Yeah his vids (and Kore's) inspired me to up my game with my aim. Got Aim Hero and Aimtastic and played the hell outta them for several weeks and now I'm close to the same level. I'm amazed at some of the shots I hit now, it feels unreal. I need to up my face bash game though.
Weapons and maps are great and all, I quite dig the prestige system although I wished the perk icon should be more than just a hexagon line outside the perk icon. And yeah I agree with what you said in the description, the weapon upgrade system is quite the disappointment and could use some work, EDARs are completely garbage addition to the enemies since they are basically a sponge and super annoying to deal with, especially the one that could stun you from out of nowhere
Okay that make sense, but still after confronting the EDARs I really don't want to prestige any other perks, leveling up demo is quite the suffering for now
IMO only Airship is great. the other one is another boring ctrl c, ctrl v biotics lab. just my opinion of course. killing floor was always about grimy factories, some ruins or horror gloomy rainy castles or cottages. looks like Tripware have forgotten about that since year and they are making jokes like "nightmare" or biotics lab clones.

Yeah, would have enjoyed them just cutting its backup ammo supply in half, 120 instead of 240. 90 total feels a little... weak. Even with the buff and with it upgraded to 5x status its easy to run out of ammo for it while clearing trash and medium zeds.
The 9mm is rarely useful as a backup unless you play as a Gunslinger. With that perk, the 9mm is a beast with the right upgrades and skills since you can easily kill trash zeds with one shot to the head and anything weaker than a Quarterpound with 3-4.
You can easily do that if you use M99 even in HOE 6p, but in solo mode just RailGun is enough. Btw do you know that Support can one shot SC in hoe 6p too ?
Lockheart is such a funny talkitive character ^^ Back at KF1 when he escaped with the airship i thought if we'll ever ride too while slaying zeds, and yet KF2 thought of everything!
In all seriousness though, fantastic job. The EDARS defiantly kind of make the game from challenging to frustrating, i mean for fuck sakes they have enough health to stand to a fleshpound. And on wave 2? Thats just a waste of bullets and armor. Id say at least drop their health down to maybe a little near a bloat or gorefiend? And with the extra armor like the rioter since they ARE robots. Plus line *maybe* have them be neutral faction? Since they are like another companies EDARS so they fight the zeds but fight you as priority and zeds pick at the robots. Just having robots join in with the zeds seams like bullshit As for the weapon upgrading i feel its a little disbalancing and honesty i feel like it deletes the purpose of muktiple weapon varieties like the AK-12, SCAR, and All the SMGs. Just upgrade the starting weapon to max right? Anyways glad to see your action again, peace!

My biggest issue with the update is the EDARs and their frankly absurd health books for their rarity. It is that same issue I have with the rioter but magnified by like 10 due to their head health being so jarringly high in a group of clots and there being no clear announcement of them until you see them. The static strikers also feel extremely weak compared to the rest of berzerker's arsenal
Wrong, they are pretty decent enemies and I feel that they add a decent amount to the game in terms of actually forcing you to move around. That being said, they just need some work.

That's why this is a beta, and things will change. Even if it made into production builds, Tripwire has and will continue to make things right based on the community. They've patched weapons and zeds that have been out since the game was early access, the EDARS will get a few changes here and there and will end up being fine. They just need some work as they are stupidly spongey and their 'weak' point isn't really all that weak. Fix the stun bot being able to shoot to map geometry, make them all a bit lower on health but make them dodge a bit more often, make their weak spot actually weak. It's not going to be a very hard fix, and that's why they're still asking the community for constant feedback.
Balance of the weapons - agreed. (-) EDARs - they just do not suit the game, i don't really care about their current meta ( as to say ), don't care about how strong they are and so on, i'm always up to challenges. I honestly love the new weapons and summer sideshow maps and zeds. However, I do agree with you on the fact that they completely failed on the upgrade system and the DARs. The upgrade system is not refined AT ALL, the new system for the prices of weapons I don’t personally like, as it makes some weapons seem almost obsolete because you can just get a better one at either the same or slightly higher price. The DARs are just plane pointless and annoying, and don’t add any real enjoyment or challenge to the game. It feels like the only reason they are there is to waste your ammo. Other than that, I think the new zed looks and the new maps, weapons, and accessories are pretty cool.
Great gameplay, sick jumpshots >:D! Since it's early access what I distinguished on this game is that you can play casually quite fine, but when you get good at it the game pays off. Ultimately killing stuff becomes cool! Regarding the update i am just happy they are adding more guns, the upgrading part can always be refined.
Dude, you're so badass. I played KF2 for a while and I really liked the game, but I was shit at it. I used to play on suicidal but couldn't consistently complete matches. I started watching your solo gameplays and I learned so much from you. Now I play on HOE and win consistently, all thanks to you, man. If I weren't a console peasant I'd tell you to play some matches with me. I can't wait for this update to go live on console to try everything by myself. Keep up the great work!

I don't have much to complain about this update. Personally, I think the upgrade system is fine. It's a new balance to the game, making old players having to think more. About E.D.A.R, I don't have much to say. The major drawback of this update is removing melee canceling. You can no longer cancel the melee animation with firing, which means it's better to wait for the whole reload animation, which sucks. That breaks the flow of the game for most perks, especially Gunslinger. I hope it's a bug or Tripwire will bring it back. I don't think it's written in the patch note. Keep up the good work.
+Tom Chuang Uh, you must've missed it in the vid 7:53, 10:35 and especially 22:40. Really all over the vid, heh. It's still in the game, except now instead of hitting bash and immediately firing, you have to hold fire and hit bash to immediately cancel the rest of the animation and fire. So Tripwire's "fix" (if that's what it was) for reload cancelling just made melee bash a pain in the ass since you have to go through the whole animation now. It's still pretty easy to do but a lot easier (er well... possible now) to fuck up if you hold fire too early or too late in the reload as seen here 6:39 and 28:13, 28:39, since you'll then become stuck in the bash animation. And I agree. Normally I'd think it was kind of a ridiculous exploit in the game (and it does render a few skills useless), but by golly do I feel like a boss when I cancel the reload to immediately blast a charging scrakes head off with the railgun/M99. I mean on one hand it's a silly exploit and you could just say, "why don't they just increase the reload speed to keep the flow of the game?" But I think even if they did, I would still miss reload cancelling. There's something about hitting a few buttons before blowing a zeds face off that feels so satisfying. Maybe because it increases the skill cap just slightly in a game that lacks a lot of necessary key binds.
I agree with you on the reload cancel change, but you can still do it, it just takes time to get used to. The new way to do it is to initiate the reload animation, hold M1, wait for the ammo counter to update, and then press bash. It cancels the animation and you fire instantly. The method has just been reversed.
From my experience so far some weapons still benefit melee cancelling, such as pretty much the entire Gunslinger arsenal if dual-wield, since most of them soft reload as early as the animation for loading just one gun.
Well, after the second beta, you can't reload cancel at all, no matter you fire and then bash or bash and then fire. It sucks. Hope Tripwire revert it back.
EDAR legs? I think you've confused it with the alpha rioter. The EDAR has a weakness in the chest battery with a 1.4x damage bonus. The head is a great target too if you can over-damage it enough to get a one hit kill, 1.1x damage.
While that is true, shooting the legs causes them to dodge, resulting in even more unpredictable erratic movement. It's better to just mag dump them even if you're wasting ammo doing so.
A lot of people don't realize that the Beretta is a surprisingly good pistol if upgraded against trash zeds. Especially on commando and swat with the 85 percent damage perk. Made it all the way to the boss fight on hell on Earth with nothing but a set of fully upgradee pistols on a commando.

You are very skilled at getting headshots while shooting from the hip. I always have my flashlight on and looking down the sights to try and get every headshot possible.
Mr. Porter hip fire with occasional ads is far more effective. There are no penalties in KF 1 or 2 for hip firing. You move faster and have better vision of area when Not ads.
Its strange how killing floor 2 gets you so used to not using a crosshair.
Honestly this is one of the few games I feel like the crosshairs actually gets in the way of shot placement lol

You can prestige multiple times when the update comes out, making the icon more fancy and giving you other weapon skins in return.

I honestly love the new weapons and summer sideshow maps and zeds. However, I do agree with you on the fact that they completely failed on the upgrade system and the DARs. The upgrade system is not refined AT ALL, the new system for the prices of weapons I don’t personally like, as it makes some weapons seem almost obsolete because you can just get a better one at either the same or slightly higher price. The DARs are just plane pointless and annoying, and don’t add any real enjoyment or challenge to the game. It feels like the only reason they are there is to waste your ammo. Other than that, I think the new zed looks and the new maps, weapons, and accessories are pretty cool.

Since it's early access what I distinguished on this game is that you can play casually quite fine, but when you get good at it the game pays off. Ultimately killing stuff becomes cool!

Dude, you're so badass. I played KF2 for a while and I really liked the game, but I was shit at it. I used to play on suicidal but couldn't consistently complete matches. I started watching your solo gameplays and I learned so much from you. Now I play on HOE and win consistently, all thanks to you, man. If I weren't a console peasant I'd tell you to play some matches with me. I can't wait for this update to go live on console to try everything by myself. Keep up the great work!

I don't have much to complain about this update. Personally, I think the upgrade system is fine. It's a new balance to the game, making old players having to think more. About E.D.A.R, I don't have much to say. The major drawback of this update is removing melee canceling. You can no longer cancel the melee animation with firing, which means it's better to wait for the whole reload animation, which sucks. That breaks the flow of the game for most perks, especially Gunslinger. I hope it's a bug or Tripwire will bring it back. I don't think it's written in the patch note. Keep up the good work.

Uh, you must've missed it in the vid 7:53, 10:35 and especially 22:40. Really all over the vid, heh.
It's still in the game, except now instead of hitting bash and immediately firing, you have to hold fire and hit bash to immediately cancel the rest of the animation and fire. So Tripwire's "fix" (if that's what it was) for reload cancelling just made melee bash a pain in the ass since you have to go through the whole animation now.
It's still pretty easy to do but a lot easier (er well... possible now) to fuck up if you hold fire too early or too late in the reload as seen here 6:39 and 28:13, 28:39, since you'll then become stuck in the bash animation.
And I agree. Normally I'd think it was kind of a ridiculous exploit in the game (and it does render a few skills useless), but by golly do I feel like a boss when I cancel the reload to immediately blast a charging scrakes head off with the railgun/M99.
I mean on one hand it's a silly exploit and you could just say, "why don't they just increase the reload speed to keep the flow of the game?" But I think even if they did, I would still miss reload cancelling. There's something about hitting a few buttons before blowing a zeds face off that feels so satisfying. Maybe because it increases the skill cap just slightly in a game that lacks a lot of necessary key binds.
I agree with you on the reload cancel change, but you can still do it, it just takes time to get used to. The new way to do it is to initiate the reload animation, hold M1, wait for the ammo counter to update, and then press bash. It cancels the animation and you fire instantly. The method has just been reversed.
From my experience so far some weapons still benefit melee cancelling, such as pretty much the entire Gunslinger arsenal if dual-wield, since most of them soft reload as early as the animation for loading just one gun.
Well, after the second beta, you can't reload cancel at all, no matter you fire and then bash or bash and then fire. It sucks. Hope Tripwire revert it back.

In case if you're wondering, EDARs are fully armored except for their legs. That's their weak spot.
EDAR legs? I think you've confused it with the alpha rioter. The EDAR has a weakness in the chest battery with a 1.4x damage bonus. The head is a great target too if you can over-damage it enough to get a one hit kill, 1.1x damage.
While that is true, shooting the legs causes them to dodge, resulting in even more unpredictable erratic movement. It's better to just mag dump them even if you're wasting ammo doing so.

A lot of people don't realize that the Beretta is a surprisingly good pistol if upgraded against trash zeds. Especially on commando and swat with the 85 percent damage perk. Made it all the way to the boss fight on hell on Earth with nothing but a set of fully upgradee pistols on a commando.
Such a shame this game is so easy.

You are very skilled at getting headshots while shooting from the hip. I always have my flashlight on and looking down the sights to try and get every headshot possible.
Mr. Porter hip fire with occasional ads is far more effective. There are no penalties in KF 1 or 2 for hip firing. You move faster and have better vision of area when Not ads.
unless you are the gunslinger since one of the first perks u get removes the movement penalty for ads
