This is one of the greatest EAS alerts I’ve ever seen. The impending doom from the meteorologist coming up and then the alert itself in poor quality with all the creepy distortion out of nowhere when the guy reading it comes on… *chef’s kiss*
This one’s simply bone-chilling. The crackly blue screen, the distorted audio, the meteorologist’s interruptions over a basketball game. All of it is just so chilling.
1:08 so tell me what I’m a supposed to see.. the glitchy blue alert that is telling me to take cover or else I die from a El Reno replica or BE KNOWN THAT THIS IS BASICALLY A AD FOR ATT BY THAT SMALL TEXT.
I remember this storm all too well. I had just moved to Keller, TX from my hometown of Milwaukee, WI. And let me tell you, this one scared me to death. I remember thinking to myself, "What have I gotten myself into?" I moved back to Wisconsin as soon as I was 18 lol.
In April 2003 In the middle of a basketball game chapter 1 cut-in by Mike burger for a bulletin @ 0:28 chapter 2 @1:08 before Comcast time Warner and spectrum was att cable with emergency alert system courtesy of wbap 820. And chapter 3 another bulletin from Mike burger @ 2:51. People did go to shelter before incoming by twister destroy everything.
@@jonavene12 It’s actually WBAP radio doing the EAS activation, and the WBAP broadcast is daisy chained to cable systems in the areas affected, as well as other TV and radio stations in the area (mostly stations that don’t have a weather department).

Imagine if you were home alone at the time watching that game when suddenly that cut in. 😱
thank you, AT&T
"There's a tornado warning, also please buy our products 💕🥰"
- AT&T probably
the new raid shadow legends
@@IFWFold* 😂
@@ozzie_goatit’s like AT&T took this opportunity to use this alert as a ad 🤦♀️
Nice capture! I like how diverse activations with the Texcan encoder can be, thanks for the upload :-D
you …
Scare Factor: 10/10 (Nightmare) The messy screen, the scary warbling, the low-pitched tones, all make this one of the scariest of the EAS alerts.
Most terrifying, thank you

That audio from the North/Central Texas Emergency Alert System must be from WBAP-AM News/Talk 820.

Honestly this when I was a kid honestly scared me back in 03
hes back!!!
Jesus H. CHRIST, SOFTBALL sized hail?! Sadly, it's almost an inevitability that the storm produced at least a few causalities.
Rip to the victims 😢
@@winstonscatliffe5628 Yeahh..not really. The HELL with them..if anything, they're the fortunate ones.

The eas bell is low pitch wich scared me
Is this real? Tornados is the worst storm in the United States.
it is
I'm sure WBAP did this tornado warning (and has been doing so for quite a while!)
I KNEW it was WBAP as soon as the announcer said “at the request of the National Weather Service” lol, also the fact that it’s NORTH Texas
I was born in 2010 so I never got to experience Analong TV (I think)
Sure that game was cancelled when that happened, or maybe they were in Kansas
Why is it sound like wind
Was D-Wade playing on that game?
Yup!
D-Wade would play for the Miami Heat from 2003-2016 and then again for one year (2018-2019) until his retirement.
Was this a KVTV-11 station EAS activation or a cable company one?
This was a cable company eas activation

DANG LEGIT THAT EAS 💀💀💀
Any reason why the EAS Screen is glitching out like that?
Idk maybe it's a VHS recording perhaps?
Holy freak I live in fort worth 💀
wtf this is good
Thank you AT&T 😌😌
