. Saw bakeezy do it, might need high str though.
Oh I think I've seen him do that, there's some really badass parkour you can do once your strength is leveled. I know if I tried that I'd break my legs no doubt haha.
at checkpoint theres a great way to hop over from the back side onto the street side up the stairs and hop over at the pallet on the railing. make sure you land on the awning or you may get broken leg.
you missed one! at 1:29 you are looking directly at one shortcut from new gas towards the old gas area, when you are at the red pipe, and face towards the doors which you can open with factory key, just before the barbed wire turn left into the concrete wall with barbed wire, there is I believe concrete pipe or something like that off of which you can jump across the old gas area over the concrete wall with barbed wire that shortcut is better than what you show few seconds later as you dont need any strength and you can do the jump fully geared with loot! Nice video nontheless!
You can still get on top of the roofs of several buildings in the industrial complex as well, though you need near or max strength. if you have a buddy or two to boost you, you can get on some with lower strength.
Also your first dorms drop spot is a good place to get some SBIH snipes done. stay in the bus depot or construction, look at dorms and you should see the drop down.

Same setup as the last shortcut you can sprint on that little ledge running toward the building and leap onto the stairs outside. Jump off your right foot if you can so you can clear the distance and you take minimal damage.
On the roof drop down on third story dorms, hold s while dropping, it normally lets you clip a little ledge temporarily to not break your legs. Might have changed during dynamic loot patch though.

at checkpoint theres a great way to hop over from the back side onto the street side up the stairs and hop over at the pallet on the railing. make sure you land on the awning or you may get broken leg.
1:20 u can jump over the wall on your right using that barrel next to the wall... And from the opposite side using big container

you missed one! at 1:29 you are looking directly at one shortcut from new gas towards the old gas area, when you are at the red pipe, and face towards the doors which you can open with factory key, just before the barbed wire turn left into the concrete wall with barbed wire, there is I believe concrete pipe or something like that off of which you can jump across the old gas area over the concrete wall with barbed wire
that shortcut is better than what you show few seconds later as you dont need any strength and you can do the jump fully geared with loot!

their is a dumpster next to new gas that allows you to bypass shortcut to enter the new gas with ease and you can immediately hit the bush stash

You can still get on top of the roofs of several buildings in the industrial complex as well, though you need near or max strength. if you have a buddy or two to boost you, you can get on some with lower strength.
Also your first dorms drop spot is a good place to get some SBIH snipes done. stay in the bus depot or construction, look at dorms and you should see the drop down.

surprised you didn't show the jump from the dorms to the outside stairs from that second story roof outside the marked room.
In dorms when you're falling on the fence, I don't think you break your legs if you do it crouched. Been a while since I did it tho.
Same setup as the last shortcut you can sprint on that little ledge running toward the building and leap onto the stairs outside. Jump off your right foot if you can so you can clear the distance and you take minimal damage.
Great work on the video but it'd beeen good to see some more of the west side shortcuts like those that get you ontop on the storage garages

On the roof drop down on third story dorms, hold s while dropping, it normally lets you clip a little ledge temporarily to not break your legs. Might have changed during dynamic loot patch though.
Someone else mentioned you just need to crouch, so hopefully that works.
