i'm amazed that at his age buddy guy can still hack it up there on stage...they ought to get him a chair to sit in like bb king used to have...i thought that this was all a tad surreal with everyone just strumming some rhythm guitar to a slow backing track...a bit of a box-ticking exercise for all concerned?... bay reminds me a lot of taz in his style and how he plays...both new yorkers too... i wonder if taj is just going to be doing blues for the rest of his musical life or if he's got something else in his creative tank to impress people with...he'd fit nicely into a retro 1970's psychedelic band...too much blues can get boring for all concerned after a while...hopefully the pull of something more progressive and musically challenging will dawn on his consciousness with increasing age and mental capacity.
