I believe they had no choice but to remove the physical pre order gift because that would be counted as bundling. So now I am fine with not getting the gifts, since it meant that I could contribute to their US charting. I should save more so I can keep buying albums on bh shop US not just for photocards but to help with sales as much as I can.

a photocard pack? bighit doesn't sell photocard packs for album photocards. The only way to 100% know you are getting authentic cards is by buying the albums

Any reason why there aren't any Komca stickers on these? 😭 Should I assume because they are the first batch of printing they didn't put the sticker on? Or is it because there is now an American distributor and the Komca sticker wouldn't apply to American albums? I believe this was the case for the album "Love Yourself: Tear" where the Komca sticker wasn't on them. But yet with "Love Yourself: Answer" there was a sticker 🤷♀️
Yes, BTS/bighit have their own distributor in the US so they don’t need the komca sticker since that is the serial number/code for authentication in Korea. I believe none of the albums sold in US stores have the sticker
Yes I did. I was awake most of the 24 hours because of the music show and streaming. I even saw the views go from 48 to 43M right before the end of 24 hours. It’s times like this that I don’t even feel like I should be using this platform anymore 🤮
There is a photo book. It never said it was going to be bound. It’s just that people assumed that it would be the same thing which anyone has the right to because that’s how it was usually. The issue I have with that is that this photo book is absolutely fine for what it is. The photos are bigger and you don’t lose the members’ faces in the crease of what otherwise would have been a bound book. The posters don’t come in tubes because they removed that gift from the product description. It was ambiguous up until the first person to receive their albums from bighit shop confirmed that theirs didn’t come with unfolded posters or an extra gift. I feel slightly ripped off not gonna lie but it’s not a deal breaker for me

I would say the slip case could imply this sort of format. Sure you could say that it should have been bound but by it not being bound, it makes this item (won’t say book since it apparently isn’t) multifunctional. You can have expectations and be disappointed when they aren’t met but it shouldn’t be a deal breaker
Lacquer Lover Yeah it says „sleeve cover“ but a real book could have a sleeve cover too. I imagined a book (glued pages in a sleeve cover). They should ve simply adressed it as posters. Maybe that would reduce some confusion. I am okey with that now. I was bit dissapointed at first to be honest, because its my first album. And I wanted to have something to put on my shelf. I ordered it from a korean seller on amazon. It says they have gifts like photocard and a photoholder. 😬 We ll see.
Has Bighit confirmed the paper is environmentally friendly? - all I’ve seen on twitter is people making rumours there’s nowhere on the album that confirms this and they haven’t made a statement. As much as I love that it COULD be sustainable, as a consumer we still have the right to complain about what we’ve bought. no one knew that it would be like this the quality of version 2 is atrocious you can’t see the details of the photos. They never told anyone the paper would be different so naturally people may feel disappointed that the photo book is vastly different from their previous albums especially first time buyers but if it is sustainable that’s amazing but at the same time other products within the album are not like the colouring PAPER, the outbox and the thick lyric book. Of course the general size of albums orders also make the sustainable thing redundant since they will still have to continuously print these things. Idk

Aww thanks. I do what I can to support the boys. I really want them to chart higher and higher in the US so I’m just doing my part as a US ARMY. Also buying their physical albums in this day and age is great acknowledgement for all their efforts since music is so easily consumed and thrown to the curb these days. As for original PCs, I would check Instagram. I haven’t run into scammers on there but of course no matter where you’re going, you should try to have a conversation with the seller to obtain more proof of authenticity before handing over your money. Opening new albums is fun so I like buying the albums, especially in the first two weeks 😅

They changed it after I recorded that clip. I checked with the QR code’s that I got in my very last albums in the video and I no longer had to do the survey. But for the first five albums that I unboxed I had to do the survey for each and every QR code

AngelicJin dont worry. I wasn’t confident trading during Persona era so I still have a bunch of doubles from then. But last summer I slowly got into it and now I have made such close ARMY friends from trading :) It really depends. You have to be thorough and really build trust with the other party before you go and send out your item.

Aww thanks. I do what I can to support the boys. I really want them to chart higher and higher in the US so I’m just doing my part as a US ARMY. Also buying their physical albums in this day and age is great acknowledgement for all their efforts since music is so easily consumed and thrown to the curb these days.
As for original PCs, I would check Instagram. I haven’t run into scammers on there but of course no matter where you’re going, you should try to have a conversation with the seller to obtain more proof of authenticity before handing over your money. Opening new albums is fun so I like buying the albums, especially in the first two weeks 😅

I’m also a US army and I like to buy their albums and songs to help the charts 💪🏽 I’m doing my best to save money and at least buy another two albums for week 2 🙏🏽 🤞🏽 and yeah I agree that opening albums is so much fun, but later idk what to do with the extras 😂 specially with 7, its so big haha 😂 ooh ok thanks!!! i didnt have to do the survey everytime for my qr codes! did you use weply?
They changed it after I recorded that clip. I checked with the QR code’s that I got in my very last albums in the video and I no longer had to do the survey. But for the first five albums that I unboxed I had to do the survey for each and every QR code

@@LacquerLover2018 I wish I was confident in trading I have Suga V1 I would trade for Jin V1,The group cards should be easy to get as UK only got group cards-so you should be able to get the group cards you are missing
AngelicJin dont worry. I wasn’t confident trading during Persona era so I still have a bunch of doubles from then. But last summer I slowly got into it and now I have made such close ARMY friends from trading :) It really depends. You have to be thorough and really build trust with the other party before you go and send out your item.

Nope. Not if you ordered from bighit shop US. Pretty sure the original product description said so but they removed it last minute. I wish I had preordered at least one set from weply or another korean retailer now.

That being said, there’s nothing wrong with buying the album just for the photocard. Either way, when you buy the album you’re supporting BTS and acknowledging all their hard work. I buy albums with the goal of lending a helping hand as a US ARMY. Photocards are just a bonus but since I’m buying so many anyways I might as well collect them all
